Reputation always held familiarity with him. He'd been the guy who'd always been known. He's the guy who'd always know. Untroubled as he claims to be — an indifferent approach into everything different, he does not entirely know Quidditch. A miracle couldn't even shift the fact, he himself hasn't experience such things. A thought so self-centered, can avert to his denial. Hogwarts filled itself with various plots, he himself is part of one, that wasn't ready yet. Watching Quidditch matches physically could almost replicate the intensity of being in one. That intensity which Chatt prepared himself for. Perhaps he'd prepared himself a bit too far.

Being in a game was one thing most couldn't even experience by their own. Being captain? Most likely he skipped a step too late.

An unofficial match (which he should've been in if honesty held him captive) was held — though amendments took place due to insufficient positions that filled, excitement could tide over Chatt. But the shore was already filled with fright. Reputation, once again became a part of him, especially becoming a new captain, at the same time a new player in this field. Standing beside him, the goat @Ebony Vetra, was already into the certain level and experience he has yet to have full knowledge of.

He imagined himself being in there, part of the players that paced into the field. Most of them were his age, which became a slight embarrassment he could barely keep eye contact. He kept his head held high, but possibly — he thought, Ebony was close enough to see beneath it. His French accent still kept him, he didn't bother to try and hide it.

"Good day to all. We're glad you could make it. This game serves as a before-hand experience for people who are quite new." He'd eye the professionals. "Well, mostly new."

"The game requires your knowledge in the Quidditch playbook. Although most of you all haven't experienced the pitch, Quidditch doesn't wait. Me? Just trust. The game will start by the signal of the whistle, get ready and head into your positions! Please don't get into any injuries, I'm not mentally prepared for that yet." He took out a sigh, and a chuckle.

Before the players head into their starting posts, Chatt forgot to add the important one of them all. " — Oh and of course, have fun."

Evgenia Starkova was not quite sure what she was doing here.
She had thought that she had better do something with herself, if she wasn't able to skate at this wizard school. Sports had been such an integral part of the young girl's life from a very early age that she could not imagine having nothing to do with herself in that area for an entire school year except whatever off-ice training she could get in. Therefore, it had seemed prudent to check out wizard sports once she had heard that there was such a thing.
Of the three sports offered by Hogwarts, duelling was definitely not going to work. Evgenia was entirely unconvinced of all this spell stuff. (She'd probably be terrible and embarrass herself by not being able to perform a single spell anyway.) And how did standing in place and pointing wooden sticks at another person count as a sport anyway? So, that left broom racing and a wizard game called "Quidditch". After studying the rulebooks for each, Evgenia had decided that broom racing was certainly not up her alley. Quidditch it was, and even now - standing in front of a boy who didn't look much older than Evgenia herself and a girl who definitely was much older than her - she was still quite unsure about this whole thing.
She listened to the boy's speech, glancing around at the other players from time to time. This wasn't an official team game, just a student-organized one, so she supposed it wasn't all bad if she messed something up. She had signed up for the Hufflepuff waitlist, though, so this would be good practice for Evgenia - in the realms of both playing the game and simply flying on her broom. (That latter part was still a bit iffy for her, even after having picked the gist up quicker than she had expected to.) When the boy finished speaking and dismissed both teams, Evgenia would turn to hesitantly, cautiously plod her way across the field, glancing around at her assorted teammates to verify that she was doing it correctly.

Did Octavian fully know what he was doing here no not at all. All he rembers was writing to Abby that he promises that he will try new thing. He does not remeber when trying new things links to playing a sport.A sport required not being afraid of flying last time Octavian checked he is terrified of flying. But what ever it is too late to back out now. After he finished listening to the boy speech, his eyes darted across the pitch multiple times.

He read about Quidditch before obviously he is not going in blind. He knew the basic rules well enough not to make a extremely rookie mistake and what each position are supposed to do and does. But knowing something on paper and actually doing it are two very different things. He looked down at the broom in his hands "wonderful" he mummered.Octavian looked over at the other players making a mental note of where they went and what position they were taking.he is 98% sure he is the second-string seeker so he was not expect to start right over, soo there was no reason to rush.He adjusted his glass and looked at the pitch for hopefully the last time
Just watch.Learn, and don't fall off your broom
Simple
He looked back at the other players, some looked way more comfortable here than he was and some even looked more scared.
He waited near his position, hands tucked inside his robes while watching the preparations. He was not exactly nervous.More it was a mixture of excitement, nervovsness and a other felling he can not name so for now he is just intelligently concerned

