The abandoned bathrooms were not my favorite place to linger, but they were out of the way and they were not frequented by a large portion of the student body. The exception being of course the deviant population with whom I felt safer with as strange as that was to admit. The deviant population in Hogwarts might be prone to violence or egregious acts of stupidity, but they did not want to hurt me in particular.

I was waiting here for Vladimir to show up. At seven in the evening we do an exchange, I give him one bag and he gives me another. It was mostly laundry as well as a fresh blanket. The brisk Scottish air was abating, however the nights still had an icy chill and the corners of the castle I had found refuge in were far from sanitary. Marion was having a hard time with it too I was certain. I had not seen much of her since the spider incident. Vladimir said he had seen her around, just not that much but that he was 'doing all that he could to ease our difficult situation.' It was really unfair of me, well of us to depend on him so much but we really had nobody else to turn to.
This is one of two threads for the Slytherin House cup. So any Slytherin is able to join this. Unknown to Victor, there is a note on the Slytherin common room door that says:
Victor Moore will be in the Abandoned Bathrooms at 5pm on Tuesday.
Today being Tuesday. The note was on the door most of the day, unwilling to budge or be ripped off for those that wished to pocket the information for just themselves. Of the two, Victor is the most timid. What you do know is that he was there for the spider incursion and that he had heard something before the attack. When his fellow Slytherins started to eye him as a potential cause and culprit, he fled warning Marion to lock herself in before he did the same. Since then, he has been absent as has Marion.

Opeila was the first person to find the note and she immediately went to the abandoned bathroom, hoping that she wouldn't find half of the house terrorizing the boy.
She had already assumed, that he had gone threw something different back then, when he heard those noises and, according to Jack, also his body changed.
The first year had left the note where it was. If she was walking into some sort of trap, others would come eventually. But for now, she hoped for a moment alone with Victor. What if he knew something?

Carefully she opened the door to the abandoned bathroom. Like always, she first looked at the mirror, that she broke a few months ago. She had been so angry and hurt back then. And then she saw Victor. Suddenly she was unsure. What should she do? Clearly he was scared, when he thought that he had to hide from his house. Quietly she closed the door behind her. "I'm alone.", she said, not sure wether she should calm him or do anything else.
"Can I ask you a few questions?", the little girl asked him, making a few steps into the room. "About the other night?" Opeila was sure that he would understand what night she was talking about.

Percival had been sitting in the common room reading the newest addition of the daily prophet, his mind sucking in the latest news of the wizarding world. When he looked to the corner of the page something caught his eye, not on the newspaper but on a door not far from where he was sitting. His curiosity peaked as he slowly lowered the paper and looks directly at the small looking note "What is this now..." he grunted to himself while standing up from the comfy seat and folding up his newspaper. The entrance to the common room was slowly closing from someone recently entering, if that wasn't the case he probably wouldn't of saw the parchment in the first place. When he got close enough he prevented the door from closing, before going around and examining the note "Victor Moore will be in the Abandoned Bathrooms at 5pm on Tuesday."

The name didn't really ring a bell with at first, but it was always worth the time in seeing what this was all about. With his folded newspaper in pocket he took his time to arrive at the toilets, interested as to who and why they put a note on the door. He could hear some talking from the inside as he drew closer, from a girl to be exact "Can I ask you a few questions, About the other night?" she asked while slowly making her way further inside the room. Percy would slowly follow suit, unknowing if both knew he was there. Eventually, he got far enough to see who the other person was. The look of him almost made him recognise who the boy was, it was the coward... "Well well, if it isn't the bloody coward..." scowled Percy, who stood behind the girl and folded his arms, unimpressed by the mere sight of him "I think you have some explaining to do Victor, unless you're thinking of slithering' your way out again"

Dan made his way toward his destination. He had found a note that refused to be removed saying
"Victor Moore will be in the Abandoned Bathrooms at 5 pm on Tuesday."
Dan had been DYING to get at Victor since the spider incident in the Slytherin Common Room.
The little weasel ran to the Boys Dorm as soon as things got bad so he could hide, leaving the rest of the house to die for all he cared. And acts of betrayal and cowardice like that did NOT go unpunished in Slytherin.
And oooooooh the punishment Dan had planned. A shame he wasnt on the grounds, so that Dan could hurl him into the lake to give the giant squid some playtime. He supposed beating the hell out of him via magic, fists and feet would have to do.

