@Mezarim Sterling[font=Arial Narrow]The smell of old and new books alike filled the air, almost blocking out the somewhat closed-in and dusty smell that accompanied it. Large windows allowed sunshine to sneak inside and making beautiful patterns on the floor, the golden accents on the book-cases almost hitting some students in the eye at times as the day passed on. Footsteps could be heard as well as whispers, students huddled together by a book as they snickered with their friends at the content; a sixth-year frowning as he looks at the Transfiguration homework before him; his sister filling it in with ease in the wooden chair next to him. It was peaceful, almost serene and poetic in its own glory and Primrose wondered why she didn't spend more time in there, hand brushing against the books as she walked; curiously stopping to read a title now and then.

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛
She was there to find a book for Defense Against the Dark Arts, while it was far from her worst subject she felt rather unsure about what the difference between ghosts and non-beings even where, if there was one. The Professors could only do so much to help her and the Hufflepuff could only remember so much from the lesson itself with her notes currently missing. A frown appeared on her face as she stopped, removing her hand from the bookshelf and looking around. No luck, yet she had been in here for hours. The sound of rain starting to hit the library windows distracted her slightly, her eyes focusing on just how quickly the weather changed from sunshine to a rather extreme down-pour.
Primrose muttered something she barely understood, trying to convey her annoyance to nobody but the books and corridors as she swiftly turned around, causing a Slytherin boy to drop the book he was holding; a soft thud as it met it's untimely fate.
''Oh- Sorry'' The girl stated with a slight heat crawling to her face, the library was the worst place to bump into people; mainly because she was rather certain it almost always caused chaos and she could very well remember Louis getting challenged to Wizards chess in here- to which he tried to cheat so he could win over a Ravenclaw. She was awful at chess, magical or not so she was hoping there would be no fight for glory today-maybe tomorrow. Prim leaned down, picking up the book and curiously reading the cover 'Pure-blood Directory'. A part of her body froze on the spot, but she just smiled and handed it back.
''That is quite the read'' She could still remember having to sit through it the one time her grandmother was allowed to babysit when she was 9, the misinformation and cherry-picking from Cantankerus Nott was more or less worrying to say the least. ''Is it for a class?'' She knew her family was in that book. The Crane family were in most of the books like it so if it wasn't she knew there would be hell to pay, 'The Crane Revolution of 1930'. She could see it before her and was happy no such thing had happened, that would've been quite the embarrassment for her honestly. Primrose was ridiculously happy to not have to deal with the Pure-Blood part of her family, at least the elitist type, as they filled the whispers of people when they caused yet another scene somewhere. The Crane family must be regarded with about as much distaste as the Malfoys- and if not the world surely gave her fathers side of the family too much credit.

When wandering around the bookshelves that would just days earlier seems so ellegant and magical, with all the different kinds of scents and the books that would reach every little part of the library with only small spaces for you to wander around. But it all had just settled in, it wasn't this unrealness about it anymore it was just another escape from the reality which Mezarim would seek the most. The book he was carrying close to his chest was an old and the pages would already starting to become frayed. But from reading it as much as he did it wasn't much of dust formed on the front cover. The book was "Pure-Blood Directory". A book that was very close to his heart, being up nights and nights reading it, it would be the first book Mezarim himself read. The most worn out pages in the book would be the pages where his own family would have their names in. Precious family history that was just wirtten in a book like it was a piece of something that everyone could share and enjoy. He knew that his father despised the whole book but as it was a great way of learning he couldn't care less if his son was reading it.
With his dark black hair and tall statue did Mezarim try to find somewhere to take a seat. The whole day had been rather exhausting and he knew that just the tiny measly sort of thing that would stand in his way or just make his day a just a small amout worse would make him lose all his cool.
Not that days like this would be once in a bluemoon but today he at least knew it before hand maybe that would make it easier to controll his anger if something would have happened.
With his head held high and a slight smirk on his face did he wander around in the library, the rain burshing agains the window did send a small shiver through his body, it was details just small details like that which made him appreciate the school more and more. Even if there were small unrighteous problems with the school like for an instance happily welcoming Mudbloods to the school, what a shame the school could really be the top notch school but of course there would always be that exception that just ruins everything. Mezarim had never really talked to a muggleborn himself except the calling names down the corridors and all that.. and he wouldn't even imagine talking to one neither. That would be distasteful, a shame to his name.
Being fully up in his own mind he didn't notice the hufflepuff girl he was just about to pass did a swift turn and colliding right into Mezarim, he jumped at the sudden contact droppig the book to the ground, he looked at the book as it laid flat down on the dirty ground. He felt the anger of his starting to rise through out his body but mostly in his face feeling the flaming feeling and wouldn't be suprised if he was already red. He snatched the book from the girl and looked her dead in the eyes, "why on earth is she so calm and nice" It all made him angrier, but he started bite down on his lip to not throw out some spiteful words. He brushed the book off even if there wasn't anything on it he still wanted to make sure. "Pure-blood Directory, of course it is, my own family is written in it. My name is Mezarim sterling if you couldn't figure it out" He said beign shooked by the calmness in his tone, maybe it was because of the girls "Interest" in the book. As books was something he loved and so was his families history talking about them both sure made him happier. "if you haven't already I would recomend it, I'm on letter C at the moment which would be Carrow, Cruch and of course Crane. My own family is at the end of the book, distastefull really. What did you say your name was?"
He looked down at the book through out his words and looked at it proudly.

