Aurélie had calmed down thanks to Henry's kind words and she felt like a weight was lifted from her, she hated lying. Lying was the one thing she was absolutely against so typically she had to be one with a secret. A feeling of relief and comfort came over Aurélie when Henry comforted her, he held her hand and told her about how Hogwarts helped werewolf kids. He even invited her to join his club for werewolves. The kind slytherin promised her she would never be alone and he would help her through the hard parts. Henry smiled and pulled Aurélie into a tight hug. The girl embraced him and held him tight. Her tears had dried thanks to him and she felt incredibly safe in his arms. "Thanks Henry.. I feel like I could tell you anything." Aurélie's head rested on his shoulder during the bear hug, she was a short girl and he was rather tall. With her head resting on his shoulder, she smiled. You make me feel safe, Aurélie thought to herself. She wanted to tell Henry but she enjoyed being held by him and didn't want anything to interrupt that. He felt safe and warm. The girl remembered the cold from the night of the incident and felt like she would forever feel cold. It wasn't a physical coldness but more a sense of fear. After a few moments Aurélie's hand reached up to Henry's neck and she grazed his necklace. Hmm, a sun and a moon.. what a coincidence. Maybe I was supposed to come to Hogwarts all along. I'm glad I decided to do so.

While the pair had been preoccupied with their stories, they hadn't noticed the rain had gotten heavier. By now it wasn't drizzling, it had started pouring water from the skies. Aurélie's curly hair was dripping wet and weighed down on her shoulders from soaking up all the moisture. The young female suddenly broke apart from Henry's embrace when she came aware of the stormy weather. She loved rain especially on a dark evening like this but right now, she wanted to go to the pond. Aurélie started laughing loud and shouted; "Come on! Let's go!" Grabbing Henry's hand and pulling him along she ran through the trees finding her way to her mystery spot. After running through the rain for a few minutes, they reached a place where the trees were closer together than elsewhere. Many bushes and plants were grown together into a sort of natural wall but Aurélie found a way through. She moved some branches aside and carefully, trying not to get stabbed in the eye by a branch, she walked through the wall of leaves and roots. Making sure not to lose Henry, she held his hand tighter and pulled him with her.

As day transformed into night and the moon surpassed the sun, as the drizzling of the rain got heavier, there in the forest by the campgrounds of the London Quidditch Stadium stood two tweens hugging. As it felt like time froze for a few minutes and Henry felt like that was where he was suppose to be, like him gaining courage from his first year was suppose to happen and everything that either happen or is happening to him is suppose to happen for one reason or another. As he felt his hair become wet from the rain and his clothes begun to drip from water droplets that have fallen on him, he felt Aurélie grab his hand and pull him along. Henry in return held tight to her small but muscular hand as he ran with her thought the wet and soggy forest to some cover, to escape the rain. Henry couldn't help but smile a little as even through they were soaked wet and the ran was pouring harder it still was sort of fun to be running though the forest with Aurélie, as Henry pushed pasted branches and brushed while keeping Aurélie's hand tight in his own, he emerged from following the young girl to a wall of branches and roots, as he felt Aurélie pull on his hand then run in. Henry followed while keeping his hand tightly clasped to hers, as he pulled away roots and branches that blocked their way through the wall of vegetation.

Aurélie felt twigs and thorns tug at her hair and clothes as she pushed through the barrier but soon she and Henry had gone through. They wound up standing in an open space in the forest. In front of them was a small pond in which the rain droplets made circles every time one hit the surface of the water. Surrounding the water mass was a thin path following the edge of the small lake. It made a perfect route for a short stroll. The path was hedged by many different kinds of flowers, weeds, vines and other greenery. It seemed like a tiny, hidden paradise. Left of the pond grew a large tree with overhanging branches. The tree was taller than any of the others and stood out from the rest. At least double the size of the pine trees in the forest, this tree had enormous branches and roots sticking out from the earth. The leaves on the overhanging branches made a perfect cover for the rain. One of the branches grew low on the tree trunk and appeared to hang on the ground. That one was quite big and strong enough to hold at least four people.

Aurélie still felt Henry’s hand in hers and gave it a small tug when she said; “There! We can cover from the rain.” With her other hand she pointed in the direction of the enormous timber and started marching toward it. “What do you think?”, Aurélie asked the boy, hinting at the hidden paradise she had taken him to. She was a stickler for nature, especially forests and alike. I hope he likes it.It’ like a hidden treasure, isn’t it? I’m so glad I stumbled upon it.” Reaching the giant tree, Aurélie let go of Henry’s hand as she needed it to pull herself up to the low-hanging branch. She set her foot on the side of the tree and used it to give her something to push up from. With both hands on the big branch, she held it tight and hauled her legs in the air so each of them rested on either side of the huge wooden support. Once comfortable, Aurélie patted the tree with her hand, showing Henry to sit beside her. A few droplets still managed to escape through the roof of leaves but they weren’t merely enough to notice. A shower of rain still gushed from the dark grey clouds and most of the stream gushed on the ground, guided by the roof of leaves.