He opened the door to the abandoned toilets, and found two other people were there already. This mildly upset him; he had hoped to have Victor all to himself for a few minutes. But, there was nothing to be done about it, so he just entered.

"Well well, what do we have here?"
Dan brandished his wand, and twirled it about his fingers before stopping, the wand pointing dead at Victor.

"Afternoon, Victor."

Dan drew closer. His pupils dilated slightly, and he had a rather unnerving smile on his face.

"Lets have a chat, shall we? 'Bout the other night. Ya know which night I mean, surely."

Jack nearly slid into the bathroom with how quickly he tried to get there after reading the note on the common room door. Naturally, he wanted to get to the bottom of things as much as anyone else, but he had a feeling some people weren't going to go about it the right way. The memory of Dan going after Victor the night of the spiders came to mind.

The redhead wasn't in the best of shape himself, it seemed, which was peculiar because he had remained virtually unscathed the night of the spider attack aside from a few falls. However, now his movements were jerky and he winced every so often, as if each movement caused him pain. Regardless of his state, however, and despite his loathing to play 'hero', he was not about to let his more foolish housemates ruin this for everyone else.

Wand out, he moved to stand between the two pairs of students - Opeila and Victor behind him, Dan and Percival in front. Though he wasn't too familiar with the other Slytherin boys, he didn't seem intimidated by them in the least.

"We're all bloody cowards, you moron," Jack told the younger of his two opponents, rolling his eyes. "It's called 'self-preservation'. That's why slithering out of trouble is a trait that's valued in our house. Or were you sorted into the wrong one, attempting to use intimidation tactics like those bull-headed Gryffindors?"

The sight of Dan's wand caused the first-year to raise his own. "Don't make me freeze you, half-wit," he warned the loud-mouth. "We can have a chat just fine without you trying to scare the pants off an already terrified housemate."

From one moment to the other, two of her housemates, who's names she didn't know, entered the room.
She sighed, a little annoyed. "I... I was alone." Now this would get complicated, she was sure of it.
And she was right. The entrance the boys made was definitely threatening. Opeila had been bitten three times by those goddamn spiders, so how could she blame Victor for saving himself? Wether he knew what was going on or not? She couldn't.
But her housemate's did.
There went her plan to have a friendly chat with Victor and calmly ask him some questions.
Thanks a lot, idiots.

"Are. You. Kidding?", she said slowly, turning around to the other boys. "No need for this. Kindly knock it off." She talked to Dan especially.
Oh Jesus, she just hoped that this wouldn't escalate into some sort of house conflict. That wouldn't help at all. She'd definitely follow her plan. Threats wouldn't convince the boy, she believed. If the others were to attack him, physically or verbally, she'd defend him. She'd gain his trust and get some answers that way.

She didn't expect it to go like this, though, with two people who seemed ready to take some sort of stupid revenge on Victor and her being alone with her opinion.

Opeila was relieved when Jack entered as well. At least one person, who she could definitely say of that he was somewhere intelligent.
She noticed his strange movements immediately and frowned. The spiders didn't attack him, she was sure oft that, so what happened? She'd ask him later.

It worried her when he took his wand out, moving between them- why did boys seem to need things to become violent so much?- but she couldn't help an amused little smile, when he started to talk. Yap, she had hoped for something like that.
At least everything but the threatening part. The girl sighed again and rolled her eyes.
"Right, why don't you all take- whatever this is- outside? The last thing we need here, is a housefight. Wasn't the spider incident enough horror and fighting for... I don't know... at least a year? Calm down, everyone." Like Jack had said, there was a terrified housemate in there, who didn't need to see something as unnecessary as this.

Savannah entered the Abandoned Bathroom, hoping to be alone and having a safe to write a new song of hers, but she was wrong, there were other students in there, all in her house. Savannah looked at the kids awkwardly, “Shoot” she thought “It’s 5pm on Tuesday” Sav remembered a note on the Common Room door saying that a boy named Victor would be there. All Annah wanted was a empty room to herself, just to write some song lyrics, but Annah thought I wasn’t important at the moment. Savannah played with her locket for a second and then noticed one of the boys there took his wand out and pointed it at another boy "Afternoon, Victor" said the boy, Annah’s eyes widened “Why’re ye doing that!? What did he do to ye?” she knew it wasn’t her business why the boy was doing that but Savannah was quite nosy. Then Annah remembered, there was a spider incedent a few day ago, maybe he got mad at the boy. Savannah took her hair out of the big bun for a second, letting all her bushy hair down and put it back up, her hair had been pulled back too tight and it hurt her head quite a lot. “Now” she sighed “What has happened here?”

