Cash asked Lucia what house she had wanted to be in, and Lucia winced. She ran a hand through her hair - a nervous habit, cliché as it was - but before she could answer a muggle woman stepped into their aisle and Lucia's mouth snapped shut.
"Merlin, we can't talk here," she muttered to herself, then to Cash said, "I'll tell you when we get in the other bit."
Lucia then took Cash over to the counter where her mother was, and introduced the pair to each other.
Cash answered very politely, and even said that she liked the shop - or 'house', as she called it.
Ebony looked slightly taken aback, but quickly drew herself back together again.
"Thank you," she said, adding, "We don't live here though, Lucy will have to show you our floors, won't you?" Ebony addressed the last part to her daughter.
Lucia winced at the name 'Lucy' - she could remember only too well how she had reacted when Cash gave her a nickname, and hoped they wouldn't be offended.
She nodded in response to Ebony, then quickly asked (before her mother could ask any more questions), "Can you let us in the back, please?"
Ebony looked slightly disappointed at not being able to thoroughly interrogate the first school friend of Lucia's whom she had met, but nodded and (after checking that there were no muggles watching) picked up her wand from a small, thin shelf under the table and tapped the handle of a door in the wall behind her marked, 'Staff only.'
"Thanks."
Lucia opened the door for Cash to step through first.
When/if they entered, Cash would see a rather large room laid out rather like a mix between an independent bookshop, a library, and a small supermarket, with several aisles for bookshelves which reached up to the ceiling when next to the wall, and several metres when standing alone. There were different sections labeled by signs hanging from the ceiling, spelling out things like, 'Children's', 'Young adult', 'Non-Fiction', and even 'Muggle' in the neat and precise handwriting that belonged to Lucia's mother.
On the same wall as the door Cash had entered through, there was a large fireplace with a ceramic pot of Floo Powder nailed to the wall next to it - obviously the prefered way for customers to enter the shop - and a clean mat infront of it to catch the soot.
Opposite, there was a counter not unlike the one in the muggle section - but this one was managed by a house elf rather than a human, wearing a snowy-white towel. Behind her was another door, this one marked 'Staff only - no entry.' Hung next to the door was a framed Order of Merlin (third class) addressed to one of Lucia's ancestors, a man named Timothy Baxter.
In one corner - though it was unlikely Cash would be able to see due to the bookshelves in the way - were four beanbags where the customers' children could sit in order to keep them from breaking anything.
There were more customers in this section of the shop than there had been in the muggle side.
On the walls (where there weren't any bookshelves) were moving posters advertising mostly the latest books, but some from several years ago.

Lucia was about to open her mouth and answered the question that the green eyes girl asked at them but a muggle woman stepped into the aisle where both Lucia and Cash stood. Lucia muttered something to herself that the purple hair girl can not make out. She then said, "I'll tell you when we get in the other bit."to the serpent student.

Cash nodded their head, understand that maybe whatever it is Lucia want to tell the soon to be second year student was too risky and she did not want any prying ears heard about the conversation between the two Hogwarts students. After Cash said how lovely, homey and welcoming the Foxs' house, Lucia's mom seems surprise by Cash compliment but the matriarchy collected herself quickly.

Ebony expressed her gratitude towards what the green eyes girl stated then saying that the Fox's did not live at the bookstore and Lucia will show the purple hair girl where they lived. Lucia winced slightly when Ebony called her 'Lucy'. Cash smiling trying to suppress their laugh. They will tease Lucia about it later on.

Lucia then uttered to her mother to let the pair in to the Foxs' house. Cash look at Ebony and it seems Ebony still have some questions for Cash. She nodded at her daughter requested, make sure that there's no muggle around, picked up her wand and tapped the door handle with a sign 'Staff only'. Lucia said thank you to her mother.

Lucia open the door so Cash can stepped in first. "So Lucy, huh?"Cash inquires to Lucia and this time they let out a small amuse chuckle. When the door open, that was something Cash did not expect. The room larger that the previous one. There are independent bookshop, a library, and a small supermarket. Floor to ceiling aisles of bookshelves.

The sections divided into several labels to indicates the different type of books in the bookstore. Cash can see there is a small pot nailed to the wall, no doubt consist of Floo Powder. Back home, the Ironwoods had one too. Instead of a pot, the Floo Powder at the Ironwoods Manor keep in a unique treasure chest like medium size box with 'Ironwoods engraved in silver cursive lettering on it.

Cash also notice that Lucia has a house elf. Though Cash live for their whole life as a magical family, the Ironwoods opted to hired several helpers around the Manor but they also have one or four house Elves. "My mother believe that human helpers and house elves have the same equal rights"They told Lucia.

"Back home at the Manor, my family have helpers. Human and elves like"They added and smile at the badger. "When I thought the other bookstore that was managed by your mother was magnificent, this.."Cash trailed off. Their eyes scanned the room. "I lost my word, Lucia"The grin broadly.

