Selene ran as fast as she could, she had to, otherwise, she and the other girl would have been caught. She prayed on Merlin's beard the girl remembers the route she told her to go to. The masked girl quickly hides behind a wall. She had one object left so might as well use it, otherwise what's the point? She brushed strands of her hair away from her hair as she throws a rock in the opposite direction. Selene then opened her mask to get some fresh air than a ruffled one, god, how long did the girl wait for her? Either way, she made sure to examine her surroundings, making sure that it was safe to go. Bloody hell, that was one of the most exciting experiences she ever had! She would love to do them again! And the prize was not bad at all! Selene couldn't help it, a sly grin returning back to her face. God, remembering the reason made her ecstatic! But carelessly her gut told her otherwise. She appreciated the fact that the girl didn't even try to ramble like many others, Selene's not a bitch every day..well...most of the time. It's easier to be disliked by people rather than wasting effort on being liked by everyone, one wrong move and somehow you're canceled immediately, this is the harsh truth. It's better than a comfortable lie and sugar-coated words, she especially dislikes sugar-coated words.

Selene examined her surroundings, letting out another cold breath. Her mask was in her hands, she thought it would be better to not wear it until she finds the girl. The corridors as she walks past them were colored in dim torches, the darkness consuming most of the spaces. Finally, she could get some fresh air. She wondered and slightly worried about the girl, what if somehow she got lost? Maybe that was why she had that sudden gut feeling. It was Selene's fault anyways, she took too long. Clicking her tongue she rolled her eyes before an idea struck to her, a sudden plan in her eyes.

What if she showed up to the girl without wearing her mask?... Wait no, that'll be way too suspicious. Selene rolled her eyes at her own stupidity, sigh, what was with her this whole time? She made sure her footsteps were as stealthy as she can as she continued to walk/ As soon as she finally found the portrait and the location. But of course, the girl just had to go missing again. Selene took a deep breath, glaring at the portrait, if looks could kill, the portrait would have already been burning in depths of fiery hell. She tightened her first, her breathing became ragged, it was as if she was ready to erupt. She felt as if her eyes were getting glassy, she was a child, Selene's childish in many traits, if things do not go as unplanned or if somehow something happens that damages her. She can't help but become Mt. Vesuvius, her head becomes a pain and she could feel everything became hotter. She hated when her plan doesn't work out, she hated it so much she could burst and cry. Why? The girl could have just followed her instructions. Selene was definitely wrong to think that the girl would actually listen to a stranger, Selene was a stranger! Of course, she would have been suspicious!

Selene closed her eyes for a second, pushing her hair back. She tried to calm down her breathing, counting from one to three. She hated not being in control, she hated that her mind was getting a big headache and everything inside of her burns. Hell, she was hell. In the worst form of humanity, a child.

She then put on her mask back before trying once more to find the girl. When she finds the girl, she'll definitely teach her a lesson...she wasn't that heartless and she was tired already. Nevermind that. She had to find the girl. She walked, rushing through the corridors with her little feet. As her breathing slowly becomes more ragged and her head getting a migraine. She looked far and wide for the girl. Why? Selene repeated that question several times. She was just that mad.

She stops leaning to a wall, she closed her eyes before letting out an exasperated sigh, her head was spinning. She could just ditch the girl and leave, but unfortunately enough it's not until the third year that she decides life was going to go throw her around. She finally found her, the girl was aimlessly walking around the halls like a moth to a flame, ready to be set ablaze by detention. Like a ghost. She then went up behind her and grasped her shoulders tightly.

Lizzie walked. And walked. And walked. No sign of "moon rabbit" yet. With a sigh, she continued onwards. Just like the directions she'd been given. Now that she had the time to think about it, it was really quite strange that "moon rabbit" had been sitting in that abandoned bathroom with the mask on. How did they know that someone was going to wander in? She could see them just sitting in that decrepit bathroom stall for hours, waiting for someone to wander in, and them starting to get impatient --if they had that short of an attention span--, walking to the door and peeking out with that mask that was both creepy and ridiculous- she laughed aloud. To her, it was quite amusing to picture that scene.

At this point, Lizzie was just wandering. Boy did she wish "moon rabbit" had given her a specific place to meet them. Like what type of instruction was "find the small painting and then onwards from there. I'll meet you"? Her usual confused expression spread over her face as she replayed what she remembered "moon rabbit" saying.