He was waiting for Vladimir in their usual place. He was usually on time but today he was late. Victor was feeling a bit anxious about this fact as he paced back and forth in the abandoned bathroom. "There you are, I have--" He cut himself short when he realized the person entering was not who he had expected. It was a girl. Victor froze at the sight of her and took a step away. his hand lowered as he reached for his waistband.

"Crap..."

He muttered. It was some girl. He did not want her hurt her with his manly strength but the urge to take flight was strong with him. It was a basic notion: this idea of self-preservation in response to fear. He was no fool, he heard them talking about him and Marion in that common room, blaming them. He heard that a lot of people were hurt.

"I'm alone."

She assured him. He gave her a doubtful look as she entered the abandoned baths. Most guys would be elated that some cute girl wanted to talk to them, but not Victor. Victor saw her as a threat. As a harbinger of doom.

"Can I ask you a few questions?"

She continued. Yeah, she was here for him. Well, she was here for something. He took a step back, towards the far wall, away from her as he gave the Slytherin a wide breadth.

"About the other night?"

His breathing started to pick up, his heart was racing. "W-what about the o-other night," he stammered as he took another half-step back. A looming shadow would cast over her as she asked the question, @Opeila Seilum was not alone. Why would he have expected her to tell the truth in that regard. He shook a bit, his fingers inching towards his wand.

"Well well, if it isn't the bloody coward..."

A larger, more imposing Slytherin announced as he stood behind the girl. Not good. Not good at all! He did not know @Percival Gray, not well at least. He had a mean look about him, from his scowling face to his crossed arms and his imposing stance. Unlike Victor, Percival was not nervous at all.

"I... I was alone."

Opeila muttered, not that Victor believed her.

"I think you have some explaining to do Victor, unless you're thinking of slithering' your way out again"

"Explain?" He repeated with a nervous laugh. The sort where you are desperately trying to not hyperventilate. "I dunno what you're talking about." He forced another laugh as he stepped further away only to feel the cold stone wall hugging his back.

"Well well, what do we have here?"

A third voice would call out. He was absolutely fucked. A third entered the bathroom, apparently this was a gank. He already had his wand drawn. "Guys," he did not have the time or the presence of mind to be gender-inclusive. "Guys, I don't want any trouble..." He claimed, his voice shaking.

"Afternoon, Victor."

@Dan Palmer made his way into the room, around the two that had already stationed themselves within the confines of the abandoned bathrooms. There was a maddened expression on his face, this smile. This evidence of adrenaline running through the young sociopath that joined his peers, he could see it in his eyes. His wide, dilated eyes. As he, Dan, moved closer Victor's form would stiffen.

"Lets have a chat, shall we? 'Bout the other night. Ya know which night I mean, surely."

"I don't know anything!" Victor protested, in fact he seemed to plea. Dan was the sort of person that you don't easily forget. After all he was the reason he barricaded himself in the dorm room, the reason he cried out for Marion to do the same.

"Are. You. Kidding?"

Opeila slowly stated in a pointed tone. The question of course rhetorical in this game of perhaps good cop-bad cop. Still, if that was the plan, it was better than a pummeling. The gears in the young snakes head started to turn as he tried to determine a way to get out of this. He was not as clever as a Ravenclaw but he wished he was.

"No need for this. Kindly knock it off."

The room was attracting Slytherins like an iHOP next to a Jenny Craig attracted customers. Another boy, a ginger this time, would enter. He recognized this one a bit more because they were dorm mates, not that they ever spoke more than in passing.

"We're all bloody cowards, you moron."

@Jack Burnett rebuked the other two Slytherin boys.

"It's called 'self-preservation'. That's why slithering out of trouble is a trait that's valued in our house. Or were you sorted into the wrong one, attempting to use intimidation tactics like those bull-headed Gryffindors?"

