      Damn, was he heavy.

With a single hand, she forced open the grand Hospital Door, pursued by her two companions, carrying a limp body. A microscopic blood trail leaked behind them, the blood slowly clotting in the boy's wounds. It wasn't fast enough. She wasn't fast enough. She gritted her teeth, barking like an authoritarian prefect. "We have injured students!"

Hospital elves seemed to spark to life, their attention now on the group of students who (so rudely) barged in. A few rushed over and took the raven-haired boy from the three, giving their arms time to rest and their minds to brush over what had happened. Lucette took in gulping breaths, finally letting it settle in: a student nearly beat another to a bloody pulp right in front of her eyes. She glanced over at the boy who had now been placed on the bed with several nurses around him, rapidly speaking and hurrying to save him from his current state. Looking down at her hands, the red blood stains reeked and stung her eyes with tears. This wasn't supposed to happen. Not on her watch. How could she have failed as a perfect so hard? She couldn't let this shake her, however, so she wiped away those tears, and she turned to the short pupil with a scowl. "Grab a chair and sit down. You may not be going to the Headmaster's Office, but you have no idea how much trouble you're in." She ran a hand through her messy hair, before lightening her tone and turning to the tall, lanky boy. Bearing an inquisitive look, she spoke. "Are you alright though? You could sit down if you'd like, and I'll call a nurse to come look at you."

Everything was hurting

Ezekiel felt every movement as they brought him to the hospital, every time the jostled him the sharp pain rippled through his body. He groaned as the laid onto the bed, his arms dangling off the sides of the bed. He was saved, by the Slytherin girl, whoever she was, and the boy who had fallen on top of him. The nurses quickly surrounded him, trying to save him and bandage him up. Trying to stop as much as the bleeding as possible.

"I'm gonna die here. Right here on this bed, surrounded by people trying to save me, I'm gonna die..." He thought to himself, whimpering as he was shifted around as the nurses wrapped all around his chest in bandages, dabbing wet rags on his face and cleaning away the blood. He was on the verge of tears. He was questioning how he was still conscious, and he could tell the nurses were too, and honestly, Ezekiel would prefer to be out cold at this point. He wouldn't be able to feel any of the pain he was being forced into. Ezekiel tried to speak, "A-a-am I..." but was quickly silenced by one of the nurses, telling him to keep quiet to save whatever energy he had left.

Somehow, someway, Kreszentia was...actually shocked by the behavior of the Slytherin girl who thought she could order her around. Well, thought would imply that she wasn't successful. She absolutely was. In fact, Krez couldn't even figure out why she bothered to listen to this frail-looking student. She was pretty sure she could put her in the same situation as the boy now on the hospital bed, but part of her held her back. Whether it was because of Kludd's presence, or from some part of herself that was actually intimidated by the other girl was something Krez didn't exactly want to think about.

Oddly obedient, Krez did as she was told and found a seat, climbing up and sitting in it cross-legged as some kind of small act of defiance. She crossed her arms as the prefect turned her attention to Kludd, giving her a moment to breathe and take in the situation more seriously. She had whipped that kid's ass. Like, nearly broke his entire ribcage, internal bleeding, bust up his face levels of a beatdown. It kind of made her a little proud of herself, at least for a split second. No one else was happy about this, clearly. There was potential for all sorts of punishments because of this though. Expulsion probably, or maybe just a letter home and a solid switching waiting for her once break started. She shuddered at the thought of the last one.
Krez watched the nurses fret and scurry about, trying to stop the bleeding and clean him up to the best of their abilities, her handiwork causing some real ruckus around here. For a second, she cringed thinking about it. His groans of pain and the sheer amount of blood produced from him were not what she really anticipated having to deal with. Not that she felt guilty about it or anything, she just maybe...didn't want to be responsible for her actions, thats all.

Kludd rubbed his arms after the kid had been taken out of his and the prefect girls hands. They were kinda sore after carrying the poor injured guy all the way here from the library, on top of already feelin' pretty bad from his fall, and being slammed into the bookshelf.

He watched as the nurses tended to the boy, lost in thought about the whole situation. For one, he realized he'd greatly underestimated Krez. Not that he didn't doubt she was strong, as she just seemed like the type, but that level of violence kind of terrified him. Nonetheless, he was sure she meant well- although he couldn't be sure what was running through her head, the situation may have seemed quite a bit different to her. The kid did shove him off a little hard, if the dull pain still present in his head was any indicator. But that reaction seemed a little much. He guessed he'd have to talk to her about it later, if he could even get anything out of her. Thinking about it, he hadn't heard a word from her yet, and he doubted this situation was gonna change that. Still, wouldn't hurt to try he supposed. But it could wait.