"Once you step outside to go to the right, go forward then go right. Finally, you'll find a small painting and from then onwards, I'll meet you there."

Wait. ...And from then onwards, I'll meet you there. Was she supposed to meet the masked person at the small painting? For the first time since she had passed said painting, Lizzie inspected her surroundings.

The same grey walls that every corridor in Hogwarts had with the same random smattering of paintings. Of course, the paintings were probably different, but she hadn't been in Hogwarts long enough to be able to figure out where she was based on the paintings. She had no doubt that by her seventh year she'd be able to do it, she did have an artist's mind after all. Most of the corridors she didn't use on a daily basis and thus most were foreign to her.

With a shrug, the redhead figured that she might as well continue wandering. She was probably too far away from the small painting for "moon rabbit" to find her. She'd have a better chance of finding The Fat Lady than "moon rabbit" in her opinion.

With that mindset, it was no wonder she nearly shrieked when a pair of hands suddenly clamped onto her shoulders. Luckily, she managed to bite back the scream, and chose to replace it with a plethora of curses, most of which a twelve-year-old shouldn't know. No wonder her mother thought their family friends, the MacKennons were a bad influence. Their son, Jasper, knew just about every curse in the book, and never hesitated to use that knowledge.

"Are you out of your mind?!" she hissed at the other person. "I could've screamed and then whoever's patroling the corridors would've found us!" She wasn't really in a position to say that though, considering she hadn't stopped at the meeting place. So what if she was a bit of a hypocrite? But she had an alibi that was mostly true, in cause she was caught. Did "moon rabbit" have an alibi? Probably not. So if someone was to get caught, in the best-case scenario, it would just be her. So there. Her hypocritical comment was allowed. Right? No? Oh well, she'd already said it.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Selene couldn't help but roll her icy-eyes behind the mask. She pulled herself away from the girl, being very careful of the fact if the girl would catch her scent. Well, she was using her favorite lemon-scented shampoo after all. What? It's necessary for a girl to take care of their own body, as well as necessary to know the things many streets smarts knew, any cosmo girl would know that. " Says the girl who got lost trying to find her own dorm." She said, of course, her tone was the usual one deep and a wannabe masculine. Selene couldn't help but roll her eyes again, I know I know maybe she'll find a brain there. What? Found it on google or something? Or was it the muggle app called youtube? Ah yes, memes exist. "I could've screamed and then whoever's patroling the corridors would've found us!" Without even caring a single bit about the girl's tantrum, or was it Selene's? She then flicked the girl's forehead before turning around and continued to walk. That was the least of what Selene could do to the girl, but she said so herself, the girl could have screamed and both of them would have gotten caught.

The masked girl turned around and started walking, looking at her sideways, if the girl had a very observant eye or magically could see in the dark, she'll notice her eyes glaring at the girl. Selene was pissed, but nevertheless she had to control it. Otherwise, she'll go berserk. Pulling the girl's hair and resulting in the act of violence to be the answer, the way her father did to her...god family problems are really overrated as character development sometimes huh? But hey! We got to start from somewhere at least! Selene sighed and continued to walk around the dark corridors. At least Selene was sure that the girl was not that much of an idiot, that's enough of a compliment you'll find from a Slytherin you know..the fact that so many are Disney villains.

Selene continued to walk, she didn't like being in a somewhat awkward conversation, it just wasn't her forte. She disliked it, in away. "What? No more snarky comments?" She teased the girl, well rather than a long silence. "What got you lost anyway?"She asked trying to lighten up the conversation. As a matter of fact, she did not care but of course one must know how to be a socialite. The girl might be someone from the higher-ups family her father knows. She had to keep tabs on her family, otherwise who will? Surely her workaholic father wouldn't.

As soon as both of them made their way to the corridors. The many stairs would shift and move and does everything in its way to block them. Selene examines the surroundings, even for a fact that it was pitch-black, she looked around seeing that most of the paintings were asleep. Good. "Wow, the stairs must hate you a lot."

