A lovely opportunity
Henry smiled at her and placed his advanced spell book on his bag then turned to Allie and spoke softly " It's not against the rules to tutor it teach you the theory and spell just not practice casting. And to answer you question I do mind the rules and try my best to follow them, just because of a slytherin don't assume I don't follow the rules or mind them because I'm not like other slytherins that you will meet- but while I mind the rules, I still sometimes bend them but not break them. Why break a rule and risk punishment when you can bend a rule and still have fun and avoid punishment that's probably how I get into a lot of mischief without anyone knowing. Uh now that I think of it that's probably why I'm a slytherin."
Henry looked at Allie and smiled before he places his advanced spell book back inside his messager type bag then took his wand out from his pocket inside his jacket as he stood then looked down at Allie and spoke " And that's what were going to do bend the rules. I'm going to teach you some advanced spells but were not going to break any rules. So if you may get your wand out and do you have any specific spells that you'll like to learn?"

A lovely opportunity
Allie watched as Henry put down his Advanced Spell Book on his bag and listened as he explained that it was perfectly fine for him to tutor her on the spells, since that was "bending" the rules instead of breaking them. She bit her lip when he mentioned that just because he was a Slytherin didn't mean he didn't follow the rules. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that," she tried to explain. "I've just seen a lot of people who don't seem to mind as much about them as I do. . . although I do mind them quite a lot." she tried for a small smile and waited, hoping he wasn't upset with her. Luckily, he continued quickly.

"I can see that," she said with a smile in his direction. She was still a tiny - okay, fine, really worried about breaking the rules, but she decided to trust Henry and pulled out her wand, standing up so she was face to face with him.
"And that's what were going to do bend the rules. I'm going to teach you some advanced spells but we're not going to break any rules. So if you may get your wand out and do you have any specific spells that you'll like to learn?" Allie paused for a few seconds, contemplating which ones she wanted to learn first.
"Well, I'm not really sure. . . whichever ones you would like to teach me are fine." she finally replied, shrugging. It was true, there were just so MANY that she wanted to learn! She would be happy as long as he taught her one spell, to be honest. Although she was learning many in her classes, it was different to have another, older student teach them instead.

Henry smiled at her answered then took a position next to her as he spoke " alright, then what about we start with Arresto Momentum, which slows your target down," Henry paused then pointed his wand at the lake and did the moment for Arresto Momentum before continuing" Try to copy the movement I'm doing with my wand, don't say the spell because we don't want to break any rules.. just trace the movement with your wand." Henry chuckled a bit then turned to watch Allie try the movement, Henry watched as he then spoke " Once you do that try saying, Arresto... Momentum, making sure to produce it accurately and correctly."
Henry paused for a few minutes to give her a chance to say it before he continued " then pointed your wand at the lake and trace the movement that I show you while saying Arresto Momentum, but make sure you keep your wand at the lake so you don't affect anything and no one would know that you actually cast the spell," Henry paused then smiled a bit as he spoke again " if you want to actually cast the spell then later on go to the charms classroom and ask the professor if your casting it right, then cast it in front if him which again isn't breaking the rules. If you do, do that then make sure to bring up my name that I tutor you so I get some credit and maybe a advanced lesson or two with the professor."

A lovely opportunity
Allie nodded in agreement to the spell Henry had chosen. She had read about the spell before, but she had never actually tried performing it because she hadn't had permission. After watching Henry show her the movement part of the spell, Allie tried it herself, mimicking the way Henry had swished his wand in the air.
Once she was satisfied that she had gotten it right, Allie let her had drop back down to her side and turned back to the Slytherin, who then taught her how to say the incantation, which Allie practiced it a couple times, trying to get the sound right. When she was finally done with all that, she put them both together and pointed her wand at the lake.
At first, it seemed like nothing had happened, but then Allie noticed a faint ripple in the air. Nothing much, and not enough to alert anyone what she had done. Giving Henry a grin, Allie slipped her wand back in her pocket, saying, "Thank you!" to the boy.
The temperature had dropped a few degrees, and Allie glanced at the sun's position in the sky. It was almost halfway to it's highest point, so Allie turned to Henry. "Lunch is soon, we should probably get going." Picking up her bag from where it was lying on the ground next to Henry's, Allie slung it quickly over her shoulder and motioned for him to follow her back up to the castle.

Henry smiled then saw the sky getting darker too and remember he had to meet Cricket and Charles for a study session, I hope they don't mind if I'm a bit late, Henry pit his wand back inside his pocket then pick up his messager type bag and pulled the scrap over his shoulder as he turned to Allie and spoke quickly "it was nice meeting you and hopefully we'll meet again but I have to go
I promise some friends that we'll do a study session together so bye." Henry waves bye to her then ran off past the tree and the less dense crowd of students, as he carefully stepped past he glanced back toward the lake and the oak tree but couldn't really see it or Allie so he turned back and started to race up the ground and back toward the castle not wanting to be late or making his two best friends wait for him. As he reach the entrance he was nearly out of breath as he took a short break before racing inside the castle and toward the library to his two best friends, hopefully their not too mad that I'm a bit late.