Diana had never expected to find herself anywhere near a Quidditch pitch let alone watching on the sidelines of an actual game, even if it was a practice match. She had spent plenty of time hearing people talk about Quidditch and she had watched matches before but watching from the stands was very different from knowing she might eventually fly onto the pitch herself. However for now she was perfectly content to observe. Standing with the other second-strings Diana carefully listened as Chatt explained how the unofficial match would work. Her muted grey green eyes moved between the players as they began to make their way toward their positions and quietly took note of who seemed confident on their brooms and who looked a little less certain. In particular Evgenia seemed to be approaching the whole thing with a mixture of caution and determination while Octavian looked about as comfortable with the idea of flying as Diana herself felt.

She glanced toward Team 2's first-string Seeker Andrea Woodsburn before looking back toward the pitch. As the second-string Seeker Diana knew she wasn't going to be starting the match. She also knew that she wouldn't be playing in the match unless something happened to Andrea. However even though she's on the bench that didn't mean she couldn't learn anything. For another moment her attention lingered on the other players. There was almost something fascinating about seeing all the different possibilities unfold before the game had even began properly. Diana couldn't predict what was going to happen because her intuition didn't work that way but she had always been good at noticing the little things. And right now she intended to notice everything.

She adjusted her grip on her school broom and stepped into a comfortable place where she could clearly see the pitch. If Andrea needed replacing at any point Diana would be ready. Until then she would watch and learn and wait. Hopefully this match would show her exactly what she had signed up for.

It is finally that time of year. No, not Christmas, Quidditch! The best game known to man, and now Andy gets to play, but starts on the bench like usual. But even though he does start on the bench, and doesn't get enough playing time at all, this practice game might actually give him a chance to impress the captain and just have fun. It is, a friendly practice game after all. After a couple of minutes of polishing his broom, gearing up with his gloves and uniform and warming up with 3 laps around the field with his Nimbus 1700, Andy took a seat on the bench and enjoyed the silence before the intense but friendly game will start. He got out a thermos and poured himself a cup of tea into the lid and enjoyed life. Man, it is amazing, Hogwarts, the scenery (even though the work load is massive.) Finally, the smell of fall in the air, apple cider, and warm butter beer and iced pumpkin juice. Quidditch practice every week, Hogsmeade trips, all of that, and the year is just starting. Andys sipped his tea, and patiently waited for the start of the game. Go Ravenclaw!

Atlas sits on the bench, his knee bouncing nervously. He'd never played Quidditch before, or even watched a game. As soon as he heard he was going to be on the unofficial team, he made sure to check out lots of books on how to play and any useful tips. Even though he's second string keeper, you can't read too many books. He'd also made sure to come down and watch the Hufflepuff team when they had some of their practices, so he'd have some idea of what it would look like. He watches as the starting team heads to their places, mounting their brooms. Atlas runs a hand through the long part of his hair and ties it into a short ponytail at the back of his head with a hair elastic from his wrist. Now that his hair is out of the way, his small circular earrings are a bit more noticeable. "What am I doing? I should be reading books or something, what if I make a fool of myself? This is such a bad idea. Maybe I'm not that bad, I bet there are loads of newbies here......but they look so confident, maybe not.....well, can't back out now, let's hope I don't end up looking like a fool." Atlas thinks as his knee bounces faster, he glances around at the other second string players that are part of his team, then looks around at the beutiful senery that he's too nervous to enjoy before focusing his gaze back on the pitch.

Lorenzo was excited. Sure it was his first match (even though it's unnoficial) in Hogwarts, but how hard could it be? It was finally time to prove himself and damn right will he do well. But deep down, he was nervous. "Time to make chaos, " he said to himself as he walked onto the pitch. He was glad that @Leo Noxley was his captain, as he was experienced. He was Shooting Comets's(team 2) starting chaser which was cool. He saw the other team's players. Some inexperienced and some were experienced. This was going to be something.. He scanned the field and saw alot of the players were around his age. He saw all the players getting and ready while he took out his fidget toy and started fidgeting with it. He gripped his broom tightly. He had the Coment 180 as his broom. Not the best but sufficient.
The match was starting soon so Lorenzo decided to do some practice laps and hopped on his broom. He sped up and took a sharp turn. "Nice!" He also decided to practice some moves like the Sloth Grip Roll which would help him in doging bludgers. After that he sped towards the ground to land and hopped off just before his feet touched the ground
Then the whistle rang. It has now officially started. "Welp, this is gonna be intresting!"He said to himself as he mounted his broom and took off.

