@Elsian CoxLogan laughed as she stood on the upper platform of the library, looking down at her friend as he got off the couch and started to follow her. "I am not going to start any food wars at Hogwarts, I can promise you that much. No master plans. I don't want to get into any trouble," she laughed as she turned and walked to the corner of the platform farthest from the windows and leaned against the shelf.
She looked at her friend, a grin on her face, as she spoke in a very serious tone. "Oh, I promise this is going to be the best tour." The Hufflepuff spun around and reached for a small notch between the two bookcases in the corner and carefully pushed on the side of the bookcase. A rolling noise could be heard as the small bookcase slid to the side revealing a rather well lit staircase covered in a layer of dust.
"Clearly my brother's haven't used this recently," she muttered to herself as she quickly stepped through to the bottom of the steps and motioned the Gryffindor behind her to follow. As soon as her friend would have followed her she would press a small lever on the steps causing the bookshelf to slide back into place with a quiet click.
"Come on, this is one of our favorite rooms," Logan stated as she quickly jogged up the stairs and turned to head up another set. The stairs led into a large open room, which seemed to be either part of the attic or a storage room. Most of the place was covered in dust, boxes stacked almost to the ceiling and a small circle window on the far side of the room. One are had almost no dust at all though, and that is were a stack of blankets and pillows lay.
"This used to be an old servants bedroom before my grandfather updated the place. He didn't need the room for anything and thought it would be a nice storage space. He left the old servants staircase for us kids to explore and it allows us to hide from our family because we can disappear to here." Logan explained as she blew dust off of an old crate and opened it, revealing a stack of old books and a few paintings. Scrunching her nose she moved on to the next box, grinning when she found what she was looking for. Quickly she pulled out what seemed to be a slingshot or sorts along with a catapult. "We hide out here quite often."

Sighing as if it was a pity he dragged himself up the staircase, "in that case I suppose it's up to me to start one. Don't worry I'll choose only the finest pie to attack you with."
The others grin instantly sent alarm bells ringing. Not so much in a bad way but still the sort that made you want to look around. As if you were missing something obvious. "Well I'll hold you to that," he said, slipping over to the corner she'd decided to rest at. For a moment he was a bit confused, not really understanding what was so...special about this spot for her to just stop. The urge to look around more closely itching at the back of his mind again because obviously he was missing something.
Just as he was about to open his mouth and actually ask was when she turned away from him. Reaching between the cases to do...something. The smallest hint of a hitch of some sort of gears that sent a rolling sound out from the cases as it slid open. Peering down the newly revealed staircase Elsian blinked in surprised awe, easily listening to the others ushering inside as the opening slid back into place as if it was simply a dead end. Just like something out of a book.
Lagging a bit behind when Logan jogged up the stairs Elsian found the awe quickly melting away and turning into something else. Less surprise, less amazement and more...excitement? Maybe not. He wasn't quite sure. But he could feel it growing while he made it the last few steps, trailing after Logan to eye the room that looked as if left alone and forgotten if not for the small spot of blankets and pillows. He found himself trailing a hand lazily along the long stacks of boxes, the small layer of dust leaving a small clear trail in his wake while he listened to Logan.
"This place kinda feels.." he trailed off, a grin making its way onto his face as he twisted away to eye the room again. Dusting his finger across his pants he finally could place that feeling, not quite wonder but close enough and he realized it was because this place reminded him of the ivy slip. Separate from the rest of the world. "-like something out of a story."
He turned to Logan, smiling a bit when he saw the slingshot, "you look like you belong in Neverland," he laughed, walking over to her, "maybe you could be the first lost girl."
Leaning forward Elsian tilted his head to and fro for a moment, peering up at Logan from behind messy hair with a hum of thought. "The again I don't think you'd do to well taking orders from some wild boy," he hummed leaning back on his heels and throwing his arms up in a shrug and lazy smile, "maybe you could wear more green and become the new peter pan. Your brothers the first lost boys of your group~" he snickered.