For now, he was just assessing the sheer amount of damage she'd done to the poor guy. He was pretty shocked the dude was still alive, let alone conscious. He wondered how long it would take for him to recover. A few months, if his ribs were actually broken, which they must of been, right? And his face was busted up too, would it look the same when he recovered? Had she broken his nose or something?  There was just a lot there and he wasn't really sure if he wanted to know all the answers.

He realized the prefect girl was talking to him, and he'd missed a bit of what she said. Something about a nurse checking on him, so she must have been wondering if he was okay.
"Oh, um, I think i'm pretty alright.. Though I would like someone to double check, at least just a quick spell to make the pain go away.. my head still hurts pretty bad. Heh. But its not an urgent thing, I can wait until they get him taken care of."
He said, gesturing vaguely in the direction of the more injured kid. He went and sat down beside Krez, resting his head against the wall and waiting for one of the nurses to have a moment to check up on him.

Lucette let out a hefty sigh, before her eyes met the eyes of the gremlin. She could tell that they did not like the fact that they had to listen to her, of all people. Inner Lucette cringed; she had never been in a situation that called for her to scold someone before, although with a job like this it was guaranteed inevitable. She found the whole situation funny anyway: an eleven year old reprimanding another eleven year old like it was all some sort of pretend game of house. Lucette's eyes were tempted to narrow as the small child's form showed defiance, but she wouldn't like to give them the instant satisfaction of her going off. She knew that withholding the angry reaction that gave people satisfaction was quite annoying. She learned that from her years with Pete. They would have nothing else to do but wait there until Lucette acknowledged them, and she wouldn't let that happen any time soon. She ignored the coated figure, turning her head towards the tall boy who had moved to sit beside them. "I-I'm pretty sure one of the nurses could check you now....

She turned to the closest hospital attendant, who had heard her little comment. They said something along the lines of "Sorry, we need everyone to help out" and hurried off. Lucette grimaced, turning her heard back to the boy who laid on the most active hospital bed. Just seeing the hints of blood everywhere made her a bit sick to her stomach, and she turned back to the boy in front of her, trying not to gag.

He still needed help, and the thought of him sitting there while injured made her restless. She instinctively stepped forward, before catching herself and hesitating. She spoke softly, a bit unsure of herself. "A-Ah... I could check our your injuries, if you'd like. I've got a little brother at home, and you have no idea what messes that lil' rascal gets himself into..." She chuckled awkwardly, trying to diffuse the tension in the atmosphere. She hoped it was at least... working a little.

All he could hear was rushed whispers and the occasional mention of his name to make sure he was still conscious.

He hardly moved after being set onto the table, to be fair, he wouldn't even if he could. He hurt too much to even attempt at looking around. His eyes darted around, however, not enough to catch faces, just enough to gather his surroundings. He was in the hospital wing, surrounded by nurses and doctors, all trying to make sure he was bandaged and trying to stop whatever blood was leaking from his body. Meanwhile, all Ezekiel could think was either, "This is it, this is where I meet my end." or, "Why won't they give me more painkillers I wear to whatever deity you worship I will end you if this pain doesn't stop." He has a violent reaction to pain, to place it nicely.

Every time there was a space between the nurses and looked through and saw them. The Slytherin girl, Hufflepuff boy, and Gryffindor... Thing He couldn't tell if they were a boy or a girl at this point, all he knew is he was still afraid, even with this many adults, in a place as safe as this. Fear was always prominent.

Krez was pleased to see the prefect giving Kludd some proper attention after all this time. Besides, it really wasn't just the Slytherin boy who was hurt! What did they think she jumped him for anyway? So busy pulling her off the other boy they didn't even take into account who she was defending in the first place! The nerve, she thought.
As she continued to pretend to be disinterested in the rushing nurses and the conversation happening right beside her, the mention of a little sibling caught her interest. To know the other girl had a sibling at home, one that she apparently had to keep out of trouble on occasion, confused Krez. One would think she would sympathize with a situation like this, or at least understand where she was coming from on some level. Someone you care about getting knocked around like a ragdoll wasn't just something you could excuse, was it? Why was she so livid with Kreszentia then?

