She had been listening to him as she worked on her sketch, she looking up at him once he went silent. He had closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the tree, she quickly looked back down at her sketchbook when she realized it might be awkward. "I d...don't really ch...choose to b...be alone," she said quietly, getting a few more of her colored pencils out from her pencil case.

She regretted saying it as soon as she had said it looking down, her hair covering her face. It was true though, she didn't choose to be alone, people just stayed away from her. She had quickly gotten used to it but that didn't mean she wished for friends. Some of it may be her own fault, she did tend to stay away from people due to past experiences. Even if they did seem like nice people, if they were in groups or with other people she stayed away not wanting to interrupt or bring her rain cloud over their sunshine.

She leaned back against the tree and looked at her finished picture. She smiled slightly, her parents had never judged her and they were the only people who had ever really cared about her. She couldn't imagine what her life would have been like when if they hadn't adopted her.

''You know- I usually choose to be alone- I kind of- dislike people- At times at least, and it depends quite a lot on who the person is-'' He'd look around. ''That said- I think you're a nice person- I know we haven't talked that much just yet- But I can feel it- you are different-'' Even with his stuttering, and shaky hands, he has a very confident tone.

''You surely grew with a nice family-'' His voice became slightly quieter, as he looked at his shaky hand. ''Anyway- I just wanted to say you draw pretty nicely-''.

His smile would fade for a few seconds, this topic seemed to bother him, since he really did not have a very friendly relation with his family, except for his aunt, who he actually really loves, she had always been kind and actually, everyone liked her. He'd try to hold his smile, as he turned back to her, trying to not show how bad he felt. ''Anyway- What- should we talk about now or- you know- we can just stay quiet, as you rest-''.

He'd look away once more, playing with his thumbs, trying to remain calm, even though it was extremely hard.

He complimented her drawing and said how she must have surely grew up with a nice family. She looked away, not sure she should talk about her parents, most people found it weird that she had two dads. She looked at him and saw he was deep in thought, he snapped out of it though and looked back at her, smiling slightly as he asked what they should talk about now or they could just stay quiet. He thought for a second, not sure what to talk about when she got an idea.

"D...Do you draw or do any...anything artistic," she asked him, closing her sketchbook and looking at him. "M...My dad taught me h...how to draw, he runs a sm...small art shop in Lon...London, he u...usually runs it by hi...himself but my fa..." she caught herself before she said anything. "Um...," she looked away, the thing she didn't want to slip almost slipped, "n...never mind." She played with a strand of her hair. She always ruined things, or messed things up, why was she like this. She waited for him to answer her original question as she flipped through the pages of her sketchbook, hoping she hadn't made things to awkward.

''Well-'' Aldor thought ''Not specifically drawing- but I suppose poetry can be considered an art-''.

He'd look around and sighed, as he recovered his composture and looked back at her. ''I'm only good at baking-'' He'd smile slightly, as a few good memories came to him. ''I grew up with my aunt- She was- kind of a weird person- she was extremly talented in poetry- and I believe she even won a prize or something like that- but even with that, she decided to bake-'' Aldor chuckled, as he thought about her, his aunt was still in touch, unlike the rest of his family, ''I mean- she even opened a bakery- and at first- I thought that made no sense- with all of her talent for writting- she could've been extremly famous, but she preffered to go for what she loved the most instead-''

He'd remain quiet for a bit, as he thought, he hasn't really talked to anyone about his aunt since he got to Hogwarts. Maybe it was just because he never found the moment to do so, he could talk about his aunt for hours, she was really special for him, and did many things that helped Aldor.

''Now that I think about it- maybe she was insane- but- I think it's good to go for your dreams-'' Aldor sighed once again. ''And- I guess at least i learned how to bake so- it's fine-'

She listened intently to Aldor as he talked about his aunt. She could tell that he was very fond of his aunt, it was very sweet. "Sh...She sounds l...lovely, " she told him, smiling slightly. "I...I don't h...have any a...aunts and uncles," she told him, leaning back against the tree, "It's just me and my parents, when they aren't at work." She loved her parents but they could be really busy at times, which was one of the reasons they had never adopted any other children.

"I l...like to b...bake sometimes, I...I find it v...very... relaxing," She told him, flipping through the pages of her sketchbook. She remembered she used to bake all the time with her parents. Her dad would always end up tripping and spilling flour or sugar everywhere and they would end up laughing and having to clean up the entire kitchen. She smiled slightly at the memory, and looked back at Aldor. "I...I agree w...with you." She started looking away, " I th...think it's im...important to g...go for y...your dreams."

Her parents always told her to follow her dreams, they had and they were very happy. Her dad had opened an art shop and her father was a pastry chef. She still wasn't sure what she wanted to do, but she was sure she would figure it out.