@Elsian Cox"My grandfather absolutely loved fantasy stories. He thought maybe us kids would love the little bit of fantasy and adventure he put into it." Logan explained as she put the slingshot and catapult back into the box. Quickly she walked towards one of the windows and pulled a sheet from over it allowing a stream of light to flood into the room, dust flying everywhere from the sheet. Coughed, she waved a hand in front of her face attempting to get rid of the dust.
At the thought of Neverland, Logan grinned even more. "I listen to you, why wouldn't I be able to take orders from some other wild boy?" she questioned him sarcastically as she crossed her arms and looked at him with a grin on her face. She turned and laughed as she walked over to a portrait laying against one of the walls and dusted it off a bit with her hands, revealing an older looking man along with two young boys standing beside him. "I don't think I would want to wear green, don't want to be confused with a Slytherin now do I?"
Thinking about all of the fun that she would have running around Neverland, never growing up, but having very few friends. "I think going to Neverland would be a bit disappointing though, even though there is magic everywhere, I would never grow old and would have very few friends. Now Wonderland on the other hand is a completely different story. I could be as crazy and different as I want and would never be judged for it ever again." Just the thought of never being judged made Logan happy as she moved to a different section of the room to start clearing away more dust. She wondered which place Elsian would choose, never growing up or being as crazy as he would like.
"Which would you prefer?" Logan questioned as she turned around to face the boy, a photo album in her hand with the family tree on the cover of it. It was surprising how much stuff was in this room that had so much value to the family but was left behind after her mother had died.

Elsian coughed, nose wrinkling at the sudden uproar of dust fluttering through the air. The sudden sunlight, almost painfully bright after getting used to the dimmer setting of the room, had him squinting briefly after her. One hand raising to block it out for a few seconds as his eyes adjusted.
"Hah hah, very funny." he deadpanned, returning her smug look with a stuck out tongue. "And I dunno, being mistaken for other houses isn't all that bad." His tone was light, almost mockingly so, but it was easy to tell he was only half joking by the way he grinned after, "-but suit yourself~" he finished teasingly, crouching near her in front of the newly revealed painting to get a better look out of curiosity.
"Why's all this stuff up here anyways?" he questioned eyeing the portrait, "I get storage but some of this stuff looks important?" Blankets and the like were obvious, things like that left behind for when Logan or her brothers settled up here to hide or lay about. He was sure that some of this stuff probably was better off in storage for now too, after all some things were bound to just be clutter until needed but some of the things? They seemed kinda...different? Maybe it was just him but typically he felt like portraits weren't something to just store away under a cover to gather dust.
They didn't have many to begin with at his house though so maybe it was actually normal for Logan's family though. Maybe it was old, or they already had a bunch up...
"Wonderland huh?"
Now that was a thought. He'd never even thought about going to Wonderland of all places. A crazy, wild place. Full of adventure and impossible things and more nonsense than he could possibly think up himself he was sure.
"...I don't think I'm nearly mad enough for it." he admitted with a grin, turning his head to peer up at her from his perch on the ground."But I'm sure you'd be able to handle it. Talking flowers, endless adventures and all that."
To be stuck in a certain place and not grow old. To know so little people. That was a very big difference between them he supposed. He was sure she was the sort who be great in a place so full of new things in a place like Wonderland but he on the other hand was very content with a smaller number of things. The very idea of being stuck there was far less pleasing to think of for him than what Logan imagined, that much was cold fact.
"Neverland would probably be my choice." To not grow up and deal with troublesome things would surely be enough for him. "I'd say not growing up is fine by me. Being able to fly without a broom doesn't hurt either."

@Elsian CoxLogan sighed as she looked at the painting. "A lot of this stuff is from my mother or from my grandmother. My father didn't handle the death of either one of them the greatest and put anything left behind up here to forget about. My grandmother painted this portrait when he was around our age." Logan explained as she leaned the portrait back against the wall and stood up again.
Having the conversation turn back to Wonderland vs. Neverland allowed her to forget about the thoughts of her mother that had flooded in just a few moments before. "Of yes, didn't you realize that I am completely and utterly mad?" A grin formed on her face as she spun around and grabbed a hold of the closest pillow, launching it at Elsian as she quickly moved behind a pile of boxes to get away from the boy.
If she knew anything about the boy, it was that he wasn't going to give up easily and she may have just started a full on war against the boy. "I think we have time for a little game before lunch, don't you think Elsian?" Logan called out from behind the pile of boxes.