Lizzie recoiled as the masked figure reached out to flick her forehead. Again. What was that, like the millionth time? Or.. maybe it was the first, but it sure seemed like something the masked person would have done earlier. The redhead nearly got left behind though, as the masked figured had already started walking by the time she'd gotten over the shock of being flicked on the forehead.

Like who flicks people on the forehead?! She found herself shaking her head as if agreeing to her thoughts. The masked person kept walking down the hallway, and she had to half-heartedly jog to keep up with them. Flicking people on the forehead is something grandma's do... gasppp masked "moon rabbit" person is actually a grandma! Boom I'm a genius!

The question, though, was whether she should report her findings to the masked "moon rabbit" person. Would they be offended or would they find it funny? Was it worth possibly offending the person helping her find her way back to her dorm? No, probably not. She'd probably be wandering around the corridors until someone else found her if she was left alone again.

"What? No more snarky comments? What got you lost anyway?"

Lizzie's head snapped towards the person she'd deemed a grandma. Huh, she hadn't noticed that she wasn't voicing her thoughts aloud for once. Did the grandma really want to know her recent revelation? And their new nickname? They were the ones starting conversation anyways... If she started speaking and ended up explaining her whole thought process, it wasn't her fault...

"I've been busy thinking about your new nickname. Y'know, because 'random masked person' is quite the mouthful to say," she eyed the person in an attempted to gauge their reaction, but with that dang mask, she couldn't see their face at all and therefore couldn't see their reaction. "Just let me know if you want to know your nickname..." It took most of her willpower to hold back a mischievous smile that was threatening to cross her face. That would surely give away the nature of the nickname.

"Do you really want to know what got me lost? I'm pretty sure if I tell you, you'll end up in the hospital wing from laughing too hard." This time, she couldn't keep the smile from her face. Truth be told, she had gotten herself lost (it was partially the stairs' fault too) but due to her own incompetence in finding her way around the castle, she'd gotten lost.

Soon enough, the pair reached where the stairs should be. But... they weren't there. Of course, they weren't. Somehow, in her one year of being at Hogwarts, Lizzie had managed to offend the stairs or do something that caused them to dislike her. They always seemed to be avoiding her. Surely, it couldn't have been because of that incident that one time... Nah, it couldn't have been that.

"Yeah, no kidding the stars hate me," she scoffed under her breath, slightly upset that an essential part of navigating the castle wasn't going to cooperate with her. At the same time though, if the stairs weren't going to be nice to her, there was no reason for her to be nice to them. Right?

"Nicknames? Huh, if you say so." The both of them knew it was getting way too late and it was already a tiring day, Selene needs her beauty sleep after all. The masked girl then grabbed the girl's hand, ignoring how much the stars hate her. Selene just sighed. Their surroundings were nothing more than whispers of paintings or a sudden gush of unknown wind coming out of nowhere-but hey-a story gotta start somewhere right? Besides this time, this chapter was going to end for both them-perhaps. "Well, let's just make a run for it." Selene said, taking the girl's hand once a more-this time not too hard but enough so she won't slip and fall into another staircase. As someone who had their dorm below a bloody dungeon-as well the resurrection of the fish god and spiders deciding the dungeons would be the best place to mate and kill a bunch of students- or maybe the best one yet, a party at 1 a.m- in the bloody morning, Merlin's Beard that's definitely worst than anything-This will definitely be the last time she's going to sleep so late-oh come on, she'll end up being a hobbit.

Nevertheless, Selene dragged the girl and went towards the staircase running as fast as their little feet could bring them to the girl's common room. The girl was right, the staircase hated her for an unknown reason-Selene's nosy but tonight isn't the right time for her to even ask-apparently when she was tired she knew when or what is enough to know off. Selene made sure to look left and right as soon as they made it to the top. They were greeted by the one and only The Fat Lady who didn't bother to ask what were they even doing here in the middle of the bloody night and straight-up asked for the password, Selene silently thanked the fat lady before snapping her fingers, remembering the password, it started with an 'E' and when she eavesdropped she remembers the password reminded her of a certain game-as well a villa.

"Exotic Butters." Selene said in a stern manner, no she didn't even crack a smile for she does not know what it meant. Selene then glanced at the tall girl-totally, not a reference and gave her a signal to come inside. Once Selene was sure that the girl was safe. She then jumped on one of the moving staircases and made her way to the dungeons-her dorm.
