Flood

Cory sat at her table, silently and without glancing at the other girl opposite her. A book of her own was plopped down onto the table, particles of dust billowing outwards. 
"Hey" She muttered quietly despite her eyes being focused on the pages of her Transfiguration guide.

Yuki finished about 5 chapters of her book when she noticed the girl sitting by her. "Um...hello, I'm Yuki. What's your name? Just wondering." Yuki loves meeting new people and she liked this girl sitting next her, and wanted to be friends with her.

"The name's Cory." She let a small smile slip into her features in an attempt to lighten the mood. "What that you got there?" she motioned to the book Yuki was reading.

"Oh, just the book about the history of Hogwarts. Anyway, nice to meet you Cory!" Yuki smiles. Yuki reaches into her bag and started eating her chicken and veggie sandwich. "Yum! So good!" Yuki says to herself with her mouth stuffed with food.

Alexandra entered the Great Hall, she looked around her, looking for an empty table. Or almost empty. She spotted one right away and walked towards it. She carried with her the book, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. Alexandra plopped herself right down next to a blue-haired girl. Alexandra opened to her bookmarked page in her book. She looked over at the blue-haired girl and noticed the girl was reading a book. She didn't want to be rude for staring, so she said, "Hello. I'm Alexandra Knight, what book is that?"

"Oh. Its 'The History of Hogwarts'." Yuki replied to Alexandra. "Hey. Don't I know you...Oh you're in Raven Claw too right? I remember seeing you at the sorting hat event." Yuki said. "Well, nice to meet you. Oh and also if you didn't already know, my name is Yuki."

"Yes, I am in Ravenclaw, as well as you are." Alexandra nodded slightly. "And I do know your name is Yuki, Yuki Northcott I believe?" She tapped her chin. "What type of books are you into?" Alexandra asked out of curiosity. She rested her chin on her hand and flipped through the pages of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.