As Henry was pulled into an opening, he was speechless as he saw a small, round pond in the center that sparkled from the falling rain drops and a field of white flowers that look like clouds along with a few floating lights of fire flys. As he felt his hand get pulled again by Aurélie, he followed her as he still was taking in this breath taking, secret spot. Henry saw where she took him, by a large tree with branches were a couple feet wide, sort if reminded him if a spider or the whomping willow branches as he watched Aurélie sat underneath then almost suggested that he should do the same. Henry took a seat next Aurélie, as he notice that from the large beaches and leaf's they would only occasionally get wet. As he let go of Aurélie's hand, tentatively and placed his arm on his legs, he looked up and took a deep breath as he spoke " this place is incredible, truly it's magical." Henry paused as he thought it was rubbish to say it was magical but it really was as he continued " you were lucky to find it," as he paused he saw how they were both wet and not meaning to be a gentlemen,
but he did want to be nice and a friend he spoke again " if you like or if you're cold than I can give you my flannel if you want?" Henry then thought about that and spoke quickly again " I'm not trying to be a gentlemen or anything, just a nice friend... uh this place is really beautiful."

Henry sat down on the tree next to Aurélie and said; “this place is incredible, truly it’s magical. You were lucky to find it.” Aurélie nodded in silence to agree with him and looked out to the raindrops hitting the water of the round pond. The flowers swayed in the wind and drops fell of them in a calming rhythm. *drip* *drop* Henry broke the silence when he offered Aurélie his flannel shirt. “I’m not trying to be a gentlemen or anything, just a nice friend… uh this place is really beautiful.” Aurélie had the impression that the boy was a little nervous or perhaps embarrassed by his proposal. The young girl didn’t mind it and gladly accepted his offer; “That would be so kind, thank you.” Her blue woollen cardigan was dripping wet, when she slipped it off her arms and squeezed it, at least two cups of water fell out. “Wow, that is drenched..” Aurélie’s eyes grew big for a second as she looked at it and then smiled at Henry. She hung the cardigan open over the branch above them to dry. Holding on to the tree, she tilted forward to pick up her tote bag which she had left standing at the foot of the tree. Once she managed to get it, she reached into it and took out of bottle of lemonade. There was still half of it left so she took a big gulp, then looked at Henry and while she nodded at the bottle she asked; "Do you want some? It's homemade lemonade." With a playful tone she added; "Don't worry, I wouldn't poison ya.. now" She grinned and raised one her brows to give herself a comic expression.

Thoughts passed through Aurélie’s mind, she noted that Henry and she had more in common than she thought when they first met. Both of them lost a parent (in different ways but still), both were attacked by a werewolf and survived (living with the effects for the rest of their lives), Henry seemed to enjoy nature too. I guess people really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.. Aurélie’s first impression was that he looked very handsome and probably had many people charmed by his looks. She thought he would have the least interest in walking through the woods and talking about their lives. But he surprised her. In fact, he seemed to be the opposite. Not that she didn't find him attractive but he wasn't a womanizer or anything like that. Henry seemed like a shy boy who wouldn’t easily talk about what he felt or thought. The girl was lucky enough that Henry had opened up to her so quickly about his family. She would do everything to keep his trust and promised not to tell anyone about it. Aurélie never broke a promise.

Henry watched as Aurélie took off then hung her blue cardigan in a branch to dry, Henry sipped out of his red flannel and squeezed any water out of it, luckily after a quick squeeze it was mostly dry. Henry then handed her the flannel after she accepted his offer, he then spoke " it was my brother's so it's a bit large," Henry then smiled as he hoped he didn't just tell Aurélie that his family was poor and she wouldn't judge him for that because, he really did like talking to her. Henry got pulled from his thoughts when she offered him some homemade lemonade from a glass bottle that she was drinking a few minutes ago and have made a joke about poisoning him to, Henry didn't want to be rude but he didn't want to take advantage of her either so as he thought and felt some anxiety in the back of his mind, he spoke " sure that sounds delicious," Henry paused as he took the glass bottle from her then chuckle as he continued, jokingly" and I should hope not even through while this place is beautiful, it's also a good place to poison someone."

