You couldn't even describe how excited I was for this day. I had been waiting for this day, the entire summer ever since we got back from our family vacation. Who wouldn't want to spend seven days with her best friend in your own house and then seven days in Greece also with your best friend and then seven more days at your best friends house?
Yup, that was the plan. And Linda, my bestie was supposed to arrive any minute now. She would be coming by car, so it wouldn't attract so much attention.
"Calm down, Reyna!" my mom said.
"Why should I become more than my best friend is coming over any minute now!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down in excitement.
Waiting was a pain. But I would be patient because good things happened to patient people. I sighed and sat down.
Then, I jumped up again. This was because I had heard a distant car engine. I ran to the front door and pulled it open, slamming it behind me. My parents followed.
"I think she's here!" I shouted. I didn't care if the neighbors heard me. Why should I care? My best friend was coming and that was all that mattered. We were going to have a blast on our August adventure. That was what I liked to call it. I couldn't wait for our adventures to begin, and this summer was going to be in one of the best ever.

Linda woke up early this day. It was a day she was waiting for so much. She already had her backpack prepared. She took some clothes with her and some shoes to change while she will be at Reyna's house. It's going to be very special time.

She washed her face, made her hairstyle and decided to wear white top with black skirt today. There was headband on her head as well as earrings, necklace and bracelet. She was going by car and it was supposed to come soon. So she ate some biscuits quickly, took some cupcakes with her to give them to Reyna and after drinking lemon water she was ready to go.

Her family already knew that after 7 days she will be in Greece with Reyna and after that they will come to Linda's house. After saying goodbye to family she went out and got to the train. After that she took a taxi. This will be perfect way to arrive as Reyna was living in muggle world and Linda didn't want to attract unnecessary attention.

She was on her way and she was wondering what Reyna was feeling now. She might be quite happy now that it was just some minutes till their meeting. The road took her around 45 minutes and now she was so close to her bestie's home.

As she went out of the car, she saw Reyna already was outside. She might have heard car coming. Linda smiled and went to hug Reyna. It was so happy time and all their summer adventure was just starting. Hi bestie, how are you? Were you waiting long?

Turned out that the car was Linda. I was so excited that I ran up to her and gave her a hug. Jumping up and down, Linda greeted me.
I greeted her back, saying, "Hey Linda! I am great. I've been waiting for this day for a very long time and I'm so glad that you are finally here. How are you? Also, what's that box you're holding in your hand?" The box looked like a cupcake box. Cupcakes were delicious and cupcakes with your friends were even better. I led Linda towards our house and decided that I would give her a tour of the house first. I told my mom that, and she nodded her head.
I would show her the inside, the outside, my bedroom, where she will be staying, the common areas, and more. Our house was basically a mansion and was pretty huge with lots of space I would also introduce her to my pet dog, Aurum.
I wondered if she was a dog or cat person or both. I was both, so I hoped she was both to. I also had a cat, and the two of them got along quite well, which was good. But now it was time to show Linda around our house. After all, she was probably tired from the long journey.
"Hey Linda, are you too tired to take a tour around my house? If you aren't then I can show you around today or I can tomorrow." I said. And I waited for a response.

Linda smiled at her bestie's enthusiasm. I'm great. I was waiting for it since we just planned it. Also here in box are cupcakes for you. I can't believe we are going to have such awesome August together. She was so excited for this month. She already dyed her hair in red some days after coming home but ever since all her thoughts were in August. Although she had something else great happened some time ago.

She greeted Reyna's parents so she doesn't sound rude and returned her attention to where Reyna was leading her.

Linda was both a cat and a dog person. Actually she just liked animals. Then she heard Reyna asking her. No, I'm not tired. You can show me around now if you want. She smiled and looked around. Reyna's house looked really nice. It was light and although it was big and spacious, it still was a bit smaller than hers. But she didn't care about it. She felt happy here and for first time she was so interested in exploring the whole place. For sure as much as she could do it.

It's so nice here. I really like it already. Linda smiled so happily. The staircase and entrance were already so nice and she could already have some expectations from it. Then she remembered that Reyna was half blood so she became interested if she had something muggle in her house. Linda looked around, but decided to not ask this question. She would see it during the house tour.

I was glad that Linda wasn’t too tired. That was good. I could show her around now! Linda greeted my parents and showed me that there were cupcakes inside the box. I grinned.
“We can have the cupcakes together after I show you around!” I replied.
I led her inside, my parents following me. They went into the kitchen but I stayed near the entrance. “This is the front entrance, the staircases are close by. There are 3 floors; this which is the main floor, the basement and the bedrooms floor which is upstairs.” I paused, hoping she understood then continued, “On the main floor we have the living room, right over here, the kitchen located here, the dining room, here a bathroom right here and a little office which is my dad’s here. That’s probably where you would go if you’d like to see more muggle things.”
I hoped she didn’t think I was speaking too fast. But I led her upstairs.
“My parents bedroom is this and mine is this one.” I lingered on that one a bit. “Yours which is our guest room is right beside mine so we can easily go from one room to another!” I let her into the room and showed her where all her bags were, “And this last one is my grandparents room but they’re out and about currently. They should be back soon.”
That was basically the whole floor. “Oh and I forgot! This is the upstairs lounge and my mom’s office is close by over here. I wouldn’t recommend going in there she probably wouldn’t like it.”
I decided to take a small break. “I’ll show you the basement next, it’s the best part! But Ado you have any questions? And also, how’s your summer been so far?” I asked.
I hoped she liked the tour so far because I wasn’t the best tour guide.

