A Charming Start
Axyen after going through what felt like a maze got to the Charms classroom. He didn't enter yet, he wanted to wait for his friend @Addie Richards. He was excited, he had sent an owl to her and now he waited, thinking about all the spells they'll both learn here. He struggled to hold still and enter the classroom. He imagined homework, he was going to make sure he found all of it fun. He wanted to meet the professor, and finally put his wand to good use. He knew class hadn't; started yet, well it would soon. Axyen rose early, he has been dreaming for this for years and years. He wanted to make a good impression, he fixed the Hufflepuff badge on his uniform, making the badge look it a little more straight. Axyen didn't know how good he would be at Charms the only way to find out was by attending. No, Axyen, stop making excuses to enter early. Axyen scolded himself, not out loud, that'd be stupid and embarrassing but he was struggling to hold his energy. He kept calm though, he didn't want to make the spell backfire, he just had to focus and think of everything he could do. That was it, focus on homework and stay good. Axyen thought to himself.

A Charming Start
Addie had received @Axyen Dragonclaw’s owl. She had quickly got ready, almost forgetting her glasses, but grabbed them on her way out. She practically ran to the Charms classroom to meet up with Axyen.
She ran down the hallway, panting. She saw Axyen standing in front of the class waiting for her and she slowed down. She slowed to a walking pace and started to smile. She walked up to him.
“Good Morning!” She sang, “How are you doing this wonderful morning!”
As she waited for his reply she looked at the outside of the classroom, slightly peeking in. She could not wait to walk in.
I’m going to learn magic today! She shouted to herself in her head.
She couldn’t wait to use the wand she had gotten in Ollivanders.
Her wand was a 24,6 cm Aspen Wood and Dragon Heartstring. She had gone through loads of wands until she finally found the perfect one. She smiled at the thought of the memory. Her whole household family had been there.
She got out of her thoughts and looked over at Axyen. It looked as if he was in a trance, he was looking at the classroom. He looked deep in his thoughts and she didn’t want to interrupt.

Axyen jumped out of his thoughts, in a literal sense. "Woah-! I mean- Good morning, I'm excited to finally learn magic!" Axyen said. He peaked inside again. He dreamed of this for years. It was happening fast for him. But he was finally going to use his wand. Axyen was looking at his wand, then finally said, "Shall we get going for our first class?" He asked. He looked at his wand gripped in his hand, he was excited. He held it in an angle, and suddenly he was in Ollivanders, the wand that put a yellow glow around him. Now he was back at Hogwarts, in the front of Charms class. He didn't know how he kept himself from entering the class already. He decided they can finally enter the classroom.
Axyen kept the excitement in himself, he was screaming inside his head. He decided it would be best to put the wand back in his pocket for now, he didn't need it yet. He knew they would be learning a spell today, and he couldn't be more excited for it. He seemed to just light up at the thought of being inside the classroom, but he was able to wait this long, but now he didn't need to anymore.

Addie heard Axyen then say, “ Shall we get going for our first class”
She smiled and replied, “We shall!”
She hesitated as she entered the classroom. She needed to make sure everything was perfect. She straitened out her robes and tie. She pushed her glasses all the way up her nose and made sure her wand was in her pocket. The wand hit her hand and she was ready to go.
Wait! She thought, Remember what mother said!
Right after she had gotten her wand her mother had told her, “Addie dear, remember to always pull your hair back in Charms. We wouldn’t want to ruin your beautiful curls!”
Addie chuckled, her mother was so serious about her hair.
She snatched up her yellow and black Hufflepuff hair tie and quickly pulled her hair back. She pulled it back into a very messy yet pretty ponytail, she used to do pigtails, but little her had said, “Mummy I’m much too old for pigtails, even Charlotte says so.”
Back in those days Char was her favorite person in the world.
Addie snapped out of her thoughts, why was she holding herself back! She then confidently walked into the classroom with a huge smile on her face.

Axyen took the class seriously and paid close attention to every detail. He went as far as hastily write the details of the lesson and history of the spells to remember it by. He focused on everything. He wanted to get a good grade. The professor joked around at the start of class and some students did have outbursts here and there. But Axyen was able to remain focused on the class.
Now was the moment. He got his homework. He was excited to do his homework right now, the class was interesting, going over the mending charm and the feet-dancing charm. Axyen remained focused, especially learning how to cast Reparo. Axyen was nervous about the homework. His wand was shaking, he was so excited before. What if he can't do it? He needed to concentrate, he decided he would simply need to try with his mind clear of the goal. To fix this key-chain and make it dance. He held out his wand, ready to try, moving his wand in a circular-spiral-like motion. Axyen didn't finish the movement, but instead seemed to try and clear his mind. "Reh-pah-roh" Axyen told himself. He could do this, he moved his wand. It was time to complete these tasks.