Oh, a Sterling. Primrose had read about them, more than once actually. Her father had rather mixed opinions about them as the girl curiously listened to the boy, he looked the part that's for sure. Rather tall, a lot taller than herself at least, with that 'I know a lot more than you' look. Though Primrose had been taught that one should not judge a book because of it's cover, her dad was a prime example of that. A person raised with pure-bloods who knew nothing better than to look down on others that took everything in stride and realized he was being a complete arse. She couldn't help but visibly cringe at the mention of the Crane family, they were her family no matter what.
''Primrose Edwards.'' She replied with a smile, doing her best to not judge or dislike the boy right away. ''That book has a lot of misinformation so I wouldn't worry too much, Mezarim. They even misspelled the name of Amadeus Crane in it so- take it with stride''
Primrose let out a snicker, she could still remember her grandmother frowning and turning red with anger as she had realized the spelling mistake- how nobody had seen it earlier was beyond her 'Anadeus' was far from the old mans name. She had spoken with his painting once and he was just as furious when he found out about it, she thought he would break his own frame out of fury- if that was even possible.
''My grandmother threw quite the fit when she found out, she turned as red as a tomato' Primrose frowned but then giggled once more at the memory, clearing her throat and quieting down when she realized she was still in the library. She could be a bit loud at times.

Edwards hmm nothing that rang a bell except that Richard Edwards or better known as the Blood traitor Crane who betrayed the whole pureblood phenomenon. It wasn't anything Mezarim knew too much about but the sobriquet of his explained more than enough as it was. As Primerose explained how the book would have a lot of misinformation, did Mezarim look down on the book turning it around some turns just to get a full look of it. He didn't believe her what was written in this book was only truth and if there would be some spelling mistakes he knew that he wasn't himself the best at spelling and he wouldn't be suprised if small mistakes happened but that wouldn't lead to the whole book itself being misinformation. Primerose stood some centimeters under himself, he would describe her as short even through she was the height of any eleven year old, the blond curly hair matching the blue eyes of hers, she was almost the complete opposite when it came to apperance maybe even personality. Mezarim was tall with black hair and brown eyes and you would describe him as less.. erm giggly. The girl in front of him was a bright girl something he wasn't used to. Back home if someone would walk into Mezarim in the way thar Primerose did it was all determened by the ranking in the house, if it was his father who caused the collision it would still be Mezarim who got punished, nothing he questioned about that was just the reality. Not that it would ever happen in a large Manor and with his mother and father rarely there.
When Primerose started talking again after catching her breath having a splending time and Mezarim just standing there judging her, he couldn't help but notice something. He looked at the girl up and down as she spoke, and couldn't help but glare at her. The book which was held in the right hand of his fell down to the side of his body holding it tight"Why would your grandmother care?" He looked at the girl with a judging glare. If it all was added up correctly was she an Edwards, and if her grandmother was a Crane which would be the explaination to which she got mad over it.. then it had to mean.. Maybe not but he wanted to hear from the girl herself, he wouldn't want to be seen speaking to a bloodtraitors daughter.