Henry took a slip of the lemonade then smiled as it tasted amazing, as he passed her back the bottle he spoke "délicieuse, that's amazing, truly the best lemonade I ever tasted," Henry paused then added while laughing " and no sign of poison either." Henry sat there for a while taking in the peace and Aurélie's company. While he never was quick to judge others, he couldn't believe how someone as beautiful as Aurélie preferred to be in the woods or talk about the past, or is funny and kind, usually most beautiful girls are the opposite but Aurélie wasn't like most and Henry loved that, he enjoyed being her friend and wanting to continue being her friend and also get to learn more about her, so he spoke " so did you meet any other Hogwarts students, yet? I know a few that would love to meet you, through."

Henry passed Aurélie his red flannel shirt and said; “it was my brother’s so it’s a bit large.” Aurélie slipped the button-up over her shoulders and rubbed her arms to gain some warmth. Aurélie was a small girl, the flannel was already a bit oversized on Henry who was quite tall so the short girl looked like she could drown in the shirt but she felt comfortable in it either way. If she would have stood up, she would appear to be wearing it as a dress with way too long sleeves. “It’s so cosy and soft!” Aurélie grinned as she thought about how funny she looked at the moment. “Oh, don’t worry I like oversized clothes to get comfy in. There’s no better way to relax on the couch wearing a huge sweater and holding a hot chocolate milk in your hand.”, the girl added when Henry told her it used to his brother’s. So nice of him to lend me his flannel, definitely since it was his brother’s. He probably misses his family..

Aurélie glanced at Henry as she tasted the homemade lemonade and when he complimented it for being “the best lemonade I ever tasted” she answered; “Heh, it’s my nan’s secret recipe..” Aurélie moved her head a little closer to Henry’s and whispered to him; “Just a touch of honey does the trick.” She returned to her previous position and winked at him. Then, in the most serious voice, she added; “Don’t tell anyone, my nan would kill you.” Aurélie tried to keep a straight face but she couldn’t supress her laugh after trying to scare Henry. Inbetween bursts of laughter she spoke; “Honestly, I don’t know what she would do to you so you better not tell anyone just in case.”

After a couple of minutes, the pair had been enjoying the charming view in front of them and taking in the peace and quiet. Henry was the first to break the silence by asking Aurélie; “so did you meet any other Hogwarts students, yet? I know a few that would to meet you, though.” To that question, Aurélie replied; “Yes, at the campfire I briefly met um, I think his name was Zyk? But he was upset about something so he left soon after. His friend Eyre stayed and we chatted a little by the fire. Otherwise I haven’t met anyone else yet.”

Aurélie continued the conversation and with a curious tone in her voice she asked the boy; “Do you have many friends at Hogwarts?” The girl listened to Henry’s answer and in the meanwhile noticed the sky had gotten pretty dark already. Partially from the stormy clouds but also because the evening was progressing faster than she thought. Huh, time flies when you’re having fun. The rain had decreased but still left circled markings on the water. The sun was setting and quite low to the horizon already. A few rays of sunlight peeked through the grey clouds and lit up the flower beds around the pond. The light made it seem as if they had caught fire. Tiny fireflies still twirled around the water and flowers as if they were dancing to the sound of the rain. Aurélie took a deep breath and took in the delicacy and picturesque scene that played in front of her. For the first time in long, she felt at ease. Not only the charming setting made her feel calm and carefree, she suspected most of it was the presence of Henry. I could do this more often. Hang out with Henry and just forget about the world for a while...

“Do you have many friends at Hogwarts?” A question that remain ringing in Henry's head as he thought of the answer, friends? Did I have friends at Hogwarts and if so how many, are those people that I met at year really my friend? Ugh, stop it Henry of course they are, but how do I know? What do they really think of me and do they consider me a friend? Most of them do, just stop worrying yourself of course they consider you a friend but do they? Maybe I should say I have none but that's a lie and you know it, you have plenty of friends. Don't over think it and just speak, well speak and don't say anything to embarrass yourself.

Henry looked at Aurélie, as the red flannel looked truly large on her, at least she said she liked oversize clothes and she didn't catch on that I'm poor so that's good, hopefully that's something I could continue to keep from her. As Henry thought about how it answer her question that was ringing in his ears, he saw that the sky and surrounding area has got particularly dark and getting harder to see without a wand lighting charm, as fire flies soon filled the sky around them and Henry thought that made the place even more beautiful as he finally said with a chuckle " I know Eyre, we met on the Hogwarts Express last year but we don't really talk or hang out much. It might be that were in different houses but I doubt it, it's probably the fact that he's more social than me and is definitely among the popular people at Hogwarts while I'm not," Henry laughed as he continued in a joking manner " if you want to be among the popular then hanging out with Eyre is the way to go instead of hanging out with me and some of my friends, also known as the outcasts."

