A Long Ride to Hogwarts
===To muggles who are unfamiliar with magic, passing through a wall might sound insane. Morgan, a confident woman, was nervous of passing through a wall. What if she gets stuck? What if no one stepped in to help her? Her thoughts are consumed by terror.“Are you afraid, ma'am?”“NO!”===Afraid? No way, the Kingsleys are fearless. Fear is a great insult to their founding fathers. So, she tried her best not to be afraid and looked like a weak person. His butler demonstrated how to pass through a wall to his master. Morgan ran against a wall, closing her eyes. She hoped it was the magical wall. If it's not, she'll have a huge bruise on her forehead.“Congrats, ma'am.”===She loves praises. Her father often lavishes her with flattery.“Are you certain that they won't show up?”===Morgan would like to have her parents to accompany her to the station, however they are attending a magic conference in September.“Yes, ma'am”===She is very upset. They always prioritize their work. Have they ever thought of their daughter? Except for compliments and presents, Morgan wants to spend time with them, do broomstick practice, and play quidditch. That is all she wishes for.
===Morgan waved her goodbyes to her butler. It will be a long time before she sees him and her parents again. Ten months? 10 months with no interaction with her parents? One month is enough for her, but ten months? She simply hoped she'd be allowed to leave the station, visit the Ministry of Magic, and embrace her parents.
===Morgan entered the long train, looking for an unoccupied cabin. Some cabins are full, some are not.“For God's sake, where are empty cabins?!”“Finally!” Thankfully, she found one.===She sat, lay, and jumped down. She can do anything she wants with the vacant cabin. When she was exhausted, she unpacked her luggage and flipped through a book titled The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection. This was purchased by her and her butler in a crowded Diagon Alley. She isn't looking forward to attending Hogwarts, but she is looking forward to discovering spells, potions, and everything else about wizardry. She then resumed her reading..

A Long Ride to Hogwarts

With a loud crack, Harmonia and her house elf, Zeekay, apparated into platform 9 3/4. Harmonia swayed a bit, before steadying herself, she hates apparating. Yet again she was starting a school year without her parents, busy at the ministry.
"Goodbye Zeekay, tell Mother and Father I love them." she said, trying not to show how upset she was by the absence of her parents. Goodbye Miss Melodius, you know your parents wish to be here but..." the female elf trailed off, no reason to state what they both know.
Zeekay had disapparate away leaving the second alone. She made her way on the train, most of her things are with the luggage, while she carried a bag with the things she uses the most and her violin case. She made her way through the train skipping over the full compartments or once with much older student, doubting they would want to sit with a second year.
In the end she found one with what looks like one person inside. Unlike last year she going to try not to make a fool of herself in front of the first people she sees. She gently knock on the door, before opening it. "Excuse me for intruding, is it alright if I sit with you."

===Because it is nearly 11 a.m., the train is absolutely crowded with students, and it will leave shortly. Morgan placed the book down after learning about several dark creatures, their behavior, appearances, and where to find them. She had second thoughts about looking for an empty cabin because she didn't have anyone she could talk to or listen to. Morgan grabbed another book to flick through since she was bored. Before she began reading the first page, she heard a knock. She turned her attention away from the book and looked up where the sound came from.
===There was a girl standing in front of the cabin with her luggage and a violin behind her. She has short hair and is petite in size. Morgan, on the other hand, is taller. She stood to welcome her, but her emerald eyes left her speechless. Morgan enjoys playing with dolls. This girl may resemble a doll, but it does not guarantee that she plans to manipulate or play with her.. right?
===“Definitely” She returned back to her place and placed the book that she had intended to read earlier back in her luggage and turned her attention to the girl who seemed older than her.“My name is Morgan. And you are?”

A Long Ride to Hogwarts
It was easy for me to walk through the wall because I did it each year by accompanying my siblings. Me and my family arrived just on time on the platform. A few minutes later, I would have seen the train leave without me and my brothers. There is no more time for tearful goodbyes, but I didn't care. I was so excited about the new adventure that is coming. I heard so many stories about Hogwarts. I briefly kissed my parents and my older sister who graduated in June and jumped in the train before the doors closed.
In the Hogwarts Express, students were everywhere, shouting and laughing. I let my brothers join their friends and stood between two cars. Completely lost in this mess, I wasn't sure what was expected to do. But first, I must find a place to sit. All the compartments I passed through were full of students. Sometimes I came across one with empty seats, but the students occupying it were much older than I. I didn't dare to ask them if I can join, so I keep walking. I finally found a compartment with only two girls who seemed to be her age. One of them stood on the doorstep. I asked:
- May I sit with you?
Waiting for an answer, I was waiting on the doorstep with the other one. I started to be tired of looking for a place to stay.

A Long Ride to Hogwarts
===Morgan attends Hogwarts because she'd like to learn new things such as potions, spells, history, and ways to defend herself through dark arts. In addition, she also wants to make new friends. Isn't it boring if she's lonely for a whole year at Hogwarts? She only has a few friends from her pre-school since she's very picky. Morgan read a book about Hogwarts's houses, and one that caught her interest was Ravenclaw, because most of the students in that house are intelligent. She has very high standards when it comes to making friends. She doesn't want to end up with a circle of friends who don't care about their future and their grades. Who would want that?
===Someone approached Morgan as she was talking to the girl waiting in front of the compartment, and it seemed that Morgan and the person approaching her were the same age.
====“Uhm, since the door is open, I guess you already heard my name.. or not? I'm Kingsley, Morgan Kingsley.” She offered her hand to the young lady. Don't worry, her hands are completely clean. Her belongings, clothing, and everything else are clean because she maintains proper hygiene.
“Of course, you're welcome to join me.” She waited for the two of them to join her.