It was called not letting Dan or any of the other crazy ass Slytherins kick my or Marion's ass. Of course Victor lacked the balls to actually say that out-loud.

"Don't make me freeze you, half-wit."

Victor's unlikely shining knight threatened as he raised his own wand in a tense standoff.

"We can have a chat just fine without you trying to scare the pants off an already terrified housemate."

Who was the terrified house mate? He was, right? Pants on. Hopefully staying on

"Right, why don't you all take- whatever this is- outside? The last thing we need here, is a housefight. Wasn't the spider incident enough horror and fighting for... I don't know... at least a year? Calm down, everyone."

"I-I didn't do anything," Victor insisted. "I am just trying to stay away from... all of you," for exactly this reason.

Another girl, one he did not know, @Savannah Griffis would enter the bathroom acting dumbfounded. She might have walked into the wrong room at the wrong time.
Actions: Victor has backed himself against the far wall, as far as possible from the Slytherins that have entered the bathroom.

Kara had seem the note on the door of the Slytherin common room and had become interested. She decided to go, although, she'd be a little late.

Kara was gone during the time that spiders had invaded the Slytherin common room and the rest of the dungeons, for she was at her foster sister's funeral. Kara wondered if anything else was going happen that could kill her, but she didn't want to seem weak.

Instead of going to the other girl in the Owlery, she instead came to the Abandoned Toilets, where she thought it would be eerier than just a tower, and since, she was afraid of falling off the tower.

She arrived to see Victor backed against the wall, looking scared.

"What's going on here?" She said to the group of many Slytherins.

Were they hurting him? No, Opelia was there, and she didn't think Opelia would hurt someone in her own house, let alone a third year.

"Hey," She said, nearing Victor with her silky voice, but keeping her distance "Are you ok? Has something happened?"

Kara always was a little jumpy, but she wondered, did he even know about the note?

"Well, it seems that you don't know." She said.

Before waiting for an inquiry from Victor, she continued.

"There was a note on the Slytherin common room door that said to go to either the Abandoned Toilets or the Owlery to get your reward for the House Cup. It also said that Victor and Marion would be waiting for us, and since you're as scared as a rat locked in a cage, I started to believe you didn't know about this, so I told you." Kara said, slathering on a thick, warm tone, trying to see if she could calm Victor down.

She sighed and looked at Opelia, and then at the others around here, hoping he would get the message that they weren't going to hurt him.

Dan jerked his head to face Jack. He had heard Pei talking, but he mainly tuned her out the moment Jack opened his stupid mouth.
Was he actually defending this little slug? When HE was present when he ran away for no reason?

"I think ye got yer facts wrong, mate. Lemme clue ye in on some. Cowardice is not a valued trait in Slytherin. Or ANY house. CUNNING is our valued trait. Theres not a damned thing cunning about runnin' away like a field mouse and barricadin yerself in a dorm, leavin' yer dormmates ta die fer all ye care."

At Jack's threat, Dan cocked his head slightly. Did Jack... actually think he could take him in a duel?

"If yer that eager to wake up in the Hospital Wing, I'll take ye up on that offer another time. I have no intention'a hurtin' Victor. Yet. I wanna hear the little bastard explain himself. I'll decide what I'll do to him after he spills his guts. Figuratively. I said we'd have a chat, an' that's what I f@#$&$' meant. I won't hurt him yet, but I ain't lettin him scuttle off again either."

Dan was dimly aware of two other girls that came in, but neither seemed to address him directly,so he paid them no mind. Instead, he turned back to Victor.

"Now out with it. Ye were the only one besides Marion that said ye were hearin' shite. I ain't blamin' ye fer siccin' spiders on us, that was Elena's dumbass fault. What I'm blaim YE fer, is runnin' out on us when yer a goddamned THIRD year, knew more spells than the bulk of us, prolly had some healin' spells, but no. Ye turned right around an' ran, and didn't care if the lot of us died. On top o' that, ye didn't even have the balls to fess up to yer mistake, and been hidin' out in god knows where, prayin' no one finds ye. That, is somethin' no innocent man would do. Coupled with how ye claimed yer hearin' shite, and it all just SCREAMS that yer hidin' somethin'. So out with it."

Dan locked his wand on Victor, but made no movements, nor spoke any incantations. True to his word, he would not attack. This was entirely to show Victor that he was serious.
