PV Alexis Potions and hopefully a friend...

Alexis had scheduled out all her time perfectly: wake up, dress, breakfast, get to class, excel in my classes. This went well till she got lost a few times but she made it to potions on time, can't say the same about her other classes but she made it to potions and gotten an okay seat.
She was looking at her potions book, Magical Drafts and Potions, it was a good sized book smaller then most of the other class books they needed. She's a bit worried about who she will end up having to sit with she doesn't want to make a bad impression but she also doesn't want to fail potions. So when a Slytherin girl walks up and asks Is this seat taken? Alexis smiles brightly and shakes her head quickly as the girl sits and introduces herself as Selina. I'm Alexis Marlene Lupen, but you can just call me Alexis, since no one calls me by both my first names.
Alexis shifts her things over a bit to make room for Selina at the table. "So, do you think you'll be any good at potions? I think i'll do okay since i cook a lot at home but I'm not too great with measurements but I'm REAAALLLY good at improvising.

Alexis smiled and shook her head "I really don't i just pretend i know what's going on and it seems to work."
As more students came in from the corridors and found seats around the room i pull out a little box of Bertie Bott Every Flavor Beans and holds it out under the table so the professor doesn't see "Want one? They should mostly taste good my younger brother ate most of the bad ones before I left on the train yesterday... he's a bit odd says the grass flavored one is best, he was dropped on his head as a baby so that might be why." she says smiling very big while taking a lime green one and eating it.
"What about you do you got any siblings? I've got nine four older five younger. not all from the same mum though but still too many kids in one house." It's becoming very apparent Alexis rambles on and enjoys a good conversation.
The Professor comes in and goes to his desk before class since class wont start for a few more minutes. Alexis eats a few more Bertie Botts before putting them in her bag and opening her work book.

"Oh, I dont have siblings. Im an only child. At home its just me, mum and dad. I bet its really nice, tho. Having siblings." Selina answered. "Its almost like an emergency friend. A person u can rely on. I wish I had that" Alexis nods and smiles, thinking about what Silena said while chewing on her Bertie Bott, "Yeah it's nice you never get bored their just rather annoying especially when you share a room with two of them." She says eating another one this time an teal one she makes a face at it scrunching her nose and furrowing her brows. "Tripe. Anyway it must be nice being an only child i bet you get lots of presents on your birthday and Christmas. OH AND you don't have to worry about your siblings stealing you clothes and burning them in a fire... that sounded weird..." She says hearing herself as she said it and looks over at Silena, "it's a long story preferably for another time." She says and pauses as she flips though her book of Magical Drafts and Potions a few times looking for the page written on the board in some yellowish white chalk about curl for boils potion. "Sooooooo what do you do for fun like are you going to try and join any clubs or teams like quidditch, deuling, broom racing maybe, or like tutoring maybe if that's your thing?" Alexis asks as another student flops into a seat next to them and puts their head down so they wont be bothered. "they look like they have had a terrible day." She whispers so the new student doesn't see her whisper to Silena. Alexis is really excited that she found a good person to sit with and hopes that they will be good friends.

Selina took another bean

"Yeah. In some ways its nice. But It gets really quiet and boring." Selina Replied. Selina saw that Alexis was taking her book out, so she probably should too. She took the big thick book out of her black bag.

Alexis asks as another student flops into a seat next to them and puts their head down so they wont be bothered. "they look like they have had a terrible day." She whispers so the new student doesn't see her whisper to Selina.
"Yeah... cant blame them, I dont like early monings either." Selina whispered back "Well anyway. I would really love to join the duelling club. It sounds so exhilarating. Standing one on one. I would also really love to join the quidditch team. As seeker. I dont think I would be any good as any other post. But that ofc is if I can make the team. I doubt that. I really love music tho. " Selina liked talking more than she realized. "I listen to music all the time. I really wish I could play in a band. But how about you? What do u do? Or what would u like to do?" Selina asked with a smile, already enjoying the thought of being in all the hogwarts activities.

