Extra, Extra Studying PV Lauren Closed

Miranda smiled at Lauren's obvious relief, then turned back to continue scanning the book titles. There were a lot, make no mistake. It made one wish there was a more precise way to find the desired books, but until she could figure out that summoning spell a fellow student had mentioned, there was no good way to do that.

She pulled out a book that seemed like a surprisingly dry essay on the theory of Transfiguration and whether it was worth learning. She put it back right away. No, that did not sound like anything Miranda was interested in reading, and it also wasn't the book Lauren was looking for.

At the other girl's question, Miranda paused in her examination and looked over with a small smile. "Not homework just yet. Most of the material at the start of the year is stuff I already read up on during summer holidays, so I'm doing pretty good on that front." She paused, then continued when she remembered that Lauren had asked her a separate question. "I just came here to relearn. I admit, I'm a bit nostalgic, and it's been a while since I came here. I've been spending too much time enjoying the sunny days while they last."

If there was anything about the school year she wasn't looking forward too, it was the ridiculously dreary weather during wintertime. Rain was bad enough, but snow? That sounded even worse. Whenever it snowed back home, she'd just stay indoors or stick to the animal habitats with heating. Much more enjoyable than getting soaked to the bone and frozen.