The revelation her words made him want to wince. It frankly sounded horrible, depressingly so really and he hadn't wanted to make Logan sad all because of some stupid curiosity!
He didn't really know what to say in return. Sorry was so annoyingly...wrong. Everyone said that when they heard something tragic. As if it meant anything when it hardly ever did, especially from a stranger. Because really, what was he but a stranger to any of her family but Logan herself? Maybe that sounded horrible but he stuck by it.
"She was very good," he said instead. And she was too if the painting was something to judge her skill by! Made it seem like a terrible shame to hide it away, especially something like this but he didn't dare say it aloud.
Tilting away to look up he raised a brow at Logan from his crouch on the floor, resting his chin in his hand as she twirled with a grin. "Oh wonderful, so you're saying I made a tutoring deal with a bonkers huffpuff?" huffing a small snort he turned away, linking his hands to stretch his arms above him head with a hum as he began to stand. "Should I be worried about you trying to paint flowers or -"
Words dying in a strangled yelp, a horribly undignified squawk and loud thump filled the room as Elsi went tumbling down from the unexpected attack. Legs bent and sprawled out in front of him one hand held the thrown pillow against his chest from where he'd clutched it in surprise. His free hand the only thing propping him up as he stared down at the pillow with a twisted look of surprise. Looking up at her words he gave her direction a withering look at the challenge, standing up with pillow in hand and twisting his bag over and off his head to put down in a corner.
Expression melting into one of calm as he finished he finally peered back towards the Hufflepuff, face betraying nothing but a blank look of calm as he bent to pick up a blanket from one of the piles to dangle in the elbow of his left arm. Pillow hanging loosely in his right hand as he spoke again.
"You realize this means war."
She must have. Which meant there was no other way forward now but revenge now. It was a matter of life and death now, peace obviously was never an option with someone as mad as her.
"It's because I chose Neverland isn't it? Wonderland vs Neverland." he began to inch forward as he spoke, voice amused but level as if simply talking with Logan about something that happened at school and not as if she'd just betrayed him viscously and unprovoked.
Stopping in front of her box hide away the calm amusement turned into a sharp grin, feet suddenly pounding against the floor as he rushed to the left side with a burst of speed that didn't match the usual listlessness that defined Elsi. At the last moment when he'd just about turned around the left corner he threw the blanket he'd tucked against his arm over her head like a makeshift net from behind before quickly twisting on his heel and rushing around the right side to block her off with a smack of the pillow against her side as the blanket swamped her.
"Peace was never an option!" he crowed, taking a step back to throw the pillow at her point blank as she struggled with the blanket to make a swift retreat to the stack of 'ammunition' so wonderfully stocked together in the room.
Swooping down to grab two pillows, one in either hand he twirled to brandish one at Logan like a sword. His left hand posed at his hip like a captain or commander as he stood before the blankets and pillows. "Neverland will never surrender to the madness of Wonderland!"

@Elsian Cox"Wonderland will always win" Logan laughed as Elsian started to make his way towards her. She went to run only to scream when a blanket was tossed over her head, successfully trapping her. At this point the Hufflepuff was on the floor laughing as she attempted to get the blanket off of her. It only took her a few seconds to achieve that.
Launching up Logan took off towards the complete opposite side of the room where her own pile of pillows and blankets rested from the last time she was up here. She quickly dove behind a box and rolled to a stop with a grin on her face as she grabbed one of the slingshots from on the floor. What Elsian didn't know was that Logan had a stash of stress balls on her side of the room. Quickly she shot a stress ball at the Gryffindor as she quickly dropped down behind the box again.
"Are you ready to give up yet Neverland?" Logan called out as she glanced over her box towards one of her closest friends. Logan had the advantage of the sling shot on her side of the room, but on Elsian's side he had everything for both twins meaning he had twice as much ammunition to throw at the little Hufflepuff.

