Courtyard Location
── ❋ ──Interacting with @Serena Towers❋𝓐madea gave Serena a genuine smile as she handed the rat back over to the other girl. While Serena might think it was out of her good nature, smiling because she was happy to help out, Amadea was really smiling because she was glad to have the rat out of her grasp. Now that her adrenaline was slowing down and the blood wasn't pounding in her brain anymore, she couldn't believe she had just voluntarily touched a rat. After that experience in the passageways, Amadea had vowed never to even go near a rat again...and yet here she was, handing a paint-covered rat over to its proper owner. Maybe it was because Amadea knew that this rat was (probably) more domesticated, but whatever the reason was, Amadea was still shocked with herself.
She forced herself to return to the conversation, listening as Serena suggested doing handprints to make the rainbow river. Amadea nodded along. "That sounds like a great idea!" she said with a smile. Serena wasted no time getting to work, grabbing the blue paint bucket to begin their masterpiece. Amadea went over to the other side of the courtyard, grabbing a paint bucket and dipping her hand into the cool liquid before pressing her hand firmly against the stones of the courtyard. When she peeled it away, a blue handprint was now located right next to one of Pizza's globs of purple. She continued the process, leaving blue handprints all along the purple before meeting where Serena was working. Amadea then circled back to the edge of the courtyard, this time with green. She repeated the process, enjoying the repetitive process of dipping her hand, placing the color, and then repeating. While she worked, she let her mind wander as she thought about pride.
While Amadea had never really sent much time thinking about her sexuality, she was glad that this errand was available for her. Two of the people she was closest to (her best friend Ami Procoppio and her sister Katerina Campbell) were part of the lgbtqia+ community and Amadea stood in solidarity with them. She was glad that this errand was available for people to celebrate and learn more. As Amadea placed the last red handprint on the floor, she looked up to see Serena was finishing as well. She grinned and walked over to the Hufflepuff who was covered in paint. Amadea looked down at herself and realized she was just as paint soaked. She laughed. "Wow I think we got as much paint on ourselves as we did on the floor," she joked. "It looks great though!" The rainbow river looked beautiful and much better than the paint splatters that had originally been on the floor.
"I should probably head out though, and clean myself up," Amadea said to Serena, glancing down at her robes which were stained with paint. Somehow it had even made its way into her hair, coating her red locks with blues and greens. "It was fun decorating with you!" Amadea said with a wave to Serena as she made her way out of the courtyard, making sure not to step on their decorative mural.
