The Early Spring Tea Party
It is the afternoon exactly two weeks before the spring ball, the fifth of April. The weather is warm yet not too hot, the breeze is gentle and the flowers are blooming everywhere. This is the perfect time for an outing, a picnic or a tea party.
A few days before, Cassie decided to start this Early Spring Tea Party, to celebrate the arrival of spring, enjoy the flowers and sunshine, meet new friends and to take a rest from her busy studies. Out of her expectations, many students, of different years and houses are interested in this party. She has been counting down the days, until she is finally at the grounds with the other preparation team members, who have just arranged the party scene with her.
If you enters the grounds of Hogwarts right now, you will notice a large picnic blanket on the ground. Printed with stripes and little flowers, the light red blanket gives you a sense of spring and warmth. In front of you stands a tall board with the words 'Early Spring Tea Party' in a lovely font, that is the Polaroid Photo Corner. Feel free to pick up props like a bunch of flowers and take photos there, then display it on the board for others to see. You can take these pictures back after the party to make it one of your precious memories.
On the sides of the board stands two other boards, facing their backs to you. If you look on the opposite side, you will see they are the Leave-a-note boards. The left one is for boys and the right one is for girls. A stack of sticky notes, a quill and a bottle of ink is prepared on a small table beside the boards. Feel free to write down a note, anonymous or not, to a friend or another student in the party. New friendships may be built!
Coming to the left of the picnic blanket, there is a long table you will definitely not ignore. On the table lays countless snacks and tea for guests to enjoy. On the left part of the table, nine types of tea are well brewed in chinese teapots, each with a different yet elegant design. Take one from the stack of cups beside the teapots, and enjoy the tea. You are wondering how to tell the different tea apart? A label neatly written for each tea is put in front of the respective tea pot. If you look closer, you will know that there are Earl Grey, Chamomile, Hibiscus, Matcha Jasmine Rose Chrysanthemum Mint and Green tea, covering nearly all main tea types. There is also a teapot of specially made milk tea, made from black tea, milk and honey.
But probably what attracts you more is the right part of the table, where all types of desserts are served in Multi-tiered dessert stands. In the first 'tower' are small Macrons, in various colours and flavours. In the second are little cakes, Tiramisu, cheese, chocolate... just beyond your imagination! In the third are finger sandwiches, with cucumber, eggs and salmon in the middle, have one in just one bite. Then comes the well baked cookies and scones that comes with jam or cream. We provide seven types of jam--Strawberry, Vanilla, Blueberry, Lemon, Raspberry, Peach and Honey. You must be able to find one you like.
And finally, and most importantly, once you enter the grounds, you shall find yourself greeted with a handmade gift bag. Open it and you'll find a chocolate frog, two random frog cards, a dazzling barrete for girls or a rose for boys (probably to give to the ones they have a crush on...) and a lovely booklet about Cassie's Ballet Performance at the spring ball activity! The cover of the booklet has been specially designed to match your house's colour.
About time for the party to begin!

Looking for Interactions!4/5/26Rosie had been hearing about a Spring Tea Party for a bit, and she had decided to go and check it out. Spring was her favorite season, and with her birthday happening that month, what better way to get her in the happy, cheerful mood of growth and life?
She walked out from her dorm to the Castle Grounds, and immediately saw the beautiful display that had been previously set up. There was a picnic blanket, photo corner, boards for notes, tables of drinks and treats, and so, so much more! She was elated at the sight, eager to try some of everything.
She spent a solid minute just looking around, admiring the beautiful display. She seemed to be the first guest to arrive, and the only one there besides those that had done the wonderful work of preparing the whole thing.
She decided to walk over to the table, getting herself a bit of Rose Tea, deciding to go with that because of the name-match. It was also her favorite flower, so how much better could it possibly be?
She took a sip from her cup, feeling the warmth of the floral flavor spread throughout her body. It was delicious, and she couldn't wait to experience all that the party had to offer, one step at a time.Action-Walking in, getting Rose Tea!

Nick had heard about the Tea party and Nick never said no for tea so he had signed himself up for it so when he arrived he was the second there apart form the person who had started it @Cassie Jiang he didn’t recognise the other person but when he arrived he stopped for a minute just to observe the view.
Technically Nick preferred Winter to Spring but he still liked tea when he looked around he noticed a Polaroid Photo Booth note boards a table with tea and jams and sandwiches and different desserts he immediately walked up to the table and got himself some Earl Grey Tea he noticed there was quite the collection of teas and jams.
Impressive
Whilst he drank his tea he noticed there was quite other person was getting rose tea. He decided to talk to her.
Hi I’m Nicholas Jameson who are you? Quite the collection of teas and jams they got here
He stopped whilst he drank some more more of his black tea he like milk tea but there was something so nice and refreshing about black tea. When he finished he poured some more into it and began to drink as he listened to the other girl.

