Oopies!
As James hugged Marissa, he could hear her still trying to recover from her tears, but she still accepted the hug. There was a moment where Marissa leaned her head on James' shoulder, and a light blush dusted his face. But then, Marissa drew away sharply, as if there had been a sudden pain. James looked at her with concern, wondering if that was where she had hit her head.
Marissa looked at James and smiled shyly. "F-Friends?" she asked.
James nodded. "Of course. Always. Friends."
Marissa hugged James this time, and James accepted the hug, returning the warm gesture. He could feel Marissa's hand on his back. There was a moment where she rubbed her hand back and forth, but then stopped. James figured she probably didn't really know what to do to how to act in this situation, seeing as it's not everyday that you fall out of a tree onto someone else, and also seeing that Marissa didn't talk to people often.
This thought made James feel a little bit better. He was glad that he was one person that Marissa would talk with. He was glad he was with her right now.
James pulled Marissa closer, making the hug a little more comfortable. He rested his chin on her shoulder and put his hand on her back too, rubbing it back and forth to let her know that it was okay.

Oopies!
Always. That is what James promised her for their friendship. She felt at peace with that, at least he did not hate her. She would have been extremely sad if he was angry.
She was shocked to when James brought her into a closer hug. This felt more warmer and friendlier, maybe a bit more comfortable. She smiled shyly, resting her chin on his shoulder as she tried to hide her blush. She could not help it, she always went red whenever she was embarrassed or under other.. circumstances. She sighed and hugged him back. Mari found it relaxing when he slowly rubbed his hand along her back. It made her worries and anxiousness go away slowly, this made her more comfortable with him.
Putting one hand on her head, she checked the area that she felt pain on. Again, instant pain that caused her to feel dizzy took over. Obviously there was going to be a bruise and a small lump, but it still did not help. She leaned back onto James, feeling slightly sickened by touching the wound. She tried not to cry or whimper this time as she did not want to upset James again. Acting casual, she hugged James back, hoping that he would not have to worry about her.

James inhaled softly, but deeply and slowly. He closed his eyes, feeling his head on Marissa's shoulder, and her head on his shoulder. Because of this, their cheeks were brushing against the each other's and James knew they were both blushing. It was okay, though. This all just seemed and felt okay.
James began to notice, however, that Marissa seemed to be fidgeting a bit, and messing with her head. James sat back up, temporarily breaking the hug with a look of concern on his face. The hug wasn't really broken in a disappointing way, and maybe "broken" wasn't the best way to describe it. James had just pulled back far enough so that he could look at her face.
"Marissa? Are you okay?" James asked with care and concern. James noticed a small little bump on her head, where she must have gotten hit.
James slowly reached forward, to look at it, but then stopped, his fingertips outstretched.
"Um, Marissa? Do you mind if I look at it?" he asked, not wanting to touch her without her consent or permission. He would probably freak out a bit if someone started touching his forehead too, without him knowing what they were doing.

Oopies!
Ava looked around. She was still kind of crying, but seeing the two hugging and being... I guess happy? Made her feel a little bit better. "I'm sorry..." she said quietly, not wanting to ruin their moment together.
'You idiot. You think they will ever forgive you? You are just so... stupid. You idiot, if she did not want a picture, why did you come up to her? If she runs away from you, you do not come closer! Can't you see? They hate you.' a voice in her head started talking. The girl's head was hurting. Everything was going slow. Going fast. Colorful. Black and white. Blurry. She somehow could feel everything, that she could not feel before. Then she could not feel anything. It was black, it was white... Everything collided with each other and at some point... It was just too overwhelming Everything happening at the same time.
Ava passed out, there and then, on the cold floor. Her head just... stopped working.
After a couple minutes, she felt like she woke up. Her mind was aware, but her body refused to get up. Sleep paralysis? A lucid dream? Hallucinations? She tried to blink, but she still could not. Suddenly. the black before her eyes started lighting up. She could now see colors, shapes... everything. After a couple of minutes, she could see what the shapes were. People. A lot of them she knew, her family, her friends, people from Hogwarts, and people she didn't know.
Including Marissa and James.
Yeah, I take a lot of time to reply... and it's bad. anyway, sorry for the very very very very very big delay

Oopies!
This was nice, just hugging and making sure your friend was ok. Marissa wondered if all friends did this, she was not so sure as she did not really have friends back at home. Then James pulled away slightly, but kept hugging her. Marissa saw that he finally spotted the small lump. Damnit, you should have been more careful. Now he will think you look weird. Mari mentally facepalmed at her mistake.
Then James outstretched his hand as if he was going to touch the sore spot. Marissa thought to instantly grab his hand so he would not touch it. She was scared that he was going to hurt her. But then he stopped and asked if he could look. She nodded slowly, and pulled away from the hug. She kept one arm around him nervously for comfort and she prepared herself.
It was nice that he cared at least, someone was there for her. She looked worried for a moment but moved her hair behind her ears so he could get a better look of the wound. Suddenly Marissa heard a thump and turned around. She saw Ava fall onto a bed. She must have been exhausted so Mariss glanced towards her one last time before looking back to James. She wondered why Ava felt exhausted.

