Zach ran through corridors to the Charms Class with a brown satchel slung over his shoulder. He was anxious but the adrenaline kept him running. It was completely his fault because he was zoning out for some minutes before Charms Class. He ran quickly and hoping he was not too late. When he was on the third floor, he still saw some students entering the classroom casually. He slowed his step down and walked towards the class, panting because he was already tired from his run. When he entered the class, he saw that the class was not full yet. "What time is it? I thought I've already late," he thought. He controlled his breathe so he would not be heard panting hardly and disturbing his surroundings. Impression from others really matters for him. When he found the clock in the class, it turned out that there was still plenty time before the class made him palm his face.

He looked around to find an empty seat and found one. It was beside a girl with scarlet red hair. He decided to walk toward the seat. When he got to the chair he found that the red hair girl was so pretty. He had seen her before, in the first year, but he had never this close to her. She had white and pale skin, actually same as him, and a very charming blue eyes that reminded him of the blue ocean. It was unusual feeling for him except one time he met the leader of the On Pointe Dance Club and felt the same feeling. He actually did not know what it was and decided to neglect it.

She seemed reading a book and Zach hesitated to interrupt her. However, he need to sit before his legs started to collapse. So he screw up courage to asked her about the seat. "Uhm... I'm sorry... Is this seat already occupied?" said Zach with an awkward smile.

Once the girl observed a boy with dark and straight black hair come over to her desk, she put her book away. He asked if the seat besides her was occupied.

He started talking, she looked at him, so she wouldn’t be considered “rude”. ”It isn’t occupied. You can sit here if you’d like.” she said, answering his question. Hannah actually really wanted to talk to someone, since she was bored, and definitely did not want to read the book. The book was good, but it was also ending, and she was stuck with the book for the rest of the day. It would also be a good idea to make a new friend, and this boy seemed like the perfect fit. He looked nice, and he was a Ravenclaw, which meant he probably was smart, like her.

Hannah thought of what had happened in the Summer, her meeting her cousins, the trip to Mexico... Everything.

I should probably introduce myself..“I’m Hannah, by the way.” she said, smiling, showing no teeth. The boy seemed nice, so she didn’t grab her book, she had started the conversation after all, well, actually he had started the conversation, asking if the seat was occupied. She just decided to continue thinking, and not reading, since it would probably be incredibly rude.

After Zach asked if the seat was occupied to the girl, he saw that she put her book away and looked at him. Then she answered that the seat was not occupied yet. "Oh, great! Thank you," Zach said. He took a sit and took a bottle of water out from his satchel. The running through corridors really exhausted him. He needed rehydration and began to take some sips of water and put it back inside the satchel. "Thank goodness I can finally sit and rest my feet. I think grandpa is right. I need to start cardio before my stamina's depleted and my body's weakened," he thought while closing his eyes and took some deep breath.

The girl again talked to him and introduced herself as Hannah. Zach stuttered when he heard the girl's voice "Oh yeah... Uhm hi, Hannah," he really wanted to palm his face. It was so embarrassing to be stuttered but he could not help but being surprised because he was not expected the girl to talk to him especially when he was looked like that. His cheeks started to become red because of his embarrassing stutter. "Sorry, I mean... Mine is Zach. Nice to meet you," He said. Giving her a simple smile with a red cheeks.

He looked at the book on Hannah's desk and continued. "What are you reading? Is it a good book?" Nice little chat might help him calm his mind before the heavy study. And maybe he got one or two book recommendations too. His uncle must be proud of his progress of making friends, or at least acquaintances.

The boy thanked her, she nodded. "Yeah, it's no problem. she said. He took out a water bottle, and she didn't want to seem weird, so she looked at her book.

So his name was Zach. "Cool, nice to meet you!" she spoke, trying not to sound too happy. The girl was in fact happy, to make a new friend. She smiled, after he did the same.

The boy, Zach, asked what book she was reading. "It doesn't have a name. It's kind of like a journal, of a Polish witch and her discovering magic and everything. It's made up, but, yeah, it's pretty good." she left out the detail that she was Muggle-born, since Zach could be Muggle-born, and that would be, bad? He would probably think it was offensive. "Do you like to read? I can lend it to you once I finish, if you'd like." she smiled.

The boy seemed pretty nice, and he could be a good friend, if she could get to know him better, but first they needed to continue the conversation, and finish it. She hoped to talk to him a bit more and maybe meet him where, well, it wasn't class, since class was not a proper place to 'hang out'. If he did like reading, what would he recommend? Hannah didn't want to rush their conversation, so maybe she would ask that next.

Hannah explained the book to Zach. Zach nodded and said, "I see." The girl also asked if Zach liked to read and she could lend him the book once she had finished it. "Oh, that's cool! I would love too! And yeah, I like to read. But I don't like some writings like poem or books with ancient language that are hard to read. They just made me confused," he said. "I enjoy reading fairy tales and healing magic the most," he looked excited but he realized something and immediately added, "Oh! I mean... Healing magic is also hard to read but it doesn't need to be interpreted. I just really hate interpretation. But I'm still pretty good at it. If not, I could never enter my common room." He valued wisdom, but was it necessary for him to solve a riddle just to enter his common room? "What about you? What is your favorite book?". He realized that he had spoke too much. "It seems I can't control myself again. I just give too much information to her. I hope she's okay with that," he thought.

