Among The Bunnies PV Puck :) Closed

London was severely lacking in bunnies. To the blue haired girl known as Elena Jones, that was a big problem, mostly because the sweet fluffy creatures were a welcome distraction from everything that happened to her. From betrayal to fear to pain, the little bunnies outside on the grounds had helped her through. So now she was waltzing down over to the bunch, she wondered if Griffith liked bunnies, she'd have to ask him in her Christmas card. Alan definitely would, she'd have to get him something with bunnies on it. He'd like that.

She saw a girl in her usual bunny hugging area, then she realised it was Tal. Rorie's friend was sweet so Elena didn't turn around and go back, instead she came and sat down nearby.

"Hey there Tal, how are the rabbits going today? I was coming down to see if I could convince one to come in for a hug, it looks like they like you!" Elena beamed at the other girl before looking around, hoping a soft little fluffy friend would come and make her day better. She needed something to calm her down, a trip to the tea shop was in order soon, but for now she'd make do with bunnies.

Tal heard the soft landings of footsteps around the area, and lifted her eyes from the bunny, still stroking it rhythimically and humming a little song, but with a little less attention towards the sweet creature and a little more to focus in on her surroundings. Looking through the forest clearing, with its spring and little waterfall and flower field, to see if she could find the culprit of the noise.

She noticed a fleeting glint of blue hair, and recognized almost instantly who her company was.

"Puck! Hiya Puck!" she pipped happily as her friend finally came into view. "The bunnies are doing good, its almost the new littering season. Soon there'll be a whole bunch more, little cute kits hopping around!"

Not to brag or anything, but Talia was quite the bunny connoisseur. Anything soft and fluffy went for the brunette, though.

"So, you come down here, too? Cool, I'd always wondered why I hadn't seen others around this little area. It's so nice and... nature-y? Is that even a word? Nature-y?"

The girl looked at Elena with a confused expression, trying to remember all her muggle primary school grammar lessons. She honestly didn't have a clue, but if it wasn't a word, it deserved to be one.

For a moment when Tal was calling out to her, Elena thought it was Eliza. It was an odd reaction, but all she could hear was excitement, she saw the long brown hair, the happiness. For a minute it was a little girl there in place of her friend, smiling and playing with the bunnies. She was confused as to what caused it for a second before realising it was the name, Puck. Puck was what Eliza used to call her, she'd picked it up off the other kids and she was one of the only people Elena didn't mind using it.

"Littering season? Baby bunnies? I'm so excited!" Elena beamed at Tal, "We should totally hug them together, we can be like, bunny club!"

Elena managed to lure a bunny over to hug, "Natural, I think. I come down here to talk to them, sometimes I need a bit of a calm time, I used to come here before I went to the tea shop."

Elena went a little bit pale, "Oh, sorry I don't think I'm meant to be going there, um, I had the same conversation with Alan Vanes the other day about his marauders map, I can bring you something if you want. I just sort of need the tea shop, it's got one of the only ways to stop my brain from overreacting to everything."

Looking up at her as the blue haired girl hugged another fluffball, smiling as she suggested some sort of bunny club.

"Bunny club? Yeah, I'd like that," Tal said thoughtfully, laughing as she fed the creature in her hands. "And yeah. Baby bunnies are like, one hundred times cuter than regular bunnies, and that's practically impossible..."

Talia looked down at the little bunny rabbit that was cuddled up on her lap. The soft white fur, the cute little nose, the shining eyes, and the big ears. Oh, and the cute little floof tail. Adorable.

"Honestly, any soft creature has my heart," Talia thought out loud. It was true. Maybe it was because it reminded her of herself, or maybe because they. Were. Just. Really. Fluffing. Soft. Tal didn't really know, but did it really matter?

"You know, when I was little little, like a toddler, I guess, I had tea parties with animals instead of other kids? I guess I just didn't really talk to other kids. Like, at all, but that's not the point," she laughed. "I would sit at my table and talk to them, and feed them. It was fun."

It was a random story, Tal knew, but it felt right to share it then, in the little clearing, with all the bunnies.

Tal was sweet, the girl had either not heard her or decided against commenting on the last part. Either way, Elena figured she wouldn't tell, she was way too nice for that. She smiled at the fluffy little bunny that had decided she was comfy, it was good to have something so calming around. She was still thinking about too many things at once, but the bunny took a lot of attention to keep happy, so it was a bit easier to deal with. The tea would still be nice about now, but she wasn't doing anything boring, and talking to Tal would take up some of her mind too.

"Soft creatures are the best, I do like my snakes though, they're amazing creatures, and the magic ones were very smart." Elena patted the bunny, making sure it was very happy, "Tea parties with little critters sounds like fun. I wish I'd done that when I was younger, maybe I should bring some tea for the little ones, but for now."