Henry then thought about her question a bit more before saying "before Hogwarts I only had one friend, who I consider my best friend; her names Cricket. After I got to Hogwarts I don't really have many friends in slytherin besides from Charles, most of my friends are in ravenclaw. Miranda, Margaret, Heather and Carolyn, but I also have some friends in hufflepuff like Altair." Henry then paused as he started to think of a few memories of each of his friends before continuing " there's a few more but I don't have loads of friends, just sort of like a small group of friends who I enjoy hanging out and talking with, sort of how I like talking to, Aurélie." Henry smiled at her then spoke again " I would ask if you like to join me on the Hogwarts Express, come September first on the way to Hogwarts but knowing Eyre he probably already invited you to his own compartment, with." Henry paused and tried a funny mimic of Eyre, " with all of the popular and cool kids." Henry couldn't help but laugh a little before speaking again "but maybe we could meet up in diagon ally after camp before Hogwarts or during Hogwarts?"

Henry seemed to think before he answered for quite a while after Aurélie asked him about his friends at Hogwarts. “Haha, I’m not really the kind to hang out with the popular kids. I’d rather hang with you.” Aurélie replied to Henry. She couldn’t help but blush a little after admitting that she liked spending time with him. “Cricket? That’s a funny name. She sounds like fun. What do you do together, do you have any hobbies?”, Aurélie wanted to learn more about Henry and what he spent his time on when he didn’t have school. Maybe they had more common interests.

When the boy proposed to join him on the Hogwarts Express in September but then brushed away the idea as he figured she would go with Eyre, Aurélie furrowed her brows and corrected him; “He hasn’t actually so I’d love to join you-“ Gesturing air quotes with her hands, she added in a comical way; “you and the outcasts.” The girl laughed at Henry’s mimicking of Eyre. The Slytherin then asked; “but maybe we could meet up in Diagon Ally after camp before Hogwarts or during Hogwarts?” Aurélie thought about that and she figured it would be a nice trip and a bonus; she would be able to hang out with Henry again. “We can definitely do that! Actually, August 12th is my birthday so I was planning on going to Diagon Alley anyway. Do you want to meet up then?”, Aurélie said she was planning to go already but she wasn’t really. The girl didn’t want to spend her birthday alone with her grandmother but didn’t want to come over pathetic to Henry. “I might bring some of those baked treats I promised you.” Aurélie smiled as she thought about their plan. The more she thought about it, the more excited she became.

Henry couldn't help but laugh like the way Aurélie said him and the outcasts in a comedy tone, he was also glad that Eyre didn't invite her because he would love to chat with her on the Hogwarts Express and he enjoyed hanging out with her very much, he somehow found her very easy to talk and opened up to like they been friends for longer than a day. Henry thought about her question for a while about what he and Cricket like to do before finally answering " we live in different places so we mainly write each other letters but when we do see each other during the summer; we like to explore the woods and search for creatures or animals. And also there's a few places we both like,
that have these large oak trees that we like to sit under and either read, talk, practice or write music, or search for creatures or animals,"
Henry paused and thought about something did spoke again " when we were younger and I lived in godric hollow there was this monster hollow that lived next to me, uh moster hunters are people who hunt creature's or how they say pests and also people who aren't fully human, like us and others." Henry shook his head in disgust as he continued " there truly horrible they think whatever that is not human, is a danger and has to be captured and either killed or watched over. Anyway me and Cricket," He then paused again and leaned closer to her as he whispered " don't tell anyone but Cricket is a dhampir, which is a person who was bitten by a vampire or someone in their family was a dhampir and it's been passed down. Anyway a dhampir isn't a vampire they just have a few vampire traits but they won't hurt you, Cricket is one of the sweetest bad best people that I know."Henry paused again as he leaned out and smile as he continued " just don't tell anyone, not even Cricket that I told you, anyway when we were younger Cricket and I use to play jokes and mess with this moster hunter for fun and he never suspected us either. Seriously for a moster hunter was a bloody idiot, then again most ate since their prejudice against anything that's not full human." Henry then moves past the subject as he ask Aurélie, wanting to get to know the girl a bit better, " what about you, what do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?

Henry laughed a bit as he heard Aurélie speak “We can definitely do that! Actually, August 12th is my birthday so I was planning on going to Diagon Alley anyway. Do you want to meet up then?” Henry smiled at her as he thought, he then heard her say about bringing some promised treats which made the offer even better, Henry licked his lips a bit then smiled widely as he spoke " I would love to! That sounds like great bloody fun, thanks for inviting me and I'll be looking forward to toward treats." Henry then thought about it a bit more as he continued to smile " any of your other friends coming? Because I know how bloody awful it can be celebrating your birthday without friends," Henry then regretted saying that as he quickly said " but I'll come and celebrate it with you, it will be bloody amazing and maybe Eyre or others will come to."