Zach heard some students talked about summer holiday. His holiday actually really good. He had attended Summer Camp and visited his friends and got many gifts from his mother. "Do you enjoy last Summer Camp? What cabin were you placed?"

Thankfully, the boy, Zach, responded quickly. He had said that he also liked reading, Hannah smiled at that, since she also loved reading. The girl looked at him, while she spoke. She nodded a few times after he spoke.

"Cool! I enjoy some poems and I've read some healing magic books, but I really like reading made up books and spell books." "Wait what do you mean by not getting inside your common room..?" she asked. She didn't know what he meant by that.

My favorite book? she thought for a second. The girl didn't really have a favorite book. "I don't have one, but I enjoy Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, I guess Tales Of Beadle The Bard, is also a pretty good fairy tale book." "Their both in the library." she said, answering his question.

Zach had asked about Summer Camp, which Hannah hadn't attended, but she couldn't lie. "Oh, uh, I actually didn't attend. What cabin were you in?" "I heard it was really fun!" she spoke. The girl had never actually wanted to go, eighter could go, because of her birthday, and the trip to Mexico. Maybe she would tell him that if he asked what she did instead? Probably. So she looked at her Charms book, and started flipping through it, then she put it down.

Hannah told him about her favorite genre of the books she enjoyed and liked. He found out that they have some things in common, except the poems. Zach smiled until she asked about the common room he had mentioned before. "Uh... Our house's knocker has some riddles... or puzzles for us. Wh should answer them correctly in order to enter our common room. It's not a convenient way to enter the room if you ask me," He explained to Hannah. "What about your house? Gryffindor value bravery. It doesn't mean that you guys have to fight something to enter your own common room, does it?" He just hoped that they didn't have to do that. Just imagine some Gryffindors fought something in front of the Fat Lady while she was singing some classical songs. "It would be ridiculous," he thought.

"The Tales of Beedle the Bard is indeed a good wizards' fairy tale book and also my favorite book even though some of the stories really scared me," he responded to her answer. None of the muggle fairy tales was scary enough as The Warlock's Hairy Heart. If he read that at night and had no one in his room, he definitely wouldn't be able to sleep. "I like The Fountain of Fair Fortune the most."

Hannah also told him that she didn't attend the Summer Camp. "You didn't?" Summer Camp was a great experience to him, except for his first day in his cabin. "I'm in Occamy Cabin. The first day in the cabin was tense. Maybe because it was the first day and we had not bonded yet. After all, the Summer Camp is great. We could do some activities and watched sports between our school and others." Zach looked at his surroundings for some seconds then asked, "So you already had some plans in the last summer? What did you do last summer holiday?"

Zach told her that they needed to answer a riddle, which was quite nice. Then, he asked if they needed fight something to get inside, the girl giggled a bit, then said "I wish we had to answer riddles, but, we have to memorize a password, it changes every fortnight, or two weeks. Same thing. Gosh, imagine having to fight something? That would be horrid." It would be horrible, and a very bad idea, someone could end up badly hurt.

"It's a good book, which story scared you? I guess 'The Warlock's Hairy Heart' is kind of torture, if you ask me." she told him. He then told her he really liked The Fountain of Fair Fortune, then Hannah spoke "That's a good one, but I don't really have a favorite, to be honest. I like all of them, in some ways."

She shook her head, when Zach spoke. "Yeah, I didn't, my parents would never let me go." she said. "That sounds fun, I wish I went, but I ended up going to Mexico, then I went to Argentina, which was pretty fun. I also met my two cousins and celebrated my birthday." the girl told him. Hopefully she didn't talk too fast.

Zach nodded at Hannah's answer about the way Gryffindor students entered their common room and giggled along with the scarlet-haired girl. "Super horrible," he said. The fact that the school was also dangerous itself, it couldn't be impossible if The Lions must face their fears before entering their common room. Zach was somewhat relieved when he heard that they didn't have to fight something. "Believe me, Hannah. It's not convenient to answer some riddles before entering our common room. Just imagined how much time must be wasted for it," he said while rolling his eyes.

"... I guess 'The Warlock's Hairy Heart' is kind of torture, if you ask me." said the Gryffindor girl. It seemed that Zach was not the only one who thought that the story was horrible. "It is. It's indeed very horrible. I wouldn't sleep if I read it at midnight," he said while giving her a slightly serious look. Just imagine someone put their heart out of their body until it became hairy and would eat its owner. Then he listened to Hannah again and he nodded by her response. Zach learnt that Hannah was the type of reader who had a wide range of tastes based on her answers about not having a favorite book, including the stories in The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

Hannah told him that her parents wouldn't let her go to summer camp. It was the opposite of Zach's mom who told him to join it. She also said that she went abroad like Mexico and Argentina, met her cousins, and had a birthday. "That's cool! It must be super exciting!" Zach said excitedly. Then he added, "Happy birthday, Hannah! When is your birthday if I may know?" Zach really want to do something cool with spells but there were not appropriate spells from the first year for congratulating someone. Also, he just spent his second year for fifteen days. Not long after that, Zach realized something. "You didn't go to those places with brooms, right?" It must be torture to go to far places with brooms. And Zach hated broom.
