In spite of still feeling the other girl's eyes practically burning holes into her skin as she stared at Illowy's scars, the older brunette chose not to call attention to it; trying to keep in mind they were just first years and probably had never seen such a thing before, especially if either of them happened to be Muggle Borns, "You're not an idiot. You shouldn't say such things about yourself." she spoke, pulling her wand from her bag. Illowy took a lot of pride in her wand, a beautiful mayhaw wood that was engraved with delicate vines and leaves with a single rose at the bottom of the handle. Shaking a tress of hair out of her face, the snake poised her wand, "Close your eyes so you don't get soap in them." she warned gently, giving him a moment before tracing the well practiced motion through the air, "Scourgify." without hesitation the spell scrubbed his face clean in moments until all remnants of the spell's soap and the eyeliner vanished.

Pale eyes inspected her work until she was satisfied and she tucked her wand away in her bag once more as the pair chattered their introductions, "Ravenclaw has nothing to do with being smart, else I would be in there." she assured, "Those in Ravenclaw aren't just smart, they're individualistic, creative, and wise. All things I'm sure you simply havn't realized about yourself." she explained. Truly, she was surprised when the word 'edgy' was used to describe herself. Then again, it was a fair impression considering the dark sweater and jeans she'd chosen to wear that day, "My name is Illowy. I'm a third year Slytherin." she informed to them.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

I shall be taking my leave now. Thanks for rping with me you guys :)
"Whoa a Third Year, everyone hide" Jax joked, wiping the reminder of soap with the sleeve of his hoodie, blinking away a few bubbles. The eyeliner was gone, as if it had never existed. "Thank you," he said, throwing a grin in her direction. As soon as the makeup had been removed, tension left his tiny body. It was visible, the way his shoulders loosened up, stance changed to offensive rather than defensive. "I shouldn't play around with that stuff if I have no idea what I'm doing," he admitted, running a hand through his hair reflexively, black locks being pushed back by long, pale fingers.

"Muggle school made a lot more sense than all of...this," a small chuckle followed as he made a wide, encompassing gesture, including the bathrooms and clatter of voices outside. And then the young boy fell silent. Because what else was there to say, really? As lovely and positively mortifying as this encounter had been, it was only right this was where he made his exit. Otherwise, things would get even more awkward than they already were, and his slight social anxiety wasn't about to let that happen.

He turned towards Scarry The Philosophical and gave her one last grin and thank you, picking up his bag and throwing it over one shoulder at the same time. "It was nice meeting you" he told the girls, clasping the polished door handle. "I'll let you ladies do whatever ladies do whenever they're alone." And with that, he opened the door and slipped outside, just in time for his next Charms lesson.
