"Do either of you have pets?" He heard the girl ask.

This girl talked quite a lot moving from one subject to another. Surely Alec wasn't as bad of a talker as her? He felt a bit sorry for her. Although Alec assumed he was probably worse of talker then her.

"I don't have a pet but I want one. A cat probably. I liked the Bangel, but the owls were cute too." Boy, this was going to be a long ride if Alec had to listen to this the whole ride. Not that there was anything wrong with that. It was just a bit.. annoying.

Alec cast a glance towards Cassie. His eyes glazing over their 'backpack' as they called it. Once again. It both disgusted and amused him. Why anybody would want to wear that even if it was to make their parents upset was beyond him.

Alec was about to speak bringing up the whole backpack satchel thing again but was interrupted by the girl, again. "We should put on our robes soon," the girl announced as she started to go through her bag. Was it everybody that brought bags and trunks? He didn't really see the need for a bag at the moment. Although he did have his nice leather satchel stashed away in his trunk somewhere.

Then Alec remembered he was holding his robe. He'd grabbed it before he got onto the train so he wouldn't have to go digging for it. Alec gave the girl a quick dismissive glance. He'd put his on later.

And of course eventually later came faster then Alec had imagined. And they were at Hogwarts.
