Make a Wish... Closed

Alex stood there a bit shocked that she found another person out there. Her chest tightened a bit when she saw that the person realized she was there. She was never good with new people. She pulled a bit of her black hair out of her face “Uhm...,H-Hello” a small voice stuttered out. She glanced around nervously stepping back a bit her hands clenched together as she looked down at her feet. She pulled at her black and yellow robes he pale skin shining under the bright moonlight. She hadn’t really talked to anyone yet nor had she tried to as it was kinda scary to meet people for the small girl. “I’m Alex...” she stated her eyes finally glancing up at the other person before quickly looking back down again. She also missed her friends back home the ones that she’d play with almost everyday. And now she’s around all these new faces and older people as well. And being forced to make new friends wasn’t a piece of cake for any child especially after having a deep bond with their previous friends. But, there was still hope that this small, shy, introverted girl could possibly make new friends. 

To my surprise, a human stood  near the door. She pulled a bit of her black hair out of her face “Uhm...,H-Hello”. 
like I said, I was quite surprised that someone else would seek out of there common rooms and come to the astronomy tower like me. I quickly take a few notes on the girl. Black hair, Wearing yellow so I'm guess she's a Hufflepuff like me, she stuttered so I'm guessing she's shy, and small. 
She spook once more saying 
“I’m Alex...” she finally looked into my blue eyes, before quickly looking back down again. I thought for a second then said, 
"Hello," 
"My names Lewis,"
"your a Hufflepuff like me, right?" I walk towards her too make sure that I could hear because of her shy tone. 
" Nice to meet you!"

She smiled slightly “Yeah..! I’m a Hufflepuff” she said quite happy that the person was kind. She took a small breath before asking “What year are you?, I’m a first year” watching as they stepped forward. “It’s nice to meet you Lewis!” She said to them. She thought for a moment before looking at the stars. “So you like Astronomy?” She asked walking forward. There was no way she was going to miss this chance on making a new friend. After all she had been avoiding people all day and of course that was the reason she came here to try to get away from crowds of people. She didn’t mind Astronomy but definitely would prefer Potions or Transfiguration. She wondered if she’d be able to find more people out of the blue like this and maybe just maybe she could make new friends. She looked at her hands a wand firmly tucked between her palm. She looked over her wand “What do you think of this place, I think it’s crazy! There’s talking paintings, ghosts... moving staircases” she giggled at the last part. A smile ghosted her face and she traced the designs on her wand “This place is something I probably would’ve dreamed of when I was like four, yet here it is and now I’m going to school here” she said looking at them. “What do you think of Hogwarts?” She asked trying her best to keep up the conversation. 

She smiled slightly “Yeah..! I’m a Hufflepuff” I could tell she was quite happy. She kind of reminds me of myself, shy round new people yet I'm loud and annoying around people you know.  she end up blasting me with questions while I spaced out, but I manged to remember it all despite my terrible memory .

"ya, I'm a First year too," I stopped one second to think,"I've always had this strong connection to the stars that I couldn't explain, so I've been studying it too figure it out, but I haven't had any luck,"

I stare at the stars and the glowing bright moon once more. looking back at Alex I ask her a question, 

"before I become your friend you need to answer a questions for me, with the best of your ability,"
"what are stars?"

She was surprised when they asked her a question like that. “Well if you mean what they are scientifically, I learned a while back in my old school and from some of my older friends back home that they are compacted balls of different gases?” She said thinking hard about their question. “But if you are asking what stars are to me...” she thought for a good moment. “Well I believe that stars are like a sign of life and happiness persay” She said trying to make sense out of her answer. “They are just there bright and shining almost as if they are happy, and when you see stars there’s millions of them up there all there soon to burn out.” She said to them. “Like How people go through life, there for different time period none being the same, then only to ‘Die’ for more to take its place like a new generation almost!” She said with with a small sigh. Such a simple question yet, so complicated at the same time. “Some people may see stars differently than others but I guess they can be whatever you’d like them to be..., it’s all depending on your own point of view.” She said to them.

well, she answered the question quite carefully. (And i think i'm saying the word well too much). She also did mention the the stars meant something to her in some way. 
"you have a very interesting view on stars,"......
"I think this could lead to a long lasting friendship, Alex!" I look at her bright eyed, excited to make a to maybe make a new friend. 
"friends?" I question.............

She smiled happily “I’m glad my answer was interesting!” She said with a small laugh. “I’m pretty sure that was just the childish side of me taking over!” She said to them. “Friends.” She confirmed with a big smile. “Hopefully they friendship will last! It can get a bit lonely around here after all!” She said to them. “I’m glad I stopped by here after all!” She was definitely cheerful about making her first friend. She thought a bit, if they were in the same house then maybe they would be given the chance to grow close to each other, maybe even study together and hangout after classes! She was bursting with joy her hands running through her black shoulder length hair. 

(Ooc: Okay so there is literally nothing else I can think of to put for this post. School has been wearing me out and I try to write a lot but sometimes I can’t. I was tired and forgot about the whole 200 word rule. I try my best to put in effort towards my roleplays everywhere. This is the only post that isn’t 200 words so I’m hoping this explanation can make up for the amount of missing words.) 

"I'm kind of glad that both of us are Hufflepuff," 
Even though  Lewis has been at Hogwarts for the longest time she still can't quite find where her room is. (sad face).
"I've haven't found my room yet I wonder if were in the same room,"  even though I didn't show it, I'm quite excited inside to finally also find a friend. Usually Lewis would be yelling or annoying a bunch of people at her muggle school, but since she hasn't had a lot of friends here  she  acts
 quieter and calmer.