"As if," he scoffed, waving the pillow in her direction as if in debate, "what? Are ya gonna throw tea at me?" he taunted bringing up a pillow to his face and pitching his voice in mock distress, "Oh no, tea! I'm so scare-" He squawked in surprise, words cut off as the stress ball was shot at him in air warfare. He barely had the thing miss him, falling to the floor as he twisted sideways out of the things path.
Twisting on the ground he scrambled to throw himself behind the pile of pillows and blankets on his side. Pushing some of the blankets forward to make the pile high enough for him to comfortably crouch behind he peeked out towards Logan, holding up the stress ball that's been slung at him for her to see before dropping it next to a pile of pillows. "This is mine now," he sneered playfully, "go ahead, shoot! Give me more ammo, I dare you!"
Disappearing behind his protection he rested a pillow on his arm before snatching one of the tinier sheets. Slipping the sheet over his arm atop the pillow he wrapped both the pillow and his arm. Making a makeshift shield. Testing it a bit he grinned when the sheet didn't unravel, figuring it wouldn't come undone unless he wanted it to.
Feeling a bit more confident against the stress balls he grabbed a pillow in his free hand to use as a weapon. Standing up he brandished it forward, bringing up he left arm which had the makeshift shield up as if a knight.
"Neverland will never surrender," he crowed dramatically, "We perish before giving in to the likes of your madness!"

@Elsian Cox"You will surrender no matter what!" Logan yelled out as she grabbed another stress ball and shot it at him. "We are not the only mad ones!"
What Logan hadn't noticed as she was yelling at Elsian was the fact that her aunt had walked into the room. The door leading out to the hallway on the third floor was behind Logan though, so she wasn't paying attention in the first place. What caught her attention was when someone started talking behind her.
"What in the world is going on in here?"
Screaming was her first response to the sudden talking. Before she even launched the next stress ball she tripped over a blanket and landed on the floor with a thud. "Aunt Hannah!" the Hufflepuff squeaked out in panic as she noticed her aunt standing behind her at the door to the large, dusty room. "I swear we weren't trying to kill each other."
Her aunt had a grin on her face at the sight of her niece laying on the floor with blankets everywhere. "Lunch is ready, clean up this mess and get down there," she laughed as she quickly turned around and walked out of the room.
Logan quickly looked at Elsian as the door closed and immediately started to laugh. Apparently they had been up there for longer than they had thought or they finished lunch early. "We should probably listen to her. We can finish the tour in here after lunch before heading out to the horses." Slowly the Hufflepuff stood off the floor and duster herself off as she picked up the blanket she tripped over and started to fold it.
"I call a truce for the time being Neverland, but watch your back."

Just as the other shot another stress ball at Elsian threw his own ammo in the shape of one plush pillow. Aiming for the other girls side his aim was thrown off by her aunt appearing like magic, body jolting in surprise at Logan's scream he slipped slightly, letting go of the pillow too early and sending it to the floor.
The floor which would have easily been a miss had the Hufflepuff not slipped and fell just as he sent the pillow on a downward journey. Instead of harmlessly bouncing off the floor though it felt almost slow motion as the pillow wacked into the side of Logan's face just as she claimed they weren’t trying to kill each other.
Instantly he covered his mouth, covering up a grin and the laughter begging to be free. Simply nodding in agreement with Logan's words despite the fact he’d just whapped her in the face before the woman's very eyes. There was a moment of silence when she left, eyes locking on Logan's own before he was doubled over laughing.
Slowly the laughter dwindled into giggles, breathing a bit more heavy and sides somewhat achy from it all and he found himself rubbing his cheek, a bit sore from how much he’d been smiling for so long. Extremely surprising since it felt like they’d just gotten up here not too long ago!
Nodding he began to pick up the pillows on the floor from their brutal fight, brushing briefly past Logan to put them back in the pile. “How long have we been here?” he wondered, eyeing the pile of pillows and blankets, “It doesn’t feel like we’ve even been here half an hour…”
Eyes focused on the pillow he’d been about to stack, he paused, twisting on his heels to wander over to Logan's side and hold out a hand with a small smile, “Truce then.”
