Interacting with @Violet Tyler, @Callista Lovis and @Matrix Kaida. One of the girls shook Lucia's hand and introduced herself as Violet, and the other as Callista - both very pretty names, Lucia thought.
Then another voice came from behind the door which made both Briar and Lucia jump. "Merlin, I-" Lucia started, but the voice spoke over her, introducing its owner as Matrix.
Briar closed the door behind them and said to Matrix, "Sorry, didn't see you there."
Then Violet told the sisters that they could sit wherever they want, and Briar smiled at her. "Thanks," both sisters said at the same time - Lucia whispered "Jinx" to Briar but she didn't seem to have heard - and Briar proceeded to lug her trunk to a corner seat near the window and take out from a pocket two books - Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz and a book of crosswords with a purple cover - and a muggle pen.
Then, Lucia watched with barely disguised amusement as her sister tried - and utterly failed - to lift her trunk onto the luggage rack. Briar turned to Lucia, saw her suppressed giggles, and grumbled, "A little help?"
Lucia clamped her mouth shut to stop any more giggles from escaping and looked pointedly at her non-existant muscles. "I don't think I'm really the best person to ask," she said truthfully, but then seemed to have an idea and pulled off her jumper (revealing her Hufflepuff crest) in order to rifle through the pockets of it. Speaking to no-one in general, she asked, "Hey, do you think the Express counts as part of Hogwarts or not?" Then she added, "I could always levitate them up."
Lucia didn't want to ask anyone else for help, and anyway - both of the girls' trunks were quite large and it was unlikely they would be able to lift them on their own.

Both girls would jump in surprise and Matrix would break into a small smile. “Sorry if I scared you”
Briar would ask Lucia to help her with her trunk. But she would refuse, saying that she was not the right person for the job. Matrix would stand up and walk over to Briar.”I can try” Matrix would say attempting to pull the trunk up. He would barely lift it. Matrix would shake his head, and put both his hands under it and lift it up barely. But Matrix smiled with confidence, and began pushing it up. “Almost there!” Matrix would say pulling his hands all the way up. The suitcase would barely touch the luggage rack. He would then slide his hands to the side of the trunk that was still exposed, and would push it. It would get into the luggage rack. He would sigh and turn towards Lucia. “Hey want me to do yours?” He would ask before realizing that she was wearing a Hufflepuff robe. “Oh.....she is a second year.....” Matrix would think. “Or you could probably just levitate it up or something.” Matrix would say grinning at this brilliant, original, idea. Matrix would not have heard her previous question.

Hey, I know this thread has been a little inactive recently. I wasn’t sure if I should post or not, so I think maybe we could set up an order, so we know when we should post a reply. Of course, if you guys don’t want to do that, we can just keep going with the way things are now, seeing as an order is usually used in private threads, and not open threads like this one. Oh, and, sorry for the long wait for a reply!

The boy, similar to Violet, simply took what seemed to be a random seat and did not need her to stand up at all. Callista blushed a little again, embarrassed. “I am Ma—” the boy had began, but he was cut off by the opening of the compartment door, when Lucia and Briar Fox had entered. The boy introduced himself as Matrix, an interesting name in Callista’s opinion. The younger sister, Briar, took out two books, which, on closer inspection proved to be a novel titled Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz, and a purple-covered book of crosswords. She also took out a pen, which Callista assumed was to be used to work on the crosswords. Then she attempted to heave her luggage onto the rack, but she wasn’t quite strong enough to do it herself.Interacting with: @Violet Tyler @Lucia Fox @Matrix Kaida
“A little help?” the girl grumbled at her older sister. Lucia, however, responded that she didn’t think she was the right person for the job. Callista looked at Lucia tentatively and realized that she was probably right. None of them were very strongly built, built she guessed that if two people (one of which could be Briar) tried together, they could manage it. However, before Callista could say anything, Matrix offered to help.
He was barely able to lift the luggage onto the rack. Callista noticed that at the same time, Lucia had taken off her sweater to reveal Hufflepuff-crested robes. Interesting, Callista thought. She didn’t think she would get placed in Hufflepuff, but she could be wrong. Lucia seemed to be rummaging through the pockets of her sweater. Matrix didn’t seem to notice Lucia looking for something - Callista assumed a wand, and Lucia didn’t seem to notice Matrix helping to lift the luggage. Callista felt strangely like a detached spectator.
“Hey, do you think the Hogwarts Express counts as part of Hogwarts or not?” Lucia asked. Callista pondered this and decided that it wasn’t. The train was simply a means of set transportation to Hogwarts, and not actually part of the school. “I could always levitate them up,” the older girl added. Callista glanced to see how Matrix was doing and found that he had actually, surprisingly, managed to get the trunk up.
“Or you could probably just levitate it up or something,” Matrix commented after the task was accomplished, grinning. He seemed not to have heard what Lucia had said.
Callista realized she was shaking her head slightly and, clearing her throat a little, she replied to Lucia, “No, I don’t think the Hogwarts Expresss counts as part of Hogwarts... It’s, um, it’s simply a means of set transportation to Hogwarts, and not actually part of the school.” She had been hesitant at first to speak, but as always, she loved to prove her point, and gained confidence as she explained her idea.