The Early Spring Tea Party
In the spirit of getting herself out more, Poppy had volunteered to lend a hand for Cassie's tea party. Not every day at Hogwarts was an adventure – a thing for which she wasn't at all displeased – but it certainly gave her moments of copious free time and only so many ways to occupy it on her own. Making friends was still a work in progress. There were some she was starting to see more regularly and even a few she could survive her way through conversations with, but, generally, Poppy knew that she still floated.

The best way she thought to remedy that was by showing up to places she knew others would be at. Surely, if only by accident, she may end up in some interesting conversations or a witness to something she may otherwise never see if cooped up in her common room or roaming the grounds by herself.
It wasn't that Poppy disliked interaction. Not at all. She was simply less...apt at it than many of her peers and found herself often having to work harder to maintain even her shallow relationships. She was a wallflower in many respects, a thing she knew was only hers to overcome.
One step toward that was offering to help out at the Polaroid corner. Photography? Props? The corner was practically made for the girl who was seldom seen without her father's old camera hung around her neck. It wasn't a Polaroid, though, which required her to use the one provided for the event.
Of course, if people wanted, they could take on the struggle of twisting their hand at unnatural angles and hoping to get themselves and others into the frame without any ability to see until after the photo was taken, or they could trust that their images were in good hands, pose for the stars and decorate themselves as fancifully as they liked. The rest, they could leave to her.
For the moment, Poppy was alone. Occasionally, she glanced up from her camera to take in the new arrivals, but her attention was split. Before heading over to the event, the girl had stumbled on a patch of beautiful flowers. Now, she sifted through the photos she'd taken of them with her own camera, deciding which she would keep.

@Nick Jameson4/5/26, Post 2"Oh, hello there! My name is Rosie, Rosie Willows! And yes, there are a lot of fun things here! I'm surprised at how amazing those preparing this are to make it look so good!" she said, stopping her tea-sipping for a second as she noticed a boy come over and introduce himself to her.
"Which is your favorite tea? Mine is the Rose Tea, mostly because of the whole similarity to my name. I used to hate tea, found it absolutely disgusting! Now I like it, but I am rather particular." she said, taking another sip of the drink.
She was eager to see who else would be coming, and what all they would get to do. She hoped that some people she knew would come, or that she could make some new friends, since the event seemed to be the perfect place to do so, all while surrounded by desserts and sunshine!
"Here, would you like one?" she said, grabbing a scone from the table. She loved scones, especially chocolate chip ones, and she took a bite out of it. Perfectly cooked and buttery, it was absolutely delicious.
She got another one, offering it to Nicholas in case he wanted it too. Rosie hadn't remembered to have breakfast that day. Somehow she'd forgotten, despite being in the Great Hall. She supposed she was just having too good of conversations, or perhaps was at a suspenseful part in her book, and ignored the food completely.Action-Talking to Nicholas!Location-Tea/Treats Table!

Lots of things in this world could be false, but one thing that, I can assure you, is definitely true is Harumi is likely going to join any tea related thing if she's free, maybe she'll even make time for it if she's not free.
----So when she heard about a spring themed tea party, it was obvious she was going to be there, she even helped with the preparations, because what's better than going to a tea party? Helping with its preparations first then joining it! At least that is Harumi's logic, which could be true or not.
----Perhaps at this point it was less about drinking tea and more about interacting with others and making new friends, but tea certainly added flavour, tea flavour probably.
----Looking around the party, everything seemed perfect, the tea is brewed, the desserts are done, the notes' boards are ready for the curious, and possibly mischievous too, students to write whichever they would like, and obviously there was the polaroid photo corner where Persephone, her teammate from the previous unofficial Quidditch, volunteered to take photos, it seemed to be a hobby of hers, Harumi admired that, she always admired those who try things and learn more about them.
----Harumi decided to go to the photos corner first thing, mainly because the girl was standing alone for now, perhaps she'll even offer to get tea together after taking photos. When she approached the girl, Persephone, she noticed that she was absorbed in looking at photos that Harumi couldn't see well from her standing place.
----"Hi, Poppy, How are you?" Harumi greeted with a smile, thinking that she can be casual with the girl, right? They're not exactly close friends but she's a friend of a friend and was her teammate last time, as well as the fact they were both on the preparations team, so it's fine, right? Harumi brushed off all these thoughts and looked at the girl again smiling. "Are you looking at photos you took? You seem to be talented!" Harumi pointed out curiously. "Could you take one of me too?" She smiled as she asked.

