Another adventure in the library

Margaret sighed happily and closed the book "yeah, I'd love to help" she closed the book and put it into her book bag "I think anything would be better than studying for Austronomy (Margaret said Astronomy with a sarcastic sigh).

"So, what do you know about your family, there last names anything like that or any major things they took part in so I know what book I should look for?" She asked getting up and putting her black book bag with purple and blue zigzag patterns on it over her shoulder. "I hope you know at least something about them or we won't know who's truly part of your family or not, something pretty important like their last names or something." She really hoped he did know something or they'd be looking through all the history books not even knowing if they were part of Henry's family o just some random pureblood. Well he probably is looking for something specific or he probably would have given up at the first book knowing that he wouldn't find anything if he wasn't sure what they were like or if this pureblood was even different fro that one. She told herself, reassuringly.

Henry smiled as he watched Margaret put her bookbag on after she got up, Henry then pulled his messager type bag over his shoulder and stood after he placed the potion book on top of the other book before getting up from his chair. Henry smiled as he said " I just know the basics, they were your typical pureblood fanatics who saw muggles as inferiors and hated anyone who thought differently. Probably why both my parents were disowned by their families, because they never cared about blood status and had many muggle friends." Henry paused then quickly added " I don't care about blood status either, I'm not like most Slytherin's. Which is probably why I'm probably the only second year to only have probably one friend in slytherin, most of my friends are in different houses."

Henry worried that he probably said too much so he grab his two books off the table walked around the table to Margaret before saying My mum's family was Knight, their who I'm looking for.
I heard they done some cruel things in the past and even earned the name; bad knights. So I'm just curious who they are since my father won't tell me or my siblings and my mum, well she can't." Henry paused before saying to much, he then indicated a few shelves before speaking again " those shelves might have something, should we start the searching?"

"Yeah" replied Margaret "I think we'll cover more if we search n different isles. I saw an isle of pureblood history and blood discrimination. It was toward the front of the library, I'll go check it out and I think we'll find something if we both search different areas so you can search here." She took her book bag/ black messenger bag so she could carry as many books as possible.

She came back to the table they were originally at carrying 3 books and with 4 others in her bag "Have you read any of these?" Margaret asked Henry laying out the books. Two of the books were red with blue frames and letters the third was red and had gold framing and lettering. The other 3 were blue with silver framing and letters and the last 2 were green and yellow with orange lettering ad framing.

She wasn't sure which ones he had read yet, it was likely that he had read at least one or two already she just wasn't sure which ones. She hadn't read any of them yet only that title and the chapter titles hoping she would be able to tell which ones were useful or not by chapter titles.

"Yeah, I think we'll cover more if we search n different isles. I saw an isle of pureblood history and blood discrimination. Henry went in the opposite direction and enter an row of shelves before stopping halfway down the aisle and reading a few if the spines. He garb around four in the beginning and starting back to their table but occasionally stopping and adding a few to the pile he was holding.

When Henry finally manged to make it back to their table he had six books piled up in his arms that he placed on the table while Margaret did the same, he saw out of the corner of his eyes and heard her say"Have you read any of these?" Henry quickly looked over her books and recognized a few, after a few seconds he spoke" a few of them, yes but I might have missed something in them so it might be worth to read of again." Henry pick up one if the books he grab and opened it to the first page, he decided to speed read the books so they have more time to research.

Margaret nodded, as he said he thought it would be a good idea to read them again. She opened the first green-colored book and started to read some of the chapters, on purebloods and blood feuds between muggles, muggle-borns, half borns, and purebloods. The most common thing she heard about these four blood types was that purebloods hated muggles and muggle-borns and read about a couple of instances where muggle-borns hated purebloods because they purebloods were already being cruel to them so a lot of the other wizards started to hate all purebloods thinking they were all bad (which was one of Margaret's peeves, she hated generalizing and stereotypes).

She couldn't find anything about Henry's family specifically but a lot about disagreements and arguments between the blood types. After she went through the green books and some of the blue books she came across one of the blue and silver books and read something about people getting disowned from families or just been asked to never come near them again and she remembered Henry saying something about his parents not being part of their families anymore because of blood feuds and thought maybe this book might help henry. She slid it over to him "How's this?" Margaret asked opening the next book.

Henry read the first book quite fast, when he found no useful information in it, he closed it and placed it back on the table. He was about to start reading another book when he heard Margaret say "How's this?" She slid her book over to him and he quickly read it over before he bit his lip and thought for a few minutes.

It's helpful but father told me this already, about his family not mum's. He probably doesn't know much about her family but even Arthur said that Mum didn't perfer and never did actually talk about her family so maybe they were worse and maybe they did some pretty bad things, that someone would put into a book. So maybe, if we can't find anything about then here maybe there's a book in the restricted section that could help?

As thoughts started to fill Henry's head, he sild the book back to Margaret as he smiled to her. Henry watched her for a few minutes before speaking " it's helpful, I think were on the right track to finding some information on them." Henry then opened another book and began to speed read while he thought, he continued to read while he spoke " I still don't know why I'm curious about my family, I know their pureblood's who lived by the old ways and blood status but I'm just curious who they were and what they probably did, even through I don't agree with them." He paused while he read before continuing " What about you, what's your family like?"

When he talked about wanting to know about her family she understood exactly what he meant. "You don't have to have a reason to want to know your history sometimes you just do, I understand." She said.

She continued to read her books as well, still finding nothing important or useful.

"What about you, what's your family like?" Henry asked, also continuing to read.

"Well, my family history isn't that interesting. We have a long line of no patters that have to do with muggle bloods or magical blood. We've had squibs and muggles married into our family. Not all of us have magic blood but most of us do. My dad was muggle-born and his family owned a small restaurant that he now owns and we help him and mom run it. I know more about my history but it's probably pretty boring and I don't want to annoy you with my history. You probably don't care." Margaret explained.

She continued to read. She liked her family history and understood how he would want to know his family's history too. She read for a while with nothing she thought would help. She found one other thing ut she didn't think it was really helpful so she just went on to the last book.

"You don't have to have a reason to want to know your history sometimes you just do, I understand," Margaret spoke and Henry smiled while he looked up at her, Margaret continued "Well, my family history isn't that interesting. Henry closed the book he was reading while marking the page that he was one before saying" you won't bore or annoy me because I would like or-- care to know about your family history. My father never talks about ours with my siblings and me, and my mum...well she can't-"Henry paused as he wiped away a tear then placed a hand on his chest where his scar was before continuing " so I'm always interested to hear others histories so you can tell your tale."

I know some of their names and contributions but that's the main summary." Margaret felt like she was blabbering on so she ended it there and looked down at the book about some muggle prosecutors.

Henry continued to graze at Margaret and smile, wow that sounds like a amazing legacy and just a great family. She must be lucky to have ancestors on both sides and know both of their stories, it's funny her life is sort of in the middle of both wizard and muggle. Maybe I should say something about mine but what do I even know and how do I know that she won't judge?

Henry smiled and continued to graze at Margaret as he spoke " that sounds like a great legacy and family, it's almost like you are in the middle of both wizard and muggle." Henry paused and ran a nervous hand through his hair before continuing " I don't know much but I do know that my parent's both fought in the battle of Hogwarts on the muggle side, or against you know who. Well from what my father told me, his family fought with you know who against their known kids and I'm guessing my mum's family also fought on you know who's side but I don't really know because she never talked about it when she was around." Henry rapidly stopped talking and jerked his head down while regretting saying anything, he wiped a quick tear away from his eye before continuing reading.
