[Not the Sharpest Knife] ”’Hi I’m just your friendly neighborhood Claudia!” she managed. Wait. That was from Spider-Man. ”Oh - er - uh. Whoops. Um, yeah hi my name’s Gears. Er - Claudia. Claudia Gears. Yes, that’s me. Yay!’”
[From Silence to Sound] Ahh!” Claudia yelped. She immediately covered her mouth with both of her hands. The singer - or Mars, she should say - was standing right in front of her. Desperate to recover, Claudia started to talk. “Oh - er - sorry. Didn’t see you there. Ummm... you’re the... singer, right? Y-yeah. I like Pilots. Oops, I mean th-that I like Twenty One Pilots. You know, the... band.” Claudia’s face flushed red. “Ooh! Cheese! Wait-what. Why-did-I-just-say-that? Pay-no-mind-to-what-I-just-said. I meant that I’m Claaadia* - Gears. Claudia Gears. Mhm, you know me. Y-you hate me. That’s me! Er... ignore the hate part.” Claudia was sweating and very embarrassed. Yet another one of her socially terrifying introductions that made the best cringe and the worst vomit.

[You Have Got to be Flaming Kidding Me] “As Claudia examined the room, she saw petite Hufflepuffs and dedicated Ravenclaws, she saw noble Gryffindors and scheming Slytherins, but she did not see the one person directly in front of her. She did not see the source of her impending doom. Or, more specifically, on that day Claudia had failed to notice a tall, brunette Gryffindor who was practicing a fire spell. A fire spell that had just happened to bend back toward Claudia. By stumbling into the study room, Claudia had also stumbled into the path of flames.”
[From Silence to Sound] “Relax. It’s not like anyone’s gonna whip out a knife and stab you, Claudia reassured herself. Though, in the back of her brain, her pessimistic part of her mind was thinking of the handful of people Claudia knew carried a knife or some other sort of weapon.”
[Not the Sharpest Knife] “Claudia shrugged. It didn’t matter what... Koko... thought about her. Sure the girl was pretty, sure she probably had a lot of friends to help torture Claudia if Koko ever spoke the command, sure she probably had a cute, jock boyfriend who would probably kill her if Claudia ever said anything rude about or to Koko but who cares what she thinks? Maybe the whole school.”

About Claudia:Reducio-Claudia was thought to be a squib
-Claudia didn’t actually lose her eye, she just wants us to think that (you can add why)

Claudia’s parents took her to a petting zoo of sorts - only it was magical. When she held up one of the baby animals, it got mad and scratched her with its poisonous claws. The poison wasn’t fatal, but there wasn’t a cure yet and by the time they found one, it was years after too late. Her eye isn’t gone, she just doesn’t like to show it. When she did before, people would scream or throw up, and Claudia felt like a monster. She bought an eyepatch after that and didn’t show it again. This is the most common story that Claudia tells - usually to neutral or any acquaintances. When she tells this to muggles, she says it was a stray cat on the street.☆ Eyepatch Lies ☆
Soon after her magic accident occurred, Claudia was super psyched for Hogwarts. She thought that she would get the letter soon, that she was a child prodigy, and that Hogwarts would let her in even though she wasn’t yet eleven. She practically begged her parents to take her to Diagon Alley and look at all the animals and such - and they agreed. It was a fun vacation for little Claudia and she really, really wanted to get a wand so that she could do magic. Her parents thought she was joking and pulled her along to get ice cream. But her hand slipped. Seeing the opportunity Claudia ran off and entered Ollivanders. She was super small at that time and hid behind someone who was actually getting their supplies, took a wand off the shelf, and gave it a whirl. The wand backfired because she had it backwards and... her eye was permanently damaged. This is a fun one that I like to tell, mainly because it calls on her young stupidity. Claudia also tells this to acquaintances, though likely more friendly ones that she has spent some time with. This one is told if asked later in the conversation, and is more convincing because they’re more likely to remember it.