"Pleasure to meet you, My name is Harmonia Melodius, second year Ravenclaw. I think your Parents might have visited mine." She introduced herself before a second girl arrived. She turned her attention to the new girl.
She had asked to join the compartment with them, which Morgan had already agreed to. "Of course, I'm guessing both of you are first years?" she asked shaking hands with Morgan before she stepped in and put her luggage and violin case above the seats. She took one of the benches and sat down.
"What houses do you think you will be placed in?" She asked, right now she doesn't know them enough to speculate which house. "Though don't worry about it too much, all the houses have there merits." Each house had it's fair share of good and bad wizards, though only one house was, for the the longest time, was thought to breed dark wizards.
"Also what classes are you excited for, my favorite classes are charms and potions." she asked, checking something in her bag before looking back. "Glad to be back to Hogwarts, can actually practice spells and brew potions" she continued, it had nothing to do with the Trace, no her mother didn't like her brewing at home.

A Long Ride to Hogwarts
I was delighted that the girl introducing herself as Morgan agreed to let me in. It saved me from having to keep running around in the cars. She was soon joined by the other girl named Harmonia. I took Morgan's hand and shook it slowly. I didn't want her to notice that I was overexcited about my first day at Hogwarts. I introduced myself while putting my bag above a seat.
- My name is Mya Clarke. Nice to meet you. I am in first year.
The second year quickly started a conversation about our potential houses. I didn't think about it until now. I sat in front of her.
- I don't know… Everything is fine to me. Most of my family members are Ravenclaws or Gryffindor.
I preferred not to ask myself too many questions about it because I did not want to be disappointed after my passage under the sorting hat. But it would be nice to follow my parents' path.
- I am excited for Herbology and flying classes. I am just happy to finally go to Hogwarts.
The two girls seemed very nice and kind. I was glad to spend the travel with them. It was like a new start, and I knew nobody in this new life. It was reassuring to know that I was not alone.

===A second year? with her? She thought that most second years or older don't sit with first years. Don't they have age categories or something?
====“It's also a pleasure to meet you, Miss Melodius. I should ask my parents if they have already met your family.” She doesn't mind sitting with a second year. Maybe she'd like to get some advice from her because she's been first year before.
====“Miss Clarke, it's a pleasure to meet you as well.” She greeted the young girl, and the both of them went to look for a seat. Morgan sat down next to the first year.
====“Oh, your parents were Hogwarts students? Woah.. My parents were from Beauxbatons and Drumstrang, so I'm not sure which house I'll be assigned to. But I'm fine in any house.” Yep, she may have studied the houses, but she's not sure which house she'll be assigned to. Maybe Sytherin? Hufflepuff? Ravenclaw like the second year? or Gryffindor? She doesn't mind, as long as she learns spells and potions. That's all that matters.
====“You love potions too? Oh me too! Uhm, I love how you can make a potion to change your appearance, like the.. polyjuice potion? I'm not sure about the name, but sadly it's restricted, so.. OH and I also love DADA class and flying!” Morgan has a lot to say regarding potions and spells. After all, she wishes to learn.
She searched her luggage to grab something.====“Do you want something? I packed some muggle snacks to eat. Oh and just let me know if you're thirsty or would like some sweets because you're feeling dizzy.” She offered them some snacks because it would be a long travel and they could be hungry

"Both of my parents went to Hogwarts as well, mother was a Ravenclaw and father was in Slytherin." she said shifting back to sitting properly, yet again her mother's words come to mind, 'you must act as a lady of your standing.'
" I like herbology a lot of potion ingredients are plants so learning how to find them, what you can grow yourself, and other uses. DADA is brilliant as well, Dark creatures are interesting and spells to combat them and dark wizards. As for flying, I don't really like flying." Luckily for Harmonia, only first years have to take flying lesson.
"I wasn't looking for food, just checking on the ingredients I bought in Diagon Alley." she shook her head and pulled them out. "Lethe river water, leeches, bat spleens, and eel eyes." she listed as she held the bottles up, not needing to explain which is which.
Her nose wrinkled a bit. "I'm not a fan of handling animal parts though, expecially slimy one." Such as eel eyes, leeches, and bat spleens. "Though I am interested in muggles, my parent only ever told me they weren't supposed to know about us. What are their snacks like?"

Miss Clarke? It sounded weird. Nobody called me "Miss".
- You can call me Mya. I said to Morgan. I don't have any foreign origins, my whole family is British. It must be cool.
I hoped she would do so. I didn't like being called "Miss Clarke" because it seemed too serious. I didn't know if I had to call her "Miss Kingsley" as she called everybody "Miss". So I decided not to pronounce a name so as not to make mistakes. I turned my eyes to Harmonia.
- I don't know what to expect from the other courses. I can't wait to discover that. Maybe my favorite course will change at the end of the year.
I stared at the girls both looking into their bags. I didn't know what they were searching until one of them proposed Muggle candies. I accepted it gratefully. I only had a sandwich and a bottle of water for the trip. As I don't know Muggle snacks, I am happy to be able to taste it.
- What is this ? I asked.
Then, I saw the Harmonia's ingredients and I winced. I hoped that these animals did not suffer. I suddenly lost my appetite for a minute.
