Thora loved hunts of all sorts. She loved hunting through the woods for interesting things - like squirrels or bird nests or worms or other interesting little things from the woods that might specifically irritate her sisters. So an egg hunt seemed perfect for her.

She'd heard of egg hunts, and had always wanted to participate in one. She loved the idea of a giant bunny hiding eggs, even if it was a bit silly. So the moment she had a chance, Thora headed straight for the greenhouses. There were a ton of great hiding places there. It seemed like the perfect place.

When Sabrina heard there was a scavenger hunt going on, she knew exactly who she was going to team up with. Soloing things just wasn't her thing, and when it came to searching for things, she was too impatient to do it properly most time. So, when she had the opportunity, she made sure to drag Reid Kovacs along with her.

They had decided to take to the Hospital Wing, where Sabrina was currently looking underneath drawers, behind curtains, and in the bedside tables. It was going to take her a while, considering there were a ton of beds per side of the room, but she had taken the right side, and forced Reid to take the left side basically.

"Found anything yet?" She asked her partner-in-crime, without looking at him. She didn't have to, he was well aware she was talking to him, she was sure.

Lucette bounded upwards from her seat at the Slytherin table at the very news of an Easter Egg Hunt. Many students had already started. Lucette bit her lip, telling herself that she'd find at least one egg. It was no surprise she wasn't too confident with herself, but her childish joy for this hunt outweighed her need for curling up in a ball and pretending the real world didn't exist. She smirked, sighing. She'd send some of prizes home for Pete. Her little brother would love that.

She broke into a wild smile, before looking around. She hopped out of her seat, stumbling a bit on her landing but still catching herself. Perking up, she strode forward at a quick pace, but not exactly running. She didn't need anyone following her where she was going.

This event was a little too school-wide to ignore. Not to say that Krez didn't celebrate easter. She was just more used to doing it at home. Other children were here and excited this time, so she figured she'd have to look hard and fast to be able to nab anything.
She would join the other students in their energetic search for magic eggs! The potential for what could be found within them only fueling her fire. She headed right for the trophy room, positive that those cases and cups would hold at least some treasures within them.

As soon as she arrived, she immediately began to look between cases, inside cups, under plaques, wherever she could reach. And the places she couldn't reach? She climbed for. It was a struggle for her and possibly a little reckless, but she wasn't going to miss an egg due to her stunted height! Oh no, she was going to go as high or as low as necessary! Even if it meant she fell off and possibly hurt herself! Or maybe not, she was going to be careful, just thorough.

His competitive side had been ignited as the moment they announced that an Easter egg hunt was to take place. He had never participated in such an event before and found it intriguiging. The prospect of finding a treat and a competition was enough to draw him in. It sounded simple enough. All they had to do was find an egg. How hard could that be?

Once the bell rung signalling the start of the event, Zed immediately bolted out of his seat and joined the throng of students clammoring out the Great Hall, each one eager to find an egg of their own. The crowd soon thinned once past the wide doors as students veered off to search in different directions.

Zed headed towards the stairs snd began climbing. He didn’t really have a plan nor did he have an idea on where to search just yet. When he’d reached the third floor, he got off the stairs and began walking around it. He stopped in front of a door that he wan’t quite sure he’d been through before. With little hesitation, Zed opened it and found himself greeted by the sight of what appeared to be the trophy room. He beamed thinking that admist the awards was the perfect place for him to search for a win.

He checked inside one of the glass display housing trophies, hoping to find something egg-like.

Delilah had heard that an Easter Egg Hunt was going on so she was standing in the great hall listening to what the game master had to say, thinking of somewhere to search. She decided on the study room. After they were sent away to find the eggs she went straight there, seeing the other students disperse. Once she was there she looked under chairs, tables, pretty much anything that could hide anything under it. There were a few study materials in the corner that she spread apart and looked in between, she thought she had looked pretty thoroughly but she could always be wrong, she used to participate in her villages Easter Egg Hunts, there was one on every year and they were always fun.

Dmitri Kazimir Jones slammed the door to the Boy's Lavatory shut, throwing his back onto its wooden surface. He then slid all the way down until he was sitting on the cold tiled floor, burying his face in his knees. The Slytherin boy resisted every urge to cry, but a damned stubborn tear slipped from his eyes--which, at that time, were squeezed tightly shut.