"Seriously, magic never cease to amaze me"The expressed. The bookstore more lively than the previous one since more customer come and goes. "Any recommended books for me to read, Luce?"They asked Lucia, saying the 'Luce' part with playful manner.

Sorry for such a late reply, @Cassandra Ironwoods!
"Mm-hm," Lucia replied reluctantly, confirming that her family called her Lucy.
Cash stepped through into the other area, and Lucia followed, but not after a short, whispered conversation with her mother.
If Cash had good hearing, she would just hear Ebony hiss, "Blood status?"
"Seriously?" Lucia muttered, not looking her mother in the eye. "Pureblood."
Ebony nodded, and then shut the door behind the two.

"So, like, you have servants?" Lucia asked, interested. "Do they live in your house? Rosa likes sleeping down here for some reason - I think it's something about liking the books - but we have to order her to stop working after eight in the evening or she'll stay up all night."
The Hufflepuff blushed at Cash's compliment. "Thanks!" she replied, still hovering in the doorway.
When her friend asked for book reccomendations, Lucia squeezed past them. "Oh, thousands," she grinned, "What kind of-"
But her question was cut short by a sound Lucia could only hear now she had moved further into the room - muted sobbing.
"Merlin..." Lucia murmured, sure that there was only one person likely to be crying in Fox's Magic Shop - her sister, Willow.
"Um, you mind if I go sort that out?" she asked, already moving towards the sound.

When Cash stepped into the other area, Cash could heard some hissing and Lucia voice in the background but Cash could not made out what Lucia and her mother told each other. After the door being closed, Lucia inquired the green eyes if Cash have servants. "My mother and I prefer to called them by helpers,"Cash stated.

"It is less barbaric than the word 'servant"They told Lucia. The purple haired hoping Lucia did not get offended with how Cash say it. Lucia then inquired if the Ironwoods house employee live in the Manor. "We have enough room for everyone at the Manor and we give them the choices whether they wanted to live in the Manor or not"Cash explained.

"Some of them that choose to stay, they live at the West side of the Manor"The young socialite informed their friend. Lucia claimed that Rosa (the name of the Foxes' house elf) liked to sleep down at the store. Something about the elf fondness for books. The green eyes asked if Lucia had any recommended book for the purple haired to read about.

The Hufflepuff replied 'thousand' for the question. Lucia about to questioned the Serpent genre of books (if Cash assumption is correct) but it seems something pull Lucia's attention from the inquiry. Lucia murmured something but the green eyes can not heard it clearly. Lucia then asked if Cash minded for Lucia to sorted whatever that distracted her.

After Lucia said that, she already moving toward the sound. "No, of course not"Cash smiled at Lucia. Cash, themselves was curious as what was going on so they followed Lucia until they saw another little girl sobbing lowly. There are two things that made Cash feel like they are out of their element. First, crying and tears.

Cash never good with crying and tears (no matter who they are) and tears well, it made them more awkward than before. Second, little person (whether it is a boy or a girl). Growing up being an only child, Cash never know how to act accordingly when they face with someone that much much younger than them.

Cash looked at Lucia helplessly. Unsure what to do. But then something crossed their mind. They learnt this particular skilled out of boredom. "Look, look!"Cash said to the little girl. Cash bended down a bit so their hand was beside the little girl right ear. Cash pretend to reached out from thin air then a coin was pinched between their index finger and thumb.

The green eyes glanced at Lucia. Hoping the Muggle Party trick they learnt ages ago will do the trick to eased out the sobbed that coming from the little girl.

Lucia nodded slowly. "Uh, okay..." she said. "But aren't they just the same thing, 'helpers' and 'servants'? Does it matter what they're called?"

After hearing the muffled sobbing, Lucia quickly navigated her way through the shelves of books to find a small girl with straight black hair and her head in her hands, sitting with her back against one of the bookshelves. As Lucia had suspected, it was her six-year-old sister, Willow, and next to her on the floor, also as Lucia had suspected, was a book. Lucia crouched down to her sister's height and turned the book over. The Tales Of Beedle The Bard. Lucia sighed and looked up at her sister, eyebrow raised. Willow peeked out from between her hands, her light blue eyes wet. "Wills..." Lucia said in a weary tone, and Willow glared at her, then silently hid her face again.
"It's- just so sad!" she mumbled through her jumper. "An' everyone dies, an' why don't the cloak one just live forever?! That's what I'd've done, right, but nooo, he had to go and greet Death, like an old friend, an'-" and she began to sob again.

Footsteps behind her told Lucia that Cash had followed her, and the other person crouched down in front of Willow. They told her to look, and Willow peeked out, a little confused to see someone she'd never met before come to comfort her. She gaped at the magic trick and wiped her eyes, sitting up. The change was miraculous - from sobbing to curiosity in the space of a moment. "Woah, you found that in my ear?" she breathed, and poked her finger in the same ear, prompting Lucia to wrinkle her nose. "I can' find anything?"