Elena reached into her pocket and pulled out two chocolate frogs, handing one over to Tal, "I hope you like chocolate frogs, because I sure do, and I appear to have bought a bit extra."

"I bet snakes are cool. I've never really met one properly, though," Talia said, talking about the snake as if it were just another person. For the creative little girl, though, it practically was.

Tal couldn't help but wonder a bit at what Puck had really meant. She snuck out of school to go to the tea shop? That sounded very exciting, Talia wondered what it felt like to be so cool like that, to break rules effortlessly and have blue hair. Puck was the actual definition of cool to Talia, quite honestly. As for the marauders map, wasn't that the enchanted map that could do weird but interesting stuff? Tal was almost certain it was, but she didn't inquire further. She'd also heard the girl say that her mind overreacted a lot. Talia could understand that. She knew what it was like to feel crazy sometimes, though normally hers was only because of social anxiety.

Tal walked over to her blue haired companion, giving her a big hug. As long as Puck stayed safe and happy, Talia was happy.

Reluctantly releasing the bunny so that it could freely do its thing, Tal watched it hop off with its other bunny friends, and then turned back to Puck, who had offered her a chocolate frog.

"Woah, thanks Puck! You're the best, you know that, right?"

Talia smiled as she took a bite of hers, looking at her card. She'd began to collect cards since arriving at Hogwarts, and she and her friends often compared and traded cards in their collections.

"Beaumont Marjoribanks! Cool, she was the one who discovered Gillyweed, right?" she said happily as she finished the rest of her chocolate.

"What about we go for a walk? That'll be fun, and maybe it'll take your mind off something?" she offered happily.

“I need to properly meet one. Maybe whenever I get a pet, that would he cool. A pet snake! I’m thinking a cat or like, a niffler if I’m allowed to have one.” She smiled, “There’s also owls, I’m not much of a toad person. So it’ll probably not be a toad, and rats? Well, there were too many where I’m from...”

The girl shivered a little bit, she didn’t like rats. Then Elena got surprised by a hug, it wasn’t normal for people to hug her, so she might have jumped a little, but she hugged Tal back all the same. It was nice, and Tal was awesome and sweet, sort of like Eliza. Elena almost shook the thoughts out of her head and beamed at Tal.

“The best? Well I know a bunch of street kids in London that would beg to differ.” Elena had a small smile when she added, “And some more important people here that would agree.”

“I think so! I haven’t gotten to the potions history section of the library yet. I guess I should have more of a look at that.” Elena ate her own frog and nodded, “A walk? Sounds like a blast! Want a hand up?”

Elena stood up and dusted herself off before reaching out a hand to the other girl.

Tal smiled as Puck explained her thoughts of getting a pet. The idea of having a pet was nothing new to the girl, she had a dog back at home, but having a pet at Hogwarts was still astounding to her. After all, there was something new to the whole concept of an animal companion when you added magic into the mix.

"Really? A snake could definitely be a cool pet if you liked it. Yeah, nifflers are so cute! All of the animals are cute, though, to be fair. Personally, I want a cat. Cats are so gentle and, I dunno, cat-like?"

Talia looked at her friend as she said that there were many people who would think that she wasn't actually the best. How could someone deny cold, hard, fact?

Okay, maybe it was a matter of opinion, but still.

"Well, all the people who disagree are wrong," the little brunette said confidently, a look of determination on her face as if she had made up her mind on that and absolutely nothing would change it.

Talia took Puck's hand gracefully and hopped onto her feet, thanking her happily. She looked over at the multiple paths they could take to walk along. A more woodsy route, one running along the stream, and another keeping along the clearing, full of pretty flowers.

Elena quickly hid the tears that formed in her eyes when Tal had looked at her like she was stating absolute fact, and told Elena she was the best. It was nice to feel this wanted, and especially from someone as sweet as Tal. If Min-seo was Elena's broken angel, then Talia was Elena's pure soul, sweet and kind and all too perfect. A pure soul filled with kindness, that was Tal, through and through.

"I'll be sure to tell them that, if I ever see them again. Hopefully hand in hand with you and Bella, my badass super team." Elena gave Tal a grin and a wink.

Elena strolled along next to Tal, looking around the path with a little bit of snow falling gently around them, she felt oddly calm compared to normal. It was nice, especially being able to be in the moment like this. It also might have been that she was singing in spanish under breath, the extra pronunciation complications helped keep her mind focused.

"So, how's it all going Tal? I'm sorry I didn't meet you earlier, our mutual friend just sort of disappeared. I'm glad you're here though, you make this all a lot more fun." Elena then sighed softly and happily as she took in the surroundings.