Finally.

It felt like a dream for George. It seemed like two seconds ago that it was his first day as a second-year and he would get to (lovingly) boss other kids, and boom! Here he was, three steps away from the brink of entering the Quidditch pitch for the first time in his life to actually play a match and not be the lonely kid getting bonked on the head with Bludgers.

The word 'Quidditch' seemed to send a jolt of pain up his skull. He stroked it gently. It had hardly been half a year ago when he had cracked his skull with a Bludger. Thinking of that hurt, as he had thought at that time that he will never be able to play Quidditch again.

But here he was now, a first-string...first-string chaser for Team 2 in an unofficial practice match for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.

He stroked his Nimbus 1500. "You're about to be under my butt, Alex, soaring in the air. Get prepared, alright?"

It took a few more seconds to sink in. His first 7v7 proper Quidditch match. He had his Tornados badge pinned on.

He walked slowly.

One. Two. Three.
A bright ray of sunlight hit him. He was in the pitch for the game.

The weather was breezy and sunny - a perfect weather to fly on a broom. The pitch unfurled wide ahead of her, each blade of grass shimmering in the golden mild autumnal-afternoon sun. It held that characteristic hum, that pregame electric hum of excitement, that had her heart throbbing long before the game even started. She shifted her hands on the polished haft of the broom, cool against her skin, and drew in a breath.

She was striding out onto the field with an unnatural nonchalance that belied the tempest churning inside of her. The murmurs of her teammates, the far-off command in Chatt's thickly accented tones, the whisper of robes in the wind were all coalesced into a single comforting beat. It was easy to fix her eyes on the stands, where small knots of pupils were craning forward expectantly. She conjured up an image of the Snitch flitting about some secret crevice and felt her back shudder in a mixture of foreboding and delighted terror. This is the 2nd time Denisse plays as a seeker but this time, she's playing with an actual team. She won't be playing against another house, but this will give her an idea of what will it be like to play in a stadium. She's hoping someone out there will see her skills and put her in as a 1st string seeker of the Hufflepuff team. But for now, she's the 1st string seeker of this team. This team that mostly consists of newbies such as herself.

Quidditch.

Merlin's beard – it was funny how, even just a year ago, Poppy could never imagine herself so much as mounting a broom. Forget the viciousness of the game or the fact it was played so high up, the idea of willingly flinging herself into a game where others tried to knock you off your broom – not to be confused with broomracing – had been enough to set the ends of her hair white.

For so much of her first year, she'd done everything she could to ignore that and every other activity Hogwarts had had to offer. It wasn't for her. Her parents would never approve. The latter...she was forced to accept, would never change. The summer had made that abundantly clear. If she allowed herself even more honesty, Poppy could even admit that she hadn't needed the summer for that at all. The signs had been there through the entirety of her first year, and it had initially forced her to withdraw from school life.

The guilty pleasures she discovered later on made it, in some ways, easier to allow herself those small indulgences. Once she started, she couldn't stop. One unofficial quidditch match became two. She found herself in unofficial duels – willingly slinging spells at sometimes her own classmates.

No trepidation, just a fire she never knew could belong to her and a pride she'd always been told she needed to stifle.

How strange it was for her to walk onto the training pitch to the heavy thumping of her heart inside her chest but no real thoughts about whether it was something she was meant to be doing.

She wanted to and for now, that would have to be enough. The rest she could sort out with her conscience when her body wasn't unfurling from its long summer, away from the things she'd begun to hold as dear as the farm and her increasingly distant siblings. Equally dear to her was the silver arrow gripped firmly in her palm. It was a gift from the kind ministry worker who'd first been assigned to her. He'd called it 'a little something for her trouble', but she was getting older now and more acquainted with the wizarding world. Poppy may not have known the exact cost of the broom, but she'd seen enough students fussing over the model...and even more...she knew that he saw it, too, the way her parents had begun to withdraw.

A matter for another day, she reasoned when she caught sight of the tips of her hair going light blue. It was better to focus on the game. They'd selected her captain for the match and she didn't think it ...wise to be too overcome by emotions; she could do nothing about when there was a team of largely fresh faces waiting for her to...well...lead, she supposed.

When things got started, Poppy set herself down on the team's bench, ready to do what she could from the ground.

"I...I've got a box of jelly slugs if...if you'd like some," she said quietly, offering it to her fellow second-string teammate Ophelia. They may as well have a little treat.