Linda was looking around with her bestie showing her different places in the house. It looked quite awesome. When they came to a room where she would stay, Li decided to tell Reyna that she already liked it here. It's so nice, I like your home. She said while smiling. It felt comfortable and friendly here.

No I don't think I have any questions now. She couldn't think of any questions now, unless whether she would have to deal with something she didn't see before. Unless there's something that is only in non-magic world, I guess I don't have questions. But there definitely will be a lot of them with something I never saw before. You know it's my first time been in non-magic house. Linda looked so excited now. First time in someone's house who lives in muggle world and she felt like she could actually learn a lot here. Though she won't able to have anything in her mansion as it won't work there.

She then wondered about one thing. Where do you offer to eat cupcakes? And what should we do now? I'm not tired, but probably I'd like to take bathroom and change my clothes and then I'm up to anything. This time they could use to know each other even more and she was going to take every single opportunity for becoming even closer to her bestie. Oh I changed my hair color, was on some balls, traveled to Switzerland with my brother and now I am going to have the best part of this summer with you. What about your summer so far?

"Oh you'll see a lot of muggle things around here! My dad's office has a bunch of cool stationary which you can take a look at if you'd like." I said, "Really, you've never been to a non-magic house? Well, then you'll surely see some new things!"
After I finally finished showing her around the house including the basement, Linda asked where we should eat the cupcakes and if she could clean up.
"Of course!" I led her up the stairs and showed her to her room again, her things were now on the bed. "You can clean up here and then when you're done we can eat in the kitchen and talk. Afterwards, I don't know maybe we can play a game or something? If you're not too tired."
Linda also told me about her summer and then asked me about mine. "Oh, um we went to a ball over the summer and we traveled to France to see some of my dad's relatives and my grandparents. It was really fun! Oh and I spent a lot of time with my family and my dog Aurum! Both my cat Argentum and my dog Aurum get along really well!" I answered.
I pointed over to a little area where my dog Aurum was chasing my cat Argentum. I petted the two of them and fed them some food.
"See!" I said, "They love to play with each other a lot! And they're super hyper! Also didn't you get a cat as well?"
I was excited to get to know Linda even better. This time together would surely improve our friendship. We were besties after all.

That would be really cool, but only if it's okay and if you are ready to keep explaining me a lot of things. Linda laughed. Yours is first. My friends before Hogwarts are all in wizarding world, and during the year I wasn't at anyone's house. Linda smiled. It was going to quite knowledgeable.

I'm not tired, don't worry. That sounds awesome! Li smiled enthusiastically. She didn't need much, but she was going to prepare herself and change her clothes. This was certainly going to be incredible.

Linda smiled while listening to her bestie about summer and about her pets. Yeah, I have kitten Lila Moon. We also have family owl, pygmy puff for my brother and now that lovely kitten. They were playing together when I went. Today was surely a day Li smiled a lot. It was just so indescribable exciting to be here and so soon they would know about each other more.

Linda reached her hair and let them fall freely on her sides. They grew longer a bit now and she was happy with it. Later she would put them in braid or another hairstyle, but for now she enjoyed it like that. She took a little time on cleaning herself and changing her clothes and in no time was ready for Rey to lead her to the kitchen with cupcakes. Certainly this was going to be the best summer and hopefully it was just beginning.

I smiled as Linda spoke and nodded my head. Eventually, she went into the room and cleaned up. In the mean time, I could not stop smiling. Surely I would teach Linda a few muggle games. Maybe pool. We had a pool table in the basement after all. But first food.
In not long, Linda was out of the room. We headed down the stairs to go to the kitchen to eat cupcakes. We set out the box and I picked up a cupcake.
"Thanks again for the cupcakes," I said smiling, "Hey have you ever seen a microwave before?"
I wanted to know what Linda had and had not seen. Reyna grabbed something from the shelf. I was a set of friendship bracelets that she had made before Linda had come.
"Here," I gave one to Linda, "These are friendship bracelets and I wanted to give one to you!" I smiled.
I hoped that she liked them. I took a bite of the cupcake. "Yummm!!! These are delicious! Did you make them or did you get them from somewhere?" I asked.
I took another bite of the cupcake savoring the delicious taste. It was sooo good and it was even better with a friend. This would be a fun week. First at my house, then Greece and after that Linda's house. I was very excited.