''My grandmother is Edith Crane, believe it or not'' Primrose had been very careful as she spoke, looking around to make sure nobody else was listening in; as if she was saying something forbidden. She hated admitting it, the girl leaning onto the bookshelf next to them.
''She threw a real fit, even his painting reacted badly- which to be fair I wasn't too surprised over, he can spend hours babbling about how respected he was.'' That was a clear line, the Crane family had made their name for sure; they garnered respect as much as fear as they walked through the Diagon Alley for their yearly visit to her aunt; but they were no Lestrange or Malfoy just yet. Though Edith would rather die than admit as much.
''Also, did you know that the author of that book chose to keep the Potter's out of it? Who knows what other families he cut out'' She grinned at him but gestured with a wave to move past the subject.
''Sorry, you probably uh- quite like that book. My dad used to as well so, I know it can be a sore subject and I'm not trying to poke fun at you.'' Primrose sent a warm smile his way, reaching out her hand so he could shake it.
''But it's a pleasure to meet you, I've heard a lot about your family.''

Mezarim couldn't help but gasp as he heard what the girl in front of him said. Mezarim knew that the Sterlings and Cranes had some history together when it came to their beliefs and both of the wizarding wars. But this girl was no Crane, she was the daughter to a blood traitor. He took a step backwards it was just an reflex something he didn't notice himself doing. His head was fighting with it self, one part wanted to stay the other was the part who was telling him to turn his back to the girl, was it because of cowardliness he didn't know but he wanted to do whatever he knew his father would tell him, that would be to turn around. But even if there was a large part of him wanting to leave do the "right" there was the other one, wanting to stay being almost stuck to the floor underneath him.
He arched his brow at the girl.
"But then it means your father is.. the blood triator?" He turned his mouth downwards in a disgusted manner. "For all I Know I shoudln't even be talking to you right now.." He grunted and looked away for a split second.
The Sterling family was a cruel family, with ideas even some of the pureblood families throught was too cruel. That the name Sterling would even be used as a mocking way of telling someone that they are being resentful amongst the purebloods.
"And about the Potters were not in the Book because of their pro-muggle and half of them were already half-bloods when the book was written, no wonder Cantankerus Nott didn't want their name to be in it."
He clenched his jaw as he looked down at the girl "And don't compare my Name to your filthy father" Mezarim said ignoring the girls hand that was reaching out for him to shake it.
He took another step backwards this time meaning it, he could hear his own father screaming at him to get away from her... for a split second could his true feeling flash before his eyes that was hidden underneth the angry judging eyes, lonelyness

"But then it means your father is.. the blood traitor?"
Primrose didn't even look bothered, just nodded.
''Suppose so, though I call him dad- my mum Darling and my cousin Uncle Richie.'' She lowered her hand and shrugged, this was nothing new to her. She had met people who had a similar reaction in the past, some people saw nothing but their own pride and rank.
"And don't compare my Name to your filthy father"
Primrose sighed, she had seen that flash of fear and loneliness, something her father had told her about quite a lot. The isolation paired with the pressure could be suffocating for some apparently. Her dad told her about how he'd lock himself into his closet when things got too much as a child. She couldn't help but feel sorrow when thinking about it.
''I'm not. I know there is a pride with your name, something I respect. But you see- I happen to think I can prove your.. theory if we will, wrong. About muggle-borns and such, that is.'' She wasn't lying entirely when saying that, Primrose knew very well the common arguments behind blood-supremacy and it was disgusting; as well as something she had chosen to combat if she so had to die doing it.
She looked to the side, taking out a book curiously and skimming through it. The hufflepuff girl looked confident, pondering and beyond all as if she had seen this one hundred times before.
''I've decided!'' She gasped, a grin on her face as she put the book back in it's place. ''Before our second year, I- Primrose Edwards will befriend you Mezarim Sterling.'' She clapped her hands together and grinned. She was so obnoxious to some.

