Henr smiled at the newcomer who introduced himself as Elias and guessing from what Miranda just said he must have been muggle born, not that Henry care. Henry shook Elias hand as he spoke " it's nice to meet you Elias, I'm Henry and don't worry plenty of people get lost the first time or so they come to diagon alley." Before Henry could say anything more, his best friend who was also a slytherin; Charles Simmons burst thought in the door and sort of did his usual awkward rambling when he was nervous.
Henry smiled a bit at his friend and waved at the only other opened seat for him to take before saying " your not a idiot Charles. Your just a but nervous like the rest of us," Henry paused as he winked at his friend then continued to speak" Charles here is a really cool person and a great energy to be around, once you get to know him. So don't let him being a dhampir worry you, I could just be biased since my two best friends are damphirs and one of them being Charles." Henry finished then thought he should add something else since Elias was muggle born, Henry spoke quickly " also Elias like the others I'm also pure blood, but don't worry either me, my siblings, or parents share my ancestors views on muggles or muggles borns. We see them as equals, since you seem a bit nervous, Elias."

She knew that lots of people were ashamed of being something other than human, and while Miranda didn't enjoy some of the prejudice she had to go through, it was still nice to be something other than ordinary. Therefor, she didn't bother hiding her true nature, although she never really mentioned it often.
"And Elias," she added, preparing to answer his question about Knockturn Alley. "Not everything is as simple as it might seem around here. If someone wants something hidden, it takes a lot of digging to bring it into the light. And besides, there's no concrete proof that anything there is "truly" dark. Lots of things might seem like it, but according to Ministry regulations, not much is illegal. And the stuff that really is bad is kept hidden and only shown to select wizards, usually the richer pure-blood families." She winced at those words, and how they portrayed most pure-bloods. Not all of them were bad, there were just some that were, and then many muggle-borns and half-bloods instantly thought most pure-bloods are stuck-up snobs.

Hearing both of his friends admit what he thought was a secret, decided to say his own and also had a idea that might be a lot more fun than studying. Henry closed the book that he was reading and placed it on the top of his pile before saying " I'm also werewolf, and Elias before you think anything. Werewolves aren't the same as muggles describe them, first off were not violent or different from you. Were the same, and we can keep our mind if we, uh drink a certain potion. Also we don't die if we get shot with a solve bullet that's just a muggle myth." Henry paused before continuing to explain the wizarding world to the young boy " also a dhampir is a person who either was bitten by a vampire or who's parent was bitten by a vampire and they inherited their genes. But they to aren't the same as the muggle myths first most dhampir's aren't violet or mean either and they won't suck your blood to, besides from being sensitive to light they aren't like how muggles think." Henry paused again as he took a breath and thought a little before he spoke again " also people get away with almost anything unless your really wanted or do something horrid that goes public

"Actually, I'm pretty sure I'd die if someone decided to shoot me with a silver bullet," Miranda interjected teasingly. "Wouldn't anyone? It's kind of like the myth about vampires and wooden stakes. I mean, anyone could die if someone decided to, ah, shove a pointy piece of wood through their heart." She shook her head, still smiling. "They're just things muggles say to make them feel like they actually have a chance against us, because over time their myths have become so bloated that all supernatural creatures are instantly all-powerful. She shot a grin at Elias, although she was secretly wondering whether he'd hate her for note telling him her true nature earlier. It wasn't really the first thing she told most people when she met them, unless they too were supernatural creatures like her. And other times it often slipped her mind completely.
Miranda glanced over at Henry as he made his suggestion about them teaching each other things, and she nodded quickly. "That sounds like a brilliant idea. You wouldn't believe some of the weird things muggles can come up with! Elias showed me some of them the last time we spoke, and it's..." She paused and glanced over at the muggle-born boy, then decided to let him tell the others himself. "Really cool."

Elias' eyes went wider and wider as the truth about werewolves and vampires was reveled. He just stared between the three for a long moment. Probably too long as Elias tried to form words. So many thoughts and feelings were swirling around. But all of them led to what came out of his mouth, "That. is. so cool!" Elias shouted probably a bit too loud. "Vampires? Werewolves? Real? That is absolutely amazing! I never thought in a million years that- Well, I guess I could believe it now. But how werewolves and vampires aren't all evil and blood thirsty is just blowing my mind!"
This rant would continue for another minute or two before he finally realized the others were waiting for an answer. He blushed slightly as he realized he was now standing and his arms were tense with excitement. Elias cleared his throat, sat down and took on a more civil tone, "Um, yeah. That uh, that sounds like a great idea. I can completely agree to this. Sounds a lot more fun than reading some dusty old books anyway," He let out a chuckle which quickly slowed as he realized he's talking to people who probably love books more than most things."
"So, uh," Elias began, trying to keep the air from being too awkward. "You guys just revealed something that freaked me out. Any questions you have for me?"

Henry sat patiently as the young boy started his rant on werewolves and vampires, besides from a few parts where he tensed up a bit or cleared his throat at the wrongongly of how muggles thought, really they think that all werewolves and vampires are evil and bloodthirsty, most muggles probably haven't even one. Tall about being biased against most, Henry kept a friendly smiled on as he waited for Elias to get over his rant, which as soon as he did Elias then agreed with his idea and ask if they had any questions about the muggle world.
Henry had to think about that for a while since while him, his siblings, and father had no problem with muggles and treated them as equals that didn't mean they knew a lot of muggle lifestyle. Besides from the basics of cooking, cleaning, and healing which him and his siblings learned when they were younger since their father was almost always away on ministry business. What should I ask, what is there to ask. There should be so many questions I have but I don't know where to begin or what to ask, uh.... this is harder than I though, Henry smiled at Elias as he said " do you have any questions for us, Elias about the wizarding world," Henry then paused a minute or two before he continued to speak " because if not then we can give a overall tell of the wizarding world and you can do the same with the muggle world or say the best parts of it."