"Well, I hope to get to be a chaser on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team Wesley is the announcer for Gryffindors team and I really want to win a game he announces and he will have to say i won, I also want to get into dueling but quidditch first. She says matter of factly as she looks at the vials of potion ingredients on the table there's Lacewing flies curled up in the bottom of the jar, Boomslang skin that looks quite gross, and knotgrass that is overflowing the jar. "That's cool your into music i enjoy it but its hard to listen to what you want when there's always someone who wants a different song or something. I think the closest school activity to a band if frog choir. Which is cool but, I mean I'd join cause I sing sometimes, but I'd only join if I, well, got declined for every other activity... but I'm sure you could start a band or like music club or something right. Alexis says thinking about it while she tells her but she definitely won't be joining frog choir because she hates how the frogs get slimy.

"Yeah I guess I could start my own band or something. Cause I definently wont be joining frog quore. I hate frogs they're so... slimy" Selina said with disgust. "Im sure you could get on the quidditch team tho. You seem like a good flyer-" Said Selina, but got interupted, by the proffesor. Who was announcing that we were gonna make cure for boils today. Selina was pleased that we were going to make the cure for boils. If she was going to put weird things in a cauldron, than atleast it wasnt gonna make somethingg useless. So, just like every other student, she and Alexis got to work. In the first few minutes of slight stress of figuring out where everything were, Selina and Alexis didnt talk. Mostly because they were too focused making sure they didnt end up poisining themselves. As Selina was puttiing ingrediens in the cauldron she asked:
"So what other classes are u exited for? Im relly exited for charms. Seems like the funnest. Learning charms we r allowed to use on a daily basis. Seems quite useful if u ask me. But im also exited for defence the dark arts too. It seems pretty interesting. But how about u?. Selina asked slightly curious.

Alexis got excited at being asked what classes she is excited for, "Oh! I can't wait for Defense Against Dark Arts i want to be an Auror or something someday so it will be VERY very helpful you know and then i'm also excited for transfiguration i think it will be hard but cool since we will probably learn about Animagi and how to become one which i'd totally do." She looks at the recipe in the book and measures some Powdered Bicorn Horn it floofs up a bit Alexis backs up so she doesn't inhale it then passes it to Silena. "sooo who do you think will blow something up first? I'd put galleons on the three gryffindors in the front they look rough and its smoking weird." She watches Silena put the powder in the cauldron it instantly gurggles and turns a blueish color smell rotten but everyones does this one is just slightly more like socks "Maybe i put Galleons on us going boom first..." Alexis says nervously looking down at the potion raising her hand slightly as it gurgles "ummm... Prof-" Then it bubbles a bit and turns darker almost navy blue and BOOM!!!!! IT EXPLODES!

BOOM! Selinas and Alexis's potion had exploded, and they were both now covered in the navy blue liquid, which by the way smelled horrible. As they both stood there covered and staring at eachother. Selina knew she should be serious and see this as failure, but se couldnt help but laugh.
"hahaha. Look at us!" she said holding her hands to her stomach from laughter. To Selinas relief she wasnt the only one laughing. Alexis was too, and also the most in the class. Tho some sniggered. Selina tried to brush off the navy liquid on her robes, but was quite unsuccessful and it seemed like it had stuck on her robes. She really hoped it could be washed, cause it smelled vile.
"Ew. This is disgusting" Selina said with disgust looking at her robes. What was left of the potion was either on them the floor or in the cauldron. So Selina and Alexis got straight to cleaning their own disaster. This probably wasnt the best first impression to have on ppl, Selina thought. But what is done is done. Selina put her hair up, something she probaby should have done in the start and started scrubbing the cauldron.
"This probably isnt so bad. Im sure we wont be the only failing." Selina assured looking around at the other students, which faces was still turned against Selina and Alexis. "We will be fine" Selina sent a weak smile. She was really hoping for some kind of disaster to happen to someone else. So she wouldnt look like a fool alone.