Get a hold of yourself, you flobberworm! He scolded himself, clenching and unclenching his fists in the process of trying to compose himself.

Outside the door, rapid footsteps and gleeful laughs echoed throughout the hallway--students of all ages scrambling through the entirety of Hogwarts hunting for little decorated eggs, hoping for a magical surprise. Unbeknownst to them, one lone student saw Easter as a curse and a sad reminder of what he once had and now lost.

Longer than the raven-haired boy can remember, Easter had always been his and his mother's favorite season of all--not only because the little boy Dmitri was before loved bunnies, but because of the story of how Easter came to be. Easter was a symbol of loss and resurrection, of life and death, of love and hate--of hope lost and hope regained. It was a beautiful season made more beautiful by the laughs he shared with his mother as they whipped up a bunch of decorated eggs together, getting paint on each other--eating egg dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But because of his mother's gruesome death, Easter has ceased to be a symbol of positivity.

Now, all the Slytherin knows of Easter is the darkness, the loss--of hope, life, and love--and the sadness.

Getting shakily onto his feet, Dmitri felt behind him and locked the Lavatory door, not wanting anybody to see him in his moment of weakness. The raven-haired boy then walked slowly to the bathroom sink's mirror, evaluating his reddened eyes and puffy cheeks.

You're quite a mess. You are a mess.

Leaning forward, with the intent of turning on the faucet to wash his messy face, he saw something strangely glittery and round sitting beside the tap.

Was that an egg?

Aubren had no luck with the library, even though she looked in nearly crook and cranny, yet came up with nothing. She left the library in quick exit, running along the hallway. She was tempted to use a revealing spell, something her father used if he couldn't find his car keys or watch, but she decided against it. After all, it would have been cheating, in her mindset anyway.

She paused for a moment, out of breath. Aubren thought quickly of another place to search, The Great Hall? No, someone must have looked there already...Class rooms might be off the hook as well...
"The bathrooms!" Aubren said out loud from a sudden surge of realization. Instantly, the Gryffindor raced off, her brown hair flying behind her as she ran.

She ran to the stairs of the fourth floor and raced her way up to the fifth floor, her black flats making soft but echoing taps as she went up each step. At the fifth floor, she ran by the prefects bathroom as well as the classroom, but the sudden door slamming from the boy's bathroom made her freeze in her tracks. The loud bang echoed, and for a split second, it frightened her. The fright didn't last too long before she just assumed a boy had went in there to look, and so, Aubren ran by and went straight into the girl's bathroom.

Serena was a keen bean, like always. It really didn't take much for her to be excited, in fairness. And the Easter Egg Hunt was definitely one thing that got her excited - I mean, anything with chocolate sounded amazing no? The Hufflepuff had made her way down to the Great Hall nice and early, with a massive grin on her face. She was never early for breakfast but this event seemed like a great way to actually motivate her to get up. It was far more fun than waking up for class, after all. They were told about the Magical Easter Egg Hunt at the Easter Breakfast and instantly people started to disperse into different directions.

The Hufflepuff decided to take a trip outside. She loved the Grounds and everything there. Plus, she patrolled the inside floors as part of her Prefect duties and it was getting a bit tiresome seeing the same four walls on a daily basis. She had taken to speaking to some of the portraits and ghosts that she met on her patrols now - it helped make the time pass whilst you're walking around by yourself. They mad for excellent company and could help point her in the direction of any unusual sightings or students misbehaving.

Walking outside, she looked around and spotted a few of her fellow students going off in different directions. Nodding to herself, she decided to venture over to the Great Lake. By the side of the lake, she started to look around the bushes to see if she could spot anything.

An Easter egg hunt?  At Hogwarts?  Now that seemed to be quite an interesting event that Cynthia just had to take part in.  Several students were already out searching the school and the school grounds.  She was sure to have fun with this event.  Even if she didn’t win a prize.  The point was to simply have fun.  But where would she look?  She thought of all the hiding places that Hogwarts had to offer and ultimately came to the conclusion of where to go.  Smiling to herself, Cynthia hurried off to the potions classroom and begin her search there.

The potions classroom was empty when Cynthia arrived, which she was lucky for.  She started her search for a colorful Easter egg with a surprise inside of it.  She searched everywhere she could think of.  In the cupboards, along the bookcases, under the tables.  She really wanted to find an egg and get a prize.
