Lost in Hogwarts
Alina would tell him that she loved to travel, and would take him up on his offer to show her around the world. Matrix would blink in shock, he had been half kidding with the offer, because he was not even sure if she was the type of person to liked to travel. He smiled, happy to have found someone else who liked to travel. He had wanted someone to travel with around his age.
She would then ask him where he wanted to travel. Matrix would think for a moment. “I think we should start with London, as it would be easier to fit in, especially with school going on. Perhaps on a long break, we could go somewhere else? Perhaps Finland, and view the northern lights? I have not been there yet, and I heard it’s beautiful in winter....” Matrix would say exited to have found a new travel companion.
She would then tell him how she has not used muggle transportation, other than train. Matrix would be happy that she was not the kind of person who would solely rely on magic. “Train has to be one of my favorite ways to travel. Perhaps there is a train there from here. I’ll start saving up then. Don’t worry about Muggle customs! I’ll take care of that!” Matrix would say. His parents barely used magic to travel, so Matrix was used to it. He would of never imagined that he would be off on another adventure right after entering Hogwarts. He had missed the thrill of going into the unknown. Suddenly, Matrix realized that Alina may not acually be serious about any of this at all. “You are serious? Right?” Matrix would ask cautiously. It would of been quite embarrassing if Matrix had gotten so hyped up for no reason.

"Super serious! How great would that be?" she smiled to him brightly. "Hey, maybe I met you for a reason, Matrix," she said as she bumped her hip playfully into his own. "I mean, not everyone gets to find a travel companion when wandering the halls of Hogwarts. We're pretty lucky."
He wanted to start with London which was fine with her. She had been there so many times because Surrey, where she lived, wasn't too far, but she had never seen what HIS London would be. What would be important to him? That would be a good way of getting to know her new friend.
"And the sooner, the better. We can explore more places if we get started right away. I'll have to keep up with my studies since I won't always have the weekends for that but I suppose if we take muggle transportation than there will be time to do all that during commute. How about you? Have you always been a good student?" She got decent grades, but they came hard to her. She envied the Ravenclaws that had the knowledge and wit.
They finally passed the Kitchens and got to the entrance of the Hufflepuff Common Room that was a stack of wooden barrels. She tapped on one of the barrels, two from the bottom, middle of the second row, and did so to the rhythm of Helga Hufflepuff. The password to their common room never changed, from what she had heard.

Alina would tell him that she was serious and Matrix would sigh with relief. She would then ask him if he had good grades in school. Matrix would think for a moment before answering her question. “I guess so....” Matrix was not an extraordinary student but he had always gotten above average grades. “I’m not the best in the class... but I am trying my best to be there one day” Matrix would say smiling. He hoped that that would be enough to get him the weekend out of school. He wondered what the policies work. “How about next weekend?” Matrix would ask her. It was pretty soon, but they had a whole week to get permission.
They would finally reach the dorm room when he would began walking towards the barrels to play the rhythm to enter the common room. He had heard that other common rooms have words so it was cool and unique that they where a rhythm instead. Alina would beat him to the barrels and play the rhythm. The secret entry would open and Matrix would turn to Alina. “Ok then, see you in London then” He would say with a smile. He would enter the common room.
