Sam had just gotten to the library and found a nice table with a few couches surrounding it. He was waiting for something to happen. Though, he was also reading a book on pranks that he had gotten back when he was 8. He was hoping to find a small group of kids his age that liked to study but also had a prankster side to them. He was wanting to meet new kids and actually start making some friends. Perhaps this will be the day that it will happen. He is really hoping that this idea will work out. Besides, planning pranks is always better when there are more people to work with. He likes doing pranks plus it is a bonus that nobody has ever caught him while he played a prank on them. His family and others that he's pranked can say that he is a bit of a prankster. Sam's favorite animal is a fox because they are sly and mischievous. Plus, having other kids with different ideas will be fun. They can study, get to know each other, and will be able to prank other people. He just wants to start with a small group first but will later expand it.

"Whoops." Rosalyn muttered to herself, realizing where she had accidentally walked into. She had meant to go to her dorm, but got turned around by a moving staircase, which redirected her to here. She had been in the library before, but she hadn't meant to go right then.
"Well, since I'm here anyways, might as well check out a book." she muttered again, as she walked over to the shelves to see what they have. There were so, so, so many books, and she was overwhelmed just thinking about picking one. Perhaps she would just stick to her textbooks and the book she brought from home, her favorite.
She pulled out one of her textbooks, for her Charms class, about to sit down on a couch that she found. There was a boy sitting down on another couch near it, so she was just going to try not to bother him, and just do some studying.
"Aah!" she said, not shouting because it was a library, but falling over. She had always been clumsy, and this was pretty common, but no less embarrassing any time that it happened. She had tripped over air this time, which was also not uncommon.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to fall into you." she said, looking at the boy she had fallen into. It was the one on the couch, the one she was passing on her way to get to where she was trying to sit. The one that she had decided to not bother. Well, that plan had not gone very well.
She hoped that he wasn't hurt, or that he didn't hate her for that, as she stood up and went to go sit down. She was just going to try and keep her head down, act like nothing happened, and hopefully everything would be okay.
"Sorry again." she said, quieter, as she sat down on the couch, starting to read, still feeling terrible about falling into him. She noticed what he was reading-a book on pranks. She had always enjoyed pranks and practical jokes, especially ones so well planned out that nobody could catch her. Her favorite prank she had pulled was probably that one time that she and a group of other students set a bunch of frogs loose in the school. None of the teachers were able to track it back to them, because she managed to find the spot with no cameras and had done it at a time when nobody suspected a thing. No frogs were harmed, all of them were found and put back where they came from, but it was a lot of fun, and ended up giving them a free period as the teachers tried to figure it out.
"Ah, memories." she thought, reminiscing on those days. Who knows, perhaps she would find another fun prank to do. Alas, probably not, but still. One can hope.

Sam looked up at the girl before noticing that she had apologized a few times. He then said "No worries, its alright. Though, I don't think that the librarian liked that you shouted. Anyway, I don't think we've met before. So, anyway my name is Sam Mangum--what's your's?"
Sam was then thinking as he looked at the girl, that she was very pretty. He noticed that she was in Slytherin given her uniform. This meant that she was the second person from Slytherin that he met. The girl had curly blonde hair which seemed to suit her.
Sam then went out on a whim and asked "Hey, do you like doing pranks? Also what's your favorite animal? Mines a fox because they are very mischievous and sneaky."
Sam only asked the question because he saw her glancing at his book. Perhaps she was a fellow prankster. He remembered the first prank he did on his younger sisters which was when he took out all their stuffed animals and made them start dancing and singing but he made them have to find their stuffed animals since he hid them all around the family Manor. His mother actually helped him since he couldn't do magic outside of Hogwarts and he didn't know the spells to charm the animals to dance and sing.

Sam then looked up to notice another girl had joined him and Rosalyn. This girl also had a Slytherin Uniform. However, he hasn’t seen her around in the common room or interacted with her before either. He then looked down at his prank book before replying “Well, I’m not quite sure yet and my book isn’t for kids. It’s actually just wearing that cover for jokes for kids. The book is actually one of my own from my family’s library back home. It actually has advanced pranks and a few blank pages for pranks to be written down so that it will be a prank book of generations. The very first prank in here was written by my great-great-great-great-great grandfather. However, I was thinking of doing this one right here.”

He then spoke again saying “It requires a few charm spells that are quite simple but the main thing of it requires a large group of people and basically what happens is when said large group of people walk through a doorway and when the charms are placed just so, each person when they try to talk will start making animal sounds. How does that sound? I’m open to any suggestions.”
He then waited a bit for the girls to think while he adjusted his tie. It was a little bit too tight around his neck so he loosened the silver and green tie a bit.