Addie listened to every detail the professor had told them. She was determined to get the spells just right. She giggled at the fact that they were learning a Dancing Spell.
Addie remembered her sister telling her all about it, “We would play pranks jokes on each other. The first week everyone was casting it on everyone”
Addie was more excited about the Fixing Spell. She could just fix her glasses herself and never have to get new ones. That would save her money. She shrugged.
When she got her keychain she started to mouth the words before even touching her wand, which was laid out on the desk.
“Reh-par-roh.” She mouthed.
She tried to clear her mind, but it was hard. She had so much on her mind.
She then took a deep breath in and out, like her mother had told her. She tightened her ponytail cleared the hair out of her face and mouthed the words one last time.
She picked up her wand. It felt funny in her hand, she wasn’t yet used to the feeling. She shifted it about in her hand and grinned. She was actually at Hogwarts! Actually in Charms class!

Axyen was worried, this was like a test, one he was excited for, yet worried for at the same time. Axyen remembered everything that was on the line. He picked up his wand. "Re-rep-pa-ro" Axyen stuttered. He was glad he didn't do the wand movement, he didn't want to know what would happen to him if he did the wand movement. He practiced the word. "Repara. Replaro. Reparo." He practiced. This class was stressful, he didn't know how to do it, no. He felt himself tearing up, not yet. He can do magic. He just needed to focus.
Axyen was worried he couldn't do magic. He felt tears trying to fight their way through. He fought them back. Axyen remembered the rules. Concentration. He concentrated. Moved his wand in a spiral motion, saying nothing. He needed to practice. "Reparo.." Axyen said. He was worried. But he had to keep trying, he wouldn't give up. He would keep working hard in his classes, but that wouldn't happen if he couldn't do it here. He rubbed his eyes pretending his eye was slightly irritated(rubbing away the tears hastily.) And held out his wand, he moved his wand in a spiral motion, practicing how he saw fit. He kept doing it until he was happy with his progress.

(OOC Note: Sorry if this is annoying, but you keep adding a period when say Addie Richards. So I don’t get notification.)
Addie looked over at Axyen. He was rubbing his eyes like crazy.
“Umm, are you okay. I don’t think you should do that to your eye….” She said.
She remembered when River would constantly rub her eyes raw. It would end up giving her pink eye.
Addie shuttered at the thought of pink eye, it hurt, a lot.
Before Addie actually did the spell she practiced the wand motions with her wand. She was still getting used to the heaviness of the wand in her hand so it would flop about a little, but she clearly didn’t mind.
I can do this, I just need to clear my mind She thought.
“I’ve got this!” She muttered to herself aloud.
She hoped no one heard her cause they would probably laugh. She shook her head.
Clear your mind
For a few moments she took deep breaths to prepare herself. She watched the other first years do the magic. She looked at the wand motions and listened to pronunciation. She was clearly half concentrated and half not. She felt ready, but at the same time she didn’t.

"Yeah- Yeah, I'm good." Axyen said, who was looking at his broken keychain, mentally preparing himself. He held out his wand. This time, this time, Axyen felt nervous. No his mind needed to be clear and ready, he was practicing. He looked around the classroom, he saw some students succeed. He saw a bit blue lights as some keychains repaired. Axyen looked back to his keychain. He held out his wand and held his breath, he cleared his mind and finally said "Reparo." It was confident and firm, it was clear which he needed. Now he was confident to try.
He heard the candles burning, the students attempting to cast the spell. Now he was nervous again, no a clear mind. He looked at his wand, he got comfortable holding it and moving it. He looked at the professor. This made Axyen nervous, but he took this moment as a challenge. No more excuses. Everything felt louder, the kids' chattering, to the the keychains being fixed or even dancing. Axyen moved his wand in a spiral motion, but messed up slightly. Axyen sighed. He was going to try again.

Addie would look to her side and see Axyen sitting there trying and failing. He repeated this over and over again. This gave her a somewhat new confidence to do her best. She breathed in through her nose and breathed out from her mouth. She picked up her wand and pushed up her glasses. She was ready. At least she felt ready.
One last time she mouthed the word. She cleared her mind one last time.
She grinned and then her face went into concentration mode.
“Reparo!” She said moving her wand in a spiral motion.
She had failed, but this didn’t stop her from trying again.