''Suppose so, though I call him dad- my mum Darling and my cousin Uncle Richie."
Mezarim rolled his eyes and sighed loudly, he didn't understand how Primerose could be so optimistic about it knowing she was the daughter of a bloodtraitor, if Mezarim got to know his father was one then he would never forgive him, that of course he doen't know any different but if his life actually was different.. he shook his head how could he possibly think like that? Making him frigtened by his own thoughts. The whole deal with accepting muggle-borns was just awful being brought up in a muggle world and have the rights to get the education as an witch or wizard was just surreal they had nothing in this wizard world to do.
''I'm not. I know there is a pride with your name, something I respect. But you see- I happen to think I can prove your.. theory if we will, wrong. About muggle-borns and such, that is.''
"Don't even try it will just be waste of time, there is nothing to prove wrong of. Mudbloods are nothing more than a disgusting joke, a muggle who just happens to get more privilage in the wizard world" He said frowning. "I don't care what your oppinions are, because I know that I am right, even some teachers are wrong, I mean everyone can't bbe right just too bad some can't learn from their mistakes." He let his hand thouch some of the books backsides trying to read the backsides which was rather uncomfortable standing straight being that the letters where vertical.
The girl he was talking to Primerose Edwards was trully someone special he would not recal meeting anyone like her. Even if Mezarim was being rude to her and her family did she not show of any sign that she was hurt by the words, he couldn't help but get annoyed by it, no one he had talked to would ever just see everything on the bright side... it was unusual.
''Before our second year, I- Primrose Edwards will befriend you Mezarim Sterling.''
Mezarim looked suprised at the girl, noticing his mouth opened slightly he closed it... "What did you say?" He asked still shooked by the girls voice he blinked some extra time, he couldn't possibly have heard right... The clapping from her hands was the reason for him to finally wake up from this shooked state.
"That won't happen I can assure you that" Mezarim said and ran a hand though his raven hair looking down at the floor thinkning out something that might change her mind. But he was stuck.
He couldn't understand why she would in any way want to be friend with him. why?

Primrose rolled her eyes but let out a giggle, shifting her weight as she starting going from side to side.
''Hermione Granger, muggle-born. One of the brightest witches of our century. Harry James Potter, raised by muggles- or well a squib, given no information about magic until he was 11- practically muggleborn.'' She hummed, fixing her uniform as she spoke.
''There are tons more, just because they don't have a blood-line behind them doesn't make them less capable of learning magic as powerful as you and I can, correct?'' She looked slightly smug, but it quickly changed to genuine happiness as she looked at the book with a thoughtful hint in her eyes.
''Actually,a muggle-born has an advantage we don't. We see things from a perspective they can't, yeah? It's in our nature because we were raised with it and all that- but they see it from a fresh point of view. They don't have a muddled opinion.''
"That won't happen I can assure you that"
Primrose looked at him, a laugh escaping him.
''I think you are forgetting I'm a hufflepuff! I am a particularly good finder and I just so happen to have found someone I know would make a good friend~'' She sang, grabbing the book from his hands and quickly going around her and starting in a rather quick pace walk as she read from the book.
''Abbot, Malfoy- Avery and of course Black. All of them had one thing in common, still do! Incredibly lonely, they are!'' She called over her shoulder, waving happily to another student as she started skipping her steps happily.

"I'm sure anyone with an book stuck up their face can learn anything, but that doesn't make them any more wizard or witches because of that. and well.." Mezarim understood how little it was he knew about famous wizards and witches like Potter and Granger but it wasn't an topic he was alowed to learn anyway back home.
He tapped his fingers on the cover of the book, " I just don't think we purebloods should be mixed with filth, I just don't understand how you can not think the same.." He said the last part quieter more of a thinking ay to himself, it was just so weird for him and he couldn't just understand her if he even wanted to think the way she did it was impossible.
''I think you are forgetting I'm a hufflepuff! I am a particularly good finder and I just so happen to have found someone I know would make a good friend~''
"Hufflepuff" He muttered not paying attention to the girl reaching out grabbing rhe book from him. but as soon as the book was gone did he try to grab it back whitch he failed with. He clenched his jaw again, he walked into the Library just to push everything that happened today away from him and get some alone time reading a book but that would be too much to ask.
He walked after the girl he had to walk in a fast pace even if the girl were shorter. Whenever he got close enough to reach it did Primerose fasten her pace making it rather impossible to grab the book from her.
He looked around seeing people starting to look their way he just stopped right in his track and looked down letting his foot kick the rug he was standing on. He watched as the girl called out all the famous Wizard families like nothing.
"Incredibly lonely, they are!''
Mezarim looked one more time if the students in the library was still looking at him, no one...
He slowly walked two stepps backwards before turning around back to where the books were standing closer and the openess were now gone. He breathed out.
