Duck Duck Goose Errand Finished

This had turned into an absolute disaster but it seemed that somehow, they'd survived. His spell had indeed been the correct one and while it took a few tries in the end they managed to clean up their 'mess'.

He was glad that Serena had gone after the goose – he probably could've been more help there but chasing it with two people, they'd probably just get in each others way, right? – but the ducks had been difficult enough already. Maybe he should've felt guilty that he didn't – but no. She had already proven to be more competent than him last year when it came to acting quickly under pressure, so... Besides, despite her weird flirting at the Professor she had dealt with things fine so. Eh. It was fine.

“Not any time soon, that's for sure.”, he mumbled in response to her expressing her wish to never do this again. Honestly, it had been kinda fun and once she was less mortified she'd probably not take it as badly – at least he assumed she was mortified. Though he had to admit, he did not want to have to deal with the reversal again. Untransfiguring animate whatevers was a pain.

With how quickly Serena left after her parting words – fled really, if you asked him – he offered a lame “Uh, sure.” to the empty corridor before giving the professor a semi-apologetic grimace of a smile and dashing off himself.