I was pretty sure Lucia was just talking to herself when she asked about the train being apart of Hogwarts. At least it didn't seem to be directed at anyone in particular and she was already getting out her wand looking ready to cast the spell when Callista piped up and replied shaking her head in a thoughtful manner "No, I don’t think the Hogwarts Express counts as part of Hogwarts. It’s, um, it’s simply a means of set transportation to Hogwarts, and not actually part of the school.” She says to the older girl.
I guessed the Callista was right too, it was just a means of transportation but I was pretty sure we could use magic on the way to Hogwarts, couldn't we? Or was that in some sort of rulebook I hadn´t had the time to read yet? Although I was the one newest to this whole thing and was probably least qualified to have I didn't want to get in trouble for breaking some sort of rule before even my first day even if it was on accident.
"Yeah, I don't think its part of Hogwarts. Um, maybe to be safe we should just not levitate the suitcase?" I tell the older girl hoping she doesn't find me annoying. "I could try to help you lift it up?" I say awkwardly I wasn't sure if that would be any better then them lifting the bags themselves but I was sure if we both lifted it up we could get it into the rack soon enough. So, nervously I stand up then look over at Lucia for a reply.

According to a mod, Lucia can use magic on the Express, but it's not encouraged.Post order as discussed:

MatrixThe boy named Matrix managed to heave Briar's trunk up onto the rack, and Briar stood back as he did so as if afraid he'd drop it on her head. As soon as the trunk had left his grip, Briar relaxed. "Thanks," she said, her tone betraying how impressed she was that he'd managed to do it.
Matrix offered to get Lucia's up as well, but Lucia doubted he could do it on his own, seeing as he'd only just managed Briar's and Lucia's was even heavier. Maybe she could help... But no. Lucia would likely be more of a hindrance than a help.
After everyone had given their verdict on the spell situation, as Lucia had inwardly decided to call it, (Matrix passing the idea off as his own and earning an eye-roll from Briar) the eldest occupant of the compartment looked over to her younger sister for her opinion.
Lucia didn't often like getting advice from her sisters - she was oldest, after all - but had to admit that in times like these, it was Briar Fox who was the most likely to have read the rulebook.
Briar herself shrugged. "I mean, there's nothing anywhere that says it isn't," she pointed out. "And there are teachers on board. I don't think you have anything to worry about."
Lucia nodded. "Right..."
After a beat, she seemed to make up her mind and shrugged. "Might as well," she decided, then added quickly, "None of you'd get in trouble anyway, even if we're not supposed to."
As she said all of this, she took out (from a zipped pocket on the front of the trunk) a book (The House With Chicken Legs by Sophie Anderson, a bookmark tucked into the back), a quill, parchment and capped bottle of black ink.
After she had re-zipped the pocket, Lucia readied her wand, and with the accompanying 'Swish and Flick' motion said calmly, "Wingardium Leviosa!"
The trunk jerked upwards, and Lucia deposited it on the rack next to her sister's case before letting her wand fall and assuming a rather satisfied expression.
As she stowed her wand back in her pocket, Briar flew to the window and stuck her head out, laughing as the wind played with her hair. After a few seconds, she called, "You're clear!" and popped her head back into the compartment.

Briar would give Matrix an eyeroll when he suggested for her to use a spell. He would be genuinely confused on why he had received an eye roll. Perhaps it was common knowledge that magic was not allowed on the train.m, but he doubted that. This train came from a magical place to go to another magical place. There was no way that magic was banned on the train. Of course, the school may have placed safety measures. Suddenly it came to him that the idea he had suggested may already have been mentioned before. He remembered that he had heard a voice inside his head tell him the idea. It was probably not a conscience but an actual person. Matrix would blush at his stupidity. Now the group must have thought that he was not a smart kid and was kind of slow. He had ruined his first impression. Matrix was not the smartest kid, but he definitely made an effort to stand out in a good way. But by the way things are going right now, he may achieve the opposite. Though it was to soon to say.
Matrix would take a few steps back to his seat. Lucia would take out her wand and a book. She seemed to be reading it a little before she said something that sounded like “Wingardum Leviousa” or something like that. Whatever she said, it seemed to work as the suitcase seemed to float upwards. Matrix would smile, all his previous embarrassment seeming to go away. It was so cool to see someone cast a spell, especially someone his age. Magic had a special charm about it. “Wow” Matrix would say quietly. He would usually be the type of person to say more or start a new conversation, but he did not want to somehow embarrass himself more.