Krez's brow furrowed as she uncrossed her arms and legs, sitting properly in her seat just so she could kick her legs while she was thinking about it more. It was frustrating, that was obvious, but it just confounded her more than anything. Now she felt cheated. There had to be some way she could explain herself because as much as she didn't want to have to do it, she was starting to wonder if anyone in this situation understood the method to her madness.
She looked at the prefect with curiosity replacing the lingering anger on her expression, waiting for her to do what she needed to do with Kludd semi-patiently. She was eager to talk for once in her life, but she wasn't going to interrupt any care being given to her companion.

Kludd continued to watch all the nurses tend to the injured kid, who he still didn't know the name of, and regretted that fact. He doubted either of the other two did either though, so it wasn't really worth it to ask he felt like. Didn't matter that much at the moment anyway. Its not like he was going to talk to him, at least not now, even if he wanted to he couldn't due to his injured state.

He perked up a bit hearing the slytherin prefect girl speak to him again, saying that one of the nurses could check up on him now.
"Um, its alright, I really can wait. I think they've got their hands full..."
Sure enough, the girl was quickly shut down by one of the medical staff. Which he had anticipated. It was really fine, its not like he was the one dying. A little pain wasn't unmanageable.

Once again he allowed his mind to wander wherever it may, staring off into space. He thought to himself that he should probably start bringing his wand places. It would sure save him a lot of trouble in the long run. But it was just so massive to the small boy, that he wondered what the best way to carry it would be. He didn't want to bring his bag everywhere with him... Perhaps he should just get a special bag for his wand. He could send a letter home and ask his mom to make him one. Maybe thats what he would do. But it seemed like a lot of trouble when he knew he'd grow into it one day anyway.

The girls concerned voice pulled him back out of his own head. He chuckled softly at her comment about her brother, and nodded his head gently.
"That'd be really nice, thank you. I know a spell that would help out, and I could do it myself, but my wand is back up in my dorm. My brother gets himself hurt a fair bit too, heh, though we're the same age." He told her, before scooting up and sitting at the edge of the chair he was in, adjusting himself so she could see the area where he'd hit his head on the shelf. There was no way to assess the damage under his mass of fluffy hair, but she did offer, so, he thought he might as well just show her. "I dunno if there's even anything visible back there, it just kinda hurts..."

Lucette's hands began brushing away his long locks and she smiled a bit. "W-Well, there's no harm in trying, eh? Besides, I've seen my fair share of scrapes since my lil' brother likes to be a little troublemaker like... your friend here." She turned her head to Krez, an eyebrow raised. "Although, not exactly like your friend." She didn't want the student to feel attacked, so she chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. Her hands shifted through the soft hair, before coming to the spot where she assumed he had hit his head. It was slightly pink, but no indication of actually being severe or bleeding. "Looks like you'll be fine," she mumbled. "But I'll have a nurse look at you when some availability pops up. "

She looked at the Slytherin Boy, who seemed to be groaning in pain and slipping in and out of consciousness. She gritted her teeth, before calling over to a nurse. "Do you mind if I take the boy's file after it's ready? His parents will need to be informed about this incident." The nurse, a bit agitated by some little girl bossing her around, hurried off. Lucette bit her lip, looking at the boy. The nurses had already begun using potions and spells to repair everything that has been damaged.

She then turned her attention to the blonde, who seemed a bit agitated. Lucette's own frustration dulled a bit, so she wouldn't come off as a tyrant to her peers. She approached them, pulling out a chair of her own and sitting in front of them. "I don't suppose you have siblings at home...? I doubt that you'd roughhouse like this..." She trailed off, her words falling into a small chuckle, one to lighten the atmosphere instead of being condescending. "Mind if I ask your name?

The nurses rushed around him, potions and bandages, potions and bandages. The only words he managed to understand around him. He had lost the feeling in his ribs, but his face still ached. He heard something mumbled about a possibly permanent scar, and he was not excited about that in the slightest. He caught glimpses of prefect girl who had saved him, as well as the others. The Hufflepuff and Gryffindor students. The Gryffindor seemed super protective over the taller Hufflepuff from what small things he could see. Maybe that's why... He thought to himself, into much pain to try and utter words.

Ezekiel's only words were soft mumbles as he finally drifted unconscious. Indeterminable mumbling was all it really was. He was left with his thoughts about the outside world, still being able to hear around him. "Where are those bandages? We need enough to make some sort of cushion so he can lay on his stomach." Why make a cushion from bandages? Sounds like wasting material to me... He heard the prefect girl across the room between silent moments, talking to the other students in the room. Ezekiel wanted to thank her, thousands of times over. He just hoped he got the chance.