Marissa nodded that James could touch her forehead, inspecting her wound. She put her hair behind her ear, and James got slight butterflies, but ignored them. He reached forward and softly put his fingers, not on the bump, but to the side of it. Marissa's skin was smooth and cool as he touched it/
James gently, and as softly as he could, traced slowly around the bump, not touching it.
"Tell me when and if it hurts." James said after a moment.
James lightly slid his fingers to the side, making ever so light contact with the bump. He brought back his hand, about to ask if it hurt, when he became aware of the fact that Ava had just fainted on the floor. Or, something of that sort. James was about to get up and help her, but finally, after however long they had been in the Hospital Wing, the nurse finally came and helped by picking up Ava and setting her on a bed on the other side of the one James and Marissa were on. The nurse then turned to face them.
"What have you all been doing?" she asked. "Why is everyone fainting and falling unconscious!?"
James drew his hand away from Marissa, blushing.
"Well, there was an incident on the Grounds that involved falling out of a tree, so we came here, but for some reason, the Hospital Wing is on the Third Floor, and one of us was already unconscious, so we had to carry her up, and then the one who carried her up was exhausted and passed out once we got here, and now, our third party member had fainted."
James said this all in a matter-of-factly tone, because he was suddenly kinda annoyed at the fact that the nurse hasn't been here this entire time. He inwardly flinched at his tone, though.

Marissa looked at James with curiosity as he slowly traced his finger across her forehead. She tried not to giggle as she saw how concentrated he was. But the giggling once stopped as soon as James made contact with the bump. Without thinking, Marissa snatched James' hand away. Looking down, she realised she was still holding his hand. She yelped and let go immediately, trying not to look embarrassed or hurt. But then James nearly got up being a nurse finally appeared. Marissa sighed in relief as they were finally going to be seen.
She blushed slightly as she realised that her and James were sitting on the same bed together as the nurse walked in. When she started to shout, Marissa flinched as a growing headache began to take place. She then looked over to James who was also blushing, this made her feel a tiny bit better. The nurse set Ava onto her own bed before bombarding James and Marissa with questions. Luckily, James was able to answer them and tell the nurse what had happen. What made Mari feel a tiny bit more nervous was the way James said it.. with a slight attitude.
Finally the nurse walked over to Marissa and inspected all of her wounds. She had a couple stitches done on the back of her head. Mari sniffled as she had these done, tears welling up in her eyes. Not even thinking, Marissa held James' hands for support. She just needed someone there until this stopped. Finally it did stop and the nurse gave James an ice pack for his sprained ankle and Marissa one as well for the bump on her head. Mari wiped away a tear as her bump was throbbing slightly as she held the ice pack up to it.
Now that the nurse was gone, Marissa turned back to James with a slight smile. They barely knew each other but it seemed like they bonded over getting hurt. She felt the back of her head which had a barely noticeable stitch that would dissolve away within a few days. Mari looked towards James' ankle, which still made her feel guilty for falling on top of him. "S-s-sorry a-about t-that." She gave him a nervous smile as she put her hair behind her ears again.

The nurse finally treated to James, Marissa, and Ava's wounds. Before James really even knew what was happening, the nurse was giving Marissa stitches on the back of her head. James' insides churned nastily. Needles and things similar did not sit well with him. James squeezed his eyes shut, and angled himself away so he wouldn't have to watch. He felt Marissa's hand reach for his, and he accepted it, letting her squeeze his hand with the pain. After it was over, the nurse gave them both ice packs for Marissa's head and James' ankle. James was grateful, but he honestly didn't feel that bad anymore. Just tired and exhausted.
"S-s-sorry a-about t-that." Marissa said. James looked at her, and then saw she was referring to his leg. Marissa smiled nervously at him and brushed her hair back behind her ears. James smiled back at her.
"Marissa, it's okay." James told her again. "Don't worry about it." He looked over at Ava, unconscious on the bed next to them. "I think Ava might feel worse than either of us right now." James said. "She probably feels really bad and guilty about what happened. We should cheer her up when she wakes up."