"Uh, yeah, right sorry." Elias said as he scratched his head, "Got a bit too excited there. Finding out that all of this is real is just so awesome, I can hardly even stand it!" He took some time to think, so many questions were swirling around in his mind. Maybe it would be best to just get an overall recap of everything. Instead of just spending hours getting small bits of specific information. Eventually, he would nod his head and say, "Yeah, that might be a good idea. We can give each other an overall description and we can ask specific questions on whatever happens to be brought up. With questions I just have no idea where to begin."
Elias closed his eyes and did his best to push all of his distracting thoughts from his head. After a few deep breaths he continued, "Alright, you guys can start and I'll go second. Since there are three of you and one of me, instead of all the info at once, we can just go back and for with general information. That way none of us are overwhelmed with giving and receiving information." Elias began to dig through his bag and pulled out a notebook, the small sketches still on the corners of each page. "Alright, do you guys want to start, or should I?"

Hearing the boy's answer, Henry smiled and looked toward his friends to see if they would respond instead of him because while he knew how to tell Elias about the wizarding world, he didn't quite know where to begin. As he waited for someone to speak, he thought for a second that maybe he should start since he was less nervous and panicked since last year and his courage as well as social skills grew from last year because of his first year at hogwarts. As Henry waited for someone else to respond he took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair as he thought to himself, Elias is a first year and you already know Miranda and Charles so your not too nervous or worried about missing up so what is the worst that could happen.
As Henry smiled a bit and took another deep breath before he opened his mouth and begun to speak " I guess while start, uh so Elias I guess what you should know is that while wizards and muggles live in the same world physically, it's still more like they live in different ones. Besides from muggle borns, most wizards and witches hide our world and magical from muggles because of the statue of secretly which in turn makes, mostly pure bloods confused or lost when it comes to muggles and there life. Half bloods are probably the only ones in the magical who knows both sides of the world, magical and muggle. Uh you should also know that there has been around only a few wizarding wars that you should know, not all them just a few, like the battle of hogwarts for example or the first wizarding war. Then there's also a few people you should know like you know who, the boy who lived, headmaster Dumbledore, and a few others as well as just hogwarts and the ministry," Henry paused to think for a couple minutes then spoke again " I think I will let Charles and Miranda tell you about them or maybe you could tell us about the muggle world now?"

Charles stood there and looked at his hand. He was't paying attention to any of the conversation. He just stood there looking at his hand. He was amazed that they where fine with him being a damper. But for some reason he still wanted to run away. To run to the nearest pot of chimney, and run to the nearest chimney. And use the flow powder to head back to his home. They where fine with hims being a dhapmir so why was it he still felt like somebody hated that he was a dhampir. Why did he just want to run away from this searing hate like normal.Interating with @Elias Kennedy,@Henry Knight, and @Miranda Everest
He needed to know who was lying, who actually hated him for being this monster. Charles sighed, as he thought. Why would somebody lie to him, was it Henry? And if it was why did he lie for so long? But then Charles realised that none of them where lying. Only a single person was lying, and they lied to him ever since he was bitten. And it wasn't any of them or anybody around them. Charles lied to himself for so long. Thinking that he was just a monster that people would either be around or would never be around.
Charles shook his head in anger. "Why am I so stupid! UGHHH WHY DID I NEVER REALIZE IT! I HAVE TO GO!" With that Charles ran out of the store. And ran he just ran pushing people out of his way.Thread LeftSorry for the late response, it was intended to make what was written in this message more believable. And sorry to cut your time to get to know Charles better but, it was intended that Charles still hadn't got over the fact that he was a dhampir, a monster in his eyes. And since he was bitten Charles didn't trust anybody to understand what he felt, to go from being a human to a monster. Thats why I'm making it so that the friends can't help him work through this. This was something I intend for Charles to work through himself. And there no better time to do that then the present.

"Why am I so stupid! UGHHH WHY DID I NEVER REALIZE IT! I HAVE TO GO!" Henry heard Charles say then he watched him run out the store and away from the group, Henry watched as his friend ran from the store after shouting something that made Henry feel sad for him, as he wonder if he did anything wrong to hurt his friend as he ran after Charles. He pushed the bookstore door and opened and ran out to the street as he scanned his neck looking for Charles, as he shouted " Charles, Charles wait come back! Your not stupid, please come back Charle!" Henry looked around as he stop shouting and his face fell, someone who he considered his best friend just ran away from him and the others for no apparent reason. Did I do something to offend or hurt him? Why would he run, does he blame me or the others for something? Ugh... why can't I be social person, why can't I help my friends before it's too late, before they run. Henry stood there on the street still looking at where he thinks Charles ran, as he whisper to himself " I'm sorry Charles, your not stupid. I hope your ok." Charles went back inside in the bookstore and retook his seat as he looked at the other two and spoke "I'm sorry about what happen, I don't really know what happen. I just hope he's ok."