Callista had not realized that the reason Lucia had asked if the Hogwarts Express was a part of Hogwarts or not was because she was planning to use magic and wasn't sure if that was allowed. She had thought that it was just a question, but of course Lucia had not been just pondering about something random, unlike her sometimes.
"Yeah, I don't think its part of Hogwarts," Violet agreed. "Um, maybe to be safe we should just not levitate the suitcase? I could try to help you lift it up?" That was, of course, when Lucia's intentions had kicked in. She was not usually slow to the point, but somehow the way the question was presented had given Callista the the wrong idea. Violet didn't seem to be as capable of lifting the trunk as anyone else, but Callista smiled at how Violet had offered. It wouldn't matter soon anyway, as Lucia and Briar soon came to a conclusion of their own.
"I mean, there's nothing anywhere that says it isn't," Briar pointed out. "And there are teachers on board. I don't think you have anything to worry about." What Briar said was true, Callista had read all the books she had on Hogwarts, but there wasn't much detail on whether or not you could use magic on the train. She was pretty sure that the prefects were supposed to stop the students from using magic on the train, but it wasn't regulated that much because the main concern with using magic outside of school is underage magic because it could alert non-magic people - Muggles, Callista still hadn't gotten used to using that word - of magic.
Lucia used took out a few things from her baggage and said, "Wingardium Leviosa!", with a swish and flick of her wand. Callista stared at this with keen interest and wonder. She still hadn't quite gotten used to seeing magic, although she had read up on it before the train ride.
Matrix seemed to feel the same way because he let out a "wow" as Lucia lifted the trunk easily. The boy probably felt embarrassed for having suggested something that had already been said. Callista smiled a bit at the boy sitting across from her.
"Um, feel free to take a seat," Callista told Briar and Lucia. The train was bound to be leaving soon. Callista wondered briefly when she should change into her robes, then quickly dismissed the thought, thinking, It's way too early for that.
Dream, I have the book that Lucia got out of her trunk! I don't think I finished it though...

MatrixLucia blushed when the boy - Matrix, got to remember everyone's names - breathed a single word - wow.
Briar, on the other hand, just gave him another half eye roll. "It's just a levitation spell, nothing too amazing!" she said matter of factly. "Haven't you seen one before?" Briar added, causing her sister to realise something.
"Bree!" the Hufflepuff hissed. "He might be a-" There was no need to finish the sentence, because Briar understood.
"Oh. Yeah," she said, although she didn't sound very apologetic. Then, Briar turned to Lucia. "Although, admittedly, that was pretty smooth. You should join the duelling team," she told her sister, who just snorted.
"Me? Duelling team? As if," the eldest Fox sibling said, squashing Briar's words immediately. "But thanks, I guess."
Callista - if Lucia had remembered her name right - offered seats to the sisters.
Briar immediately slid into a seat by the window, with a quick, "Right, thanks."
Lucia followed, but she took a seat on the opposite side to her sister, and next to the door. A whistle told her that the train was departing, and she held onto the table in the centre of the compartment. After taking a few seconds to regain her balance, Lucia checked how Briar was doing. The first-year was clutching the table tightly, and Lucia hoped she had remembered to take her travel pills. "The trolley lady'll be round soon," she told everyone, hoping to start a conversation which her sister would hopefully get involved in.

Briar would give Matrix an eye roll, asking if he had never seen it before. “O-of course I have!” Matrix would say slightly embarrassed. It was probably not very common to be surprised at other people’s magic. Matrix would keep a mental note of that. He wondered why, if his theory was right. Was it because of individual pride? Maybe he was supposed to accept another individual’s magical level. He would hear Lucia warn Briar that he may be a —. He did not quite know what Lucia was describing, as she stopped talking before she finished. “Huh?” Matrix would say, slightly confused, pondering what she could of meant. Perhaps a squib? He heard about them, people born in a magical family without any magic. It could not have been that, because then that would mean that he was exposed to magic. The other option was a muggle-born. Yes, this seemed likely. “If you mean, a muggle-born, then no, I am not.” He would say politely with a smile. He knew of another term for it, mudblood, or something. His dad had told him that that was a curse word, and extremely disrespectful, so he decided to not say it. Plus, if anyone here was a muggle- born, they might take serious offense from it. He was here to make friends, not enemies.
He would hear Briar tell Lucia to join the dueling team. He saw that Lucia was indeed good with magic, but he wondered if she knew any dueling spells. Matrix would reach into his bag and pull out a few coins for some snacks from the trolley lady.

Callista felt bad for Matrix, so she added quietly, "I haven't," Matrix informed them that he was not a Muggleborn, but he didn't seem to have encountered or seen magic before. Cocking her head slightly, she asked curiously, "What is- er, were your parents witches and wizards then?" The official term was blood status, but that sounded weird. Personally, Callista thought that the word "Muggle" was quite weird, but she didn't comment on that.
Dueling team? Callista thought. Right, of course, there would a dueling team at Hogwarts... She was excited to learn spells, of course, but she didn't really think she was cut out for a dueling team. Hearing the mention of a trolley lady, Callista noticed Matrix reaching into his pocket for coins. Magic terms make no sense... she thought. Even the currency was different.
In an attempt to get a conversation going, Callista asked shyly, "What's your favorite sweet?" She didn't eat that many sweets, but she was sure that wizard candy was much different from ordinary candy - or "Muggle candy", she supposed. She slipped her hand into her jacket pocket and fingered the coins that she had converted from ordinary money.
So sorry for the delay guys!