Karime was heading to the library to find more books to read about space, the stars and astrology. She has enjoyed her Astronomy class so much but in her free time she reads books too so she can be more knowledgeable about it. She was heading in to return the two books she had already and maybe look for books about astrology. She was curious about taro reading and astrology. She was ecstatic as she couldn't wait to head home and tell her brother in person all that she learn and maybe even practice on him or herself for taro reading

Karime returned the books and then started going through the section that the Librarian told her books about astrology and Taro reading would be in. To say she was religious spiritually is what you would think and as Karime read more about it she felt that way too. She finds two books and is happy as she goes to check them out but….
She heard people near the couch section. She noticed a first year Slytherin boy with a book in his hand and was joined by a Slytherin girl with blond hair and another Slytherin girl with brown hair. Karime was a bit nervous to come up to them as she saw the boy had the book open and saw it was a prank book. She heard him say something about a prank that was his favorite.
Karime isn't much of a pranker as it's more so her older brother but she was curious as maybe she could learn from these three slytherin people about pranks. She felt it was a weird coincidence that she was seeing three slytherins in the library together and that her older brother was a Slytherin when he attended Hogwarts. Karime got the courage and went up to them and asked softly “Um hi… what are you guys looking at?”

Lily was stressed. She had to do pending charms homework, but she couldn't find the perfect book for it. She also had to get a book on Potions, which was her favourite subject, mainly because she was good at it. She had asked many of her friends, but none had a book on the topic.
She decided to go to the Library and search there, she seemed pretty sure that she would find it. She entered the Library, greeting the librarian on the way. She immediately started looking for the books, not wasting any second. She had to complete her homework too, it was due the next day.
She went to the Potions aisle, passing the couches and the low set tables placed there. She found three Slytherins and a Ravenclaw. She hadn't seen any of the Slytherins before, but she knew the Ravenclaw. Karime. She was in some of her classes, and she knew her because she and Maddy had accidentally charmed her and two other people. They had apologized to them, even promising to give treats, and now they were friends.
She approached them, unsure of what she was going to hear. And oh, the boy was holding a prank book. She had seen that prank book, however not bothered to actually read it. She guessed that they were talking about pranking. She chuckled, thinking about the times, she had pranked her friends, and when she had been pranked by others. Oh, how could she forget the times she had pranked others with Maddy.
She walked towards them, and said, "Hey Karime."

Sam then looked up and noticed two girls coming closer. He then heard one girl with long dark brown girl say something to the dark curly haired girl. So, the girl with the dark curly hair is Karime. He noticed that the one girl with dark brown long hair was wearing a Hufflepuff tie and Karime was wearing a Ravenclaw tie. 'Well, what a group this was' he thought. 'Three Slytherins, one Hufflepuff, and one Ravenclaw.'
He then saw that the girl named Karime asked a question to which he replied "Well, we were just discussing what prank we could do for those who enter the Great Hall or at least some room that has a doorway. Haven't gotten that far as to where it should be done. Anyway, my name is Sam, Sam Mangum and what is your name? Also do you like doing pranks and what do you like to do for hobbies?"
To the girl with the long dark brown hair he said "What brings you here to this little corner of the library? What's your name? Mine is Sam Mangum. Do you like doing pranks, if so do you have any suggestions on what to do or add? It's really useful having somebody else's opinion rather than just my own."
Oh, boy, hopefully he didn't frighten the two girls away but he gets really hyper on things that he loves to do. Plus, he is already comfortable with Rosalyn and um, right Maira, so whenever he gets used to the people around him he tends to become very talkative especially to those that he trusts. Hopefully, he didn't say too much too quickly. Though, it was unusual for him to get this comfortable with other girls that weren't his two younger sisters but perhaps it is because so far the other girls are interested in pranks and maybe that is why he is comfortable around them.

Karime saw as the boy looked up and answered her question. He introduces himself as Sam and Karime nods her head as she keeps that name and face in mind so if she sees him around know who he is. Karime listens as he asks her,“what is your name? Also do you like doing pranks and what do you like to do for hobbies?" Karime smiles as she answers, “Hi Sam my name is Karime Lenior. I haven't really done much pranks.” She chuckles nervously as she said, “My brother is more of a prankster and so I think I've been pranked on more than pranked people. I like to draw, ice skate and to run.”

Karime then hears some say her name and hi. She turns her head as she sees its Lily. Karime smiles as she says, “Hey Lily how have you been? What brings you to the library?” Karime remembers when Lily and her roommate Maddy/Madeline pranked her and three other people by accident because Madeline was trying to pull a prank on her older brother. Karime still remembers being forced to dance as chuckles as her and Lily became friends after the whole ordeal funny enough
Karime saw as Lily got closer to them and saw the book in Sam’s hand. Karime had a feeling and listened when Sam asked Lily if she liked pranks and had any suggestions. Karime remembers the prank Lily pulled and knows Lily probably has more experience in pranking people then Karime does.

Rosalyn snapped out of it at last. She had been zoning out for a solid several minutes, and had absolutely no clue what was going on in the conversation around her. She tended to do that quite often, which annoyed her parents a lot.
"Sorry, I'm Rosalyn, what did I miss?" she asked, noticing that there were way more people on the couch than just her and the boy that she fell on. Her arm was a bit sore from that, and she was rubbing it absently, hoping that she hadn't missed too much of the conversation while she was zoned out.
She quickly counted those on the couch or near it, and came up with the number of five including herself. There were three Slytherins, a Ravenclaw, and a Hufflepuff, based on outfits. She was pretty sure that she had seen the other two Slytherins around, and perhaps the others in some classes, but hadn't yet met them.
She wasn't opposed to the idea, however, as she enjoyed making new friends, just as long as it wasn't a complete waste of her time. She couldn't even remember what she had come into the library for in the first place, but now found herself in the middle of whatever was happening on the couch that somehow went from two to five people quite quickly.
