Imma just RP my first entry into the club, k?

Devil’s Prank Club. That was the name of the club Piérre had just received an owl from Maggie about.

He had been locked in his dorm room for the past two days, choosing to play hooky instead of attend classes. He knew he would be in trouble, and would definitely get detention for it, but he didn’t care. Romeo was gone, and Piérre was infuriated and sad and confused, and another great number of emotions that his little eleven-year-old body couldn’t comprehend or contain. He had buried himself under his bedsheets, willing himself to be smothered in the pillows or the blankets. He just didn’t want to move or talk or get up or eat. Above all, Piérre didn’t want to write a letter demanding explanation from Romeo and Mathilda. He had done none of those things during his time away from the real world.

He was like that when Zelda, Piérre’s favorite owl, came rapping on his window, carrying a letter with a scarlet seal. It didn’t look like a Howler, fortunately.

Groaning and forcing his body to move, Piérre rolled off the bunk, smacking the latch on his window to make it open and let the breathtakingly beautiful white and speckled black owl flutter in and land on the edge of his bunk.

”What do you want, Zel?” Piérre groaned, plucking the letter from the owl, who ruffled her feathers at her receiver’s apprehension. No doubt it was a letter informing him that he had received a detention for missing classes two days in a row.

Piérre was not enthused at the prospect of opening it and confirming his hunch. Piérre was about to flick the letter aside with a sigh, when Zelda suddenly lunged and pecked the knuckle of Piérre index finger, shrieking angrily and scattering down across Piérre’s bedsheets.

”OUCH! HEY! What was that for?!” Piérre barked at Zelda, beginning to suck at his knuckle, which was beginning to bleed.

Zelda hooted once, and then began to tear at the letter. Piérre spotted a glitter of gold inside. It looked like it wasn’t a letter from administration...

Piérre gingerly fingered the envelope, still sucking on his finger. Peeling it open with his other hand, he was swiftly assaulted with an explosion of rainbow confetti and glitter. A prank envelope, great.

Piérre was about to flop back onto his bed, when his eyes suddenly widened at the implication of the envelope.

A prank letter?

Thoroughly excited, Piérre tipped it open, reading the contents greedily.

It had been sent by Maggie Parker! Piérre hadn’t talked to her or anyone else since Romeo had left three days ago. Maybe she had sent it to cheer Piérre up?

No... A prank club?

A newfound thrill sang through Piérre’s veins. Pranking?!

A smile slowly crept across his face, and he glanced at Zelda, giddiness rising in his chest.

”Perhaps a good old prank or two is what the doctor prescribed...” Piérre whispered, ruffling Zelda’s fluffy feathers.

Piérre was soon in front of the door to the location assigned, dressed in a vivid scarlet cloak and tunic with brown leather bracers. By happenstance, it was a costume he had been one year for Muggle Halloween, a red Link from Legends of Zelda. While Piérre was upset that he was in his house colors for no reason whatsoever, he chalked it up to the fact that he was still feeling not up to snuff emotionally yet.

Still, Maggie must have cared a lot to invite him here, and Piérre wasn’t about to turn down an invitation to cause wanton mischief for no reason.

Pushing open the door, Piérre walked in, lowering the hood of his cloak.

He hoped that this would be worth his time. Maybe it would put a permanent smile on his face, enough to wipe away the melancholy look of slight fear and anxiety which now dominated his features.

I thought we could maybe recreate some of the pranks Jim did on the Office? I was thinking either on Professors or pureblood elitists, ‘cause they’d have no clue what would be going on, y’know?