A slight frown showed on his face, he seemed bothered by something, and he wanted to talk about it, but deep inside him, he finds it hard to talk about his parents, since they left him with his aunt, they became cold and distant, and he would even dare to say that his parents probably weren't even interested in him.

''I like to pretend I don't have parents-'' He'd stare at his hand, he seems. . . sad. ''My parents just to care for me before- they never had time for me- but at least they showed they cared about my feelings- until my first magic showed-'' He'd sigh, as his smile completley faded. ''When it happened- they were- afraid, and I thought maybe we could've figured something out- but they preffered to leave me-''.

He'd put his hand on his forhead, as he stared at the ground thinking. ''Don't get me wrong- I love my aunt and- she taught me so many things but- maybe I wouldn't feel so mad about my family if they even- tried to stay in touch- but they- send me a letter once in the year- when it's my birthday- but they don't even show up when it happens- they just send the letter to my aunt- and pretend I'm fine without them- I don't even know if my parents are still togheter- The only thing I know is that- they are not even trying to know if I'm fine-''

His eyes filled with a sadness and dissapointment, he hates this topic, but he never really manage to take it out of him, he never got the chance to say it, and he was afraid to tell it to his aunt since he believed she would feel like it was her fault. Maybe he can stop worrying about it.

She could tell that his parents was a sensitive subject. She watched him stare at the ground as he talked and while his face may not have shown it she could see in his eyes that he was sad. She wanted to comfort him but she wasn't sure how. She had never been great with people and comforting people was not her speciality. She bit her lip in thought and carefully patted his leg, remembering her father used to do that for her when she was younger. Like her, her father had never been great with people, her dad was the people person.

She wanted to say something but she wasn't sure what on earth she would say. She could say that she was sure that they still cared about him and it would be ok, but that didn't seem right. She didn't know, how would she, things may not be ok so who was she to give hope. She decided to just stay quiet, patting his leg and then going back to flipping through her sketchbook. She sighed slightly, sometimes she wished she was better with people. She hated seeing people sad and she always wanted to help them, but she never knew how to.

He'd smile slightly, even though, it was awkward how she just reached out and patted his leg, but he did not mind it, even when he never really liked physical contact.

''I'm- sorry, i'm not used to talk about my parents-'' He'd stop for a second. ''But at least you seem to be quite happy about your parents-'' He'd lean his head back. ''It might be an awkward question but-'' He would chuckle thinking about he was about to do, he was about to ask someone to be his friend, it was so new and exciting, yet. . . scary as well.

''Would you like to be friends?-'' His smile came back as he turned slightly to her, the sadness in his eyes faded, and turned dreamy and hopeful, he finally managed to ask someone to be his friend, now the problem is, what next?

But he did not care, he just wants an answer, he did not really care if it was a negative one or a positive one, he just seemed glad to be able to brave up and say it.

'' I-I mean- You don't have to feel obligated to say yes- I just think you seem like a real nice and honest little person-'' He'd smile softly as he slowly stretched out his hand.

Her eyes widened slightly as he asked if they could be friends. She thought for a moment, they had just met but he seemed nice and it would be nice to have another friend. She went to say something but before she could he quickly said that she didn't half to but that she seemed nice. She smiled slightly, it was nice to find someone like her. "I...I would l...like that actually," she stuttered quietly, "Y...You also s...seem nice."

When she got her letter to Hogwarts she had been so worried that she wouldn't make any friends. Her whole life she had gone with out them so for her first year, and already making two friends, she counted herself as pretty lucky. Her parents would be happy when she finally sent them an owl, she could already imagine her fathering jumping up and down in the living room, her letter in his hand and her father sitting on the couch, happy for her but worried that her dad would end up tripping because he was so clumsy. "Th...Thank you f...for s...sitting with m...me Aldor," She told him, nervously playing with a strand of her hair and looking down at the ground, "I r...really do m...mean it."

Aldor wold smile, as he looked away, he actually is surprised, he was not expecting her to actually be his friend, as shy and lonely as he is, he does preffer to have company, probably driven by the fact that even as far as his aunt tried to help, she just wasn't able to make him change magically.

''Thank you-'' Aldor said quietly, as he looked back at her. The boy seemed honestly kind and soft, as if he really did not mind anything at this point, as if he would not judge anything or anyone, Aldor was always like this, he always tried to be kind and honest, since he knows how it feels to be ignored or simply, being alone. His innocent eyes would lock onto her, he was very happy, even when his body still shows the same since the conversation started, a soft smile, and kind attitude, everything seems fine, except for the shaky hands, but that was a normal thing for Aldor.

''By the way-'' Aldor said as he leaned his head back. ''I would like to know how often you come here- you know- maybe we end up- finding each other again-'' He would smile once more, as he kept looking at her.
