The Gobstones Extravaganza

Welcome to the Gobstones Extravaganza. This is a club for fun activities all based around gobstones. We will be hosting Gobstones rounds and club meetings where we can experience competition and enjoyment. Thank you so much to Mia Alexander and Aravis Escanora, Amadea Campbell, and Cecilly Quinn, previous leaders of the Gobstones Club, who made this process so much easier, and possible. Anyone and everyone can join the club from first years to adults, and we’ll all enjoy some fun competition.

First of all, what is Gobstones?

Gobstones is a game similar to the Muggle game of Marbles. There are three different ways to play Gobstones:

Classic: To win, you must knock seven Gobstones out of the circle before your opponent. This is the official game and is the standard.
Jack Stone: After four snaps, your Gobstone must be the closes to the Jack Gobstone
Snake Pit: Similar to Jack Stone, but instead of a Jack Stone in the middle of the circle, there is a hole.

Other Requirements

You must possess the Gobstones set which can be purchased in Diagon Alley for 13 sickles. However if you cannot afford it for now, there are five gobstones sets for the club. Let me know and I will give a set to you and we can exchange it back and forth as we see who needs the gobstones set for the competition side of things.

Announcement

Our First Meeting will be held at Outdoor Camp Area! Bring your Gobstones Sets as I will be pairing you up to play with each other. As there is an uneven amount of people, I do need one person to be both player and moderator if possible! If not, we can just have a fun game with a person fighting twice.