Action- Talking to @Nick Jameson & @Roslyn Willows
Location- Treats Table
The sign said,'Early Spring Tea Party." So I thought. Let's go to see what was there. When I got to the festivities there was so much to see. I saw Nick and Cassie, and two other girls already there. I first headed over to Nick. It was nice to see a familiar face, however he was already talking to someone. She had blonde hair and I heard her introduce herself. "Oh, hello there! My name is Rosie, Rosie Willows! And yes, there are a lot of fun things here! I'm surprised at how amazing those preparing this are to make it look so good!" Rosie said. I may or may not have jumped into their conversation. Without asking. "Hi Rosie, my name is Tina Carille, I'm from London, and I'm a Ravenclaw. Sorry for jumping into your conversation, I just like meeting new people! If you know what I mean." I said, then I turned to Nick. "How are you Nick? I hope you're well." I may or may not have turned a bit pink. I'll let you figure out why. As I waited for their responses, I looked around. The two girls were taking pictures. I figured I would introduce myself to them later. You still have to find a date to the Ball! I reminded myself. I didn't feel so bold as to go up to someone and ASK them but I sometimes see how things play out it's quite intresting.
"A wise girl knows her limits; A smart girl knows she has none."
The Early Spring Tea Party
@Nick Jameson & @Tina Carille4/5/26, Post 3'AH!' Rosie thought, caught off guard by another voice coming from near her. She immediately looked for who it was, a bit startled, but found the source. A girl, looking about her age, very pretty and seeming kind.
"So nice to meet you, Tina! I'm from York, and I'm a Slytherin! And yes, I get it, don't worry!" she said, pretending that she wasn't still feeling her heart race for the bit of scare.
"Here, would you like a scone?" Rosie asked, holding one out to the girl, Tina, after picking it up from the table. She was still offering one to Nick, but she was very close to just eating it herself.
"I absolutely love this party so far, isn't it just gorgeous! I absolutely love Spring, and I'm glad that there are others who share the opinion!" she said, looking up at the sky. It was relatively clear, and a gorgeous blue that made her just feel at peace. A bit of a breeze came, making her hair, which was in a half-up-half-down, move around a bit. A strand got in her face, and she swatted it away, not wanting it to tickle her while she was talking.
Speaking of talking and people and relationships, she still didn't have a date to the ball. Did she need one? Eh, probably not. Maybe she could go with a friend. She was glad it wasn't the social expectation of her to ask, but that wouldn't stop her if she wanted to. If she felt the urge, you'd best bet that she wouldn't hesitate to make her feelings known!Action-Talking to Nicholas + Tina!Location-Tea/Treats Table!

As soon as the announcement for the Spring Tea Party was posted, Zephyr had been contemplating if he would be attending or not. Tea parties were not really a huge deal back home. It’s not something you have to dressup for or made an event out of. It’s just something warm after a long day of work, something his mum brewed with herbs their family grew themselves. She would brew chamomile when someone couldn’t sleep, mint when someone was unwell, and something a bit stronger when the weather was cold. But… when he heard about it and what it was about, something about it was familiar to him, things that reminded him of home-spring, fresh air, tea, people. So he made it there.
The first thing he noticed when he arrived was the color. There was a blanket spread on the grass, with flowers and decorations that kept the place special for that occasion. He took it all in as he slowed down. Who wouldn’t miss the different teas and pastries. He didn’t even need to read the labels to know which one is which, the scent alone was enough. His family worked with herbs his whole life, from growing, drying, preparing them for natural remedies and simple teas. He appreciated the effort behind this tea party. There was a photo corner with props and he looked there for a bit, smiling and deciding he would try that later too.
Walking further in, he smiled and raised a hand in greeting to the people in there, majority were already familiar and some were his close friends too but since they’re all engaged with other people, he didn’t want to intrude so he went to find something else to do for now and ended up to the side where the boards were located. There were available notes, quills and ink bottles to use. He could tell from the setup that it’s to write messages. “That’s nice…” A simple gesture that meant a lot. He grabbed a small piece of parchment and the quill, and dipped the latter into the ink. Without thinking so much about it, he started writing.

Her head snapped up at the sound of her name, the voice taking her by surprised in the midst of her distraction. The girl had been so engrossed in her review that she never noticed the other girl's approach. It should have been warning enough for her to pay more attention. Merlin only knew how many others may have swung by to find her otherwise occupied. So many opportunities to snap smiles may have already passed through her fingers while they clicked buttons on the camera.
As blue-green eyes rose, they recognised the Hufflepuff immediately. Harumi. Being in the same year, they shared a few of their classes, but it was more recent events that tugged at her recollection.
First, the unofficial Quidditch match, then the time they'd spent orbiting each other while they helped Cassie get her tea party up and running.
"I—I'm alright," Poppy replied brightly. She lowered her camera, giving her company her full attention.
"Nothing... nothing from the party so far," she asnwered regarding the photos she'd taken. "Just a—a few shots from the walkover—flowers, mostly. W—With spring coming, the grounds—they're really turning into something spectacular—Sorry, I'm rambling."
Wait, she wanted a picture? Really?
The young girl's entire face lit up at the question, her head bobbing up and down with enthusiasm.
"Sure! I—I'd love to—oh! Here!" Poppy stepped toward the prop table, extending her hand in gesture for Harumi to take a look. "We..we've got all sorts of things you might like. Hats, flowers—some hats have flowers on them. Uh...ummm..." Her gaze scanned the table excitedly, and inside her mind whirled many ideas for potential compositions. "Oh! Right! We've got...we've got display tea sets in case y—you wanted to pose at the other table with one. There are a few colours you can choose from—pink's my favourite—but you don't have to use that one or anything. Completely up to you!"
The delicate borders along each cup contrasted well against the white background, giving them each their own personality.
