Crash And Burn
The young first year decided a good idea to get exercise is to literally run everywhere. which means running in the halls. Kendra was excited to be here and to explore places. her excitement getting the best and bumping into a lot of things. the girl had run into a lot of things in her life. walls, trouble, relationships, parties, etc etc. but one thing Kendra has done the most.. is run into people
that's where you come in.
you are just an innocent bystander. when suddenly
CRASH
a first year Ravenclaw by the name of Kendra Yanagi no ki had bumped into you. hard. she had fallen on the floor, along with her books. "Augh..My head.." she rubbed her head and groaned. then Kendra shook her head and stood up. "Welp! time to get back to running-" Kendra had realized she ran right into a person.
"Oh my god! i'm so sorry! i didn't mean to! it was an accident really! are you hurt? do i need to take you to the infirmary?" her rambling seemed nonstop. but it was just her concerned. once she figures out you are okay. Kendra reverts back to her own self. but for now she has to make sure she hasn't accidentally given brain damage to another student. "i really hope you are okay.."

Arcues had just been standing there when this girl walked into him and he fell onto the floor. "Oh.. sorry! I didn't see you are you all right?" He looked at her "I'm really fine are you ok? That was a pretty loud fall he smiled "I've seen you walking around but never introduced myself my name is Arceus, Arceus Powers. I'm in Hufflepuff... well I don't need to go to the infirmary you probably hurt more than I did" He slowly got up rubbing his back and put his hand out to help her up
He put his hand out to shake hers "Whats your name?" He grinned at her I've been at this school quite a while but I love this room well, I love looking at the paintings" He waves at a painting which waves back "They all have been here for a long time too like that one.." He points at a painting of a man "..he said that he's been here for over 100 years!" I sound don't I? He thinks and stops talking. "Well.. I should probably get going I don't know what I'm doing any way, I just felt like a short walk to just contemplate things."

Kendra stood up quickly, reaching out a hand to help the young boy "Sorry! Im Such a clutz! I run everrywhere! it's a habit." Her voice shrill with joy, thank god she didn't hurt the poor student. "My name is Kendra! Kendra Yanagi no ki! Im from Ravenclaw! But they usually just say Kendra Yanagi in letters...Anyways! it's nice to meet you!" She shook the hand happily, her grip strong. must be from all the books she lifts. When the other student had announced his departure, she panicked. She just met him! Kendra wanted to know more! "Uh...Wait! Can i walk with you? let's talk more! you seem like a really interesting person! and i need to learn to slow down anyways. Where are you from? What are your parents like? Did you have a pet? what's your favorite flower?" the questions continued endlessly while she walked alongside the hufflepuff. she was short for her age, the height difference very prominent. but did Kendra really care?

Arceus smiled at her, she seems really nice.. I also feel like she could use a friend.. like me.. he thought to himself while listening to her talk "Your name is really cool! Well mine is kind of weird and yeah, you can come along.. I don't really know where to go though I was just aimlessly walking around I guess" He grins when she starts asking him all those questions. "Well.. I'm from Brighton I grew up there and I love the sea, my parents are really nice actually my dads a wizard my mums a muggle.. but I love them, yeah I did have a pet.. a cat her name is Snowflake she's 5 now she has a white pelt, green eyes and she's really cute.. and my favorite flower are probably Lily's" He says quickly letting out a breath at the end when he was done. He had to look down while talking to her but didn't care he kept grinning and smiling like she had a bubble of happiness around her. He didn't even realize he had started walking until he was half way out of the hall and he stopped in his tracks. "Fist bump?" He asks putting his fist out.

Kendra had practically Burst with excitement. This boy actually answered her questions instead of telling her to shut up like others do. Whoa he's so nice! and handsome! Wait kendra don't say that! that's stupid!! Kendra had an ongoing war inside her head. but on the outside she was happy and excitable. "Wow! You're really nice! You didn't tell me to shut up when i asked questions! That's awesome!" The smaller girl bounced around. practically running around Arceus in circles. Jesus the girl had so much energy and she doesn't know what to do with it. "I guess i should answer the questions myself then! My birthplace was Tokyo Japan but my parents moved me back to London when i was 5! My parents are both muggles. My mom was totally okay with me being a witch when my Aunty Hinata told them! My dad...he was always really mean when it came to big things..When my Aunty Hinata told him, He freaked out and started Hitting Aunty..." Kendra stood there reminiscing on the cold and dark memory. Then as if nothing happend she shook her head and went back to smiling. "Anyways! i have a Kitty too! her name is Willow and she's all black with 2 really green eyes! She helped me run away from my dad! MY favorite flowers are Snapdragons! their so pretty!!" Kendra smiled widely. She stopped in her tracks as soon as her new friend did. Kendra was confused by a fist bump. but tried it anyways. she closed her fist and bumped it. afterwords her face practically lit up. "Wow that's so cool where did you learn that?!"

Cory watched the exchange between the two students with a ghost of a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. Their interaction flowed well and they seemed to converse quite easily, something she could only dream of achieving. Wringing her hands before her, she shifted her weight from foot to foot.
"Maybe i should approach them?" She considered it, lips pursed in thought as she continued to listen in to their conversation.
"He freaked out and started Hitting Aunty..."
A flicker of concern flashed in Cory's eyes as the girl spoke. Her words denied the chipper tone she spoke in. Cory sighed, eyebrows furrowed in deep thought as she watched the two touch knuckles.
"Hello there!" She greeted them, though a bit timid she still wanted to somehow make friends in this new environment. She continued to fidget with her hands but forced a crooked smile. "I'm Cory, a first year and a Gryffindor". She resorted to simply clasping her hands behind her back as to hide her bad habit. She gave them a curt nod in greeting. "Aah.. I hope I'm not interrupting anything here. I-I can leave if you want!" A dry chuckle escaped her lips as she glanced from her shoes to the two faces.

Kendra had just finished fist bumping the other boy she was with. Kendra has heard a smaller, more quiet voice behind her. Who could that be? She turned around and saw a girl. Her eyes sparkled. New friends for her! "Hiya! Im Kendra! a first year Ravenclaw! nice to meet you!" She smiled and gave the other a reassuring smile. "Of course you can join us! we just started talking anyways! you seem super nice!" Kendra bounced on the balls of her heels. trying not to basically burst with energy. "Cory is such a pretty name! i wish i had that! ugh i wish i had a different name!" Kendra sighed and stood straighter. "It's okay though because i like my name!" She smiled again. wow Kendra smiles a lot.. "so where are you from? do you like candy? how is gryffindor? is it fancy? what is there to do here? Do you have any pets? what's your favorite color? do you like flowers?" Kendra didn't seem to mind a new person joining it just gave her more reasons to talk a lot.

"Kendra? That's a nice name too." Cory couldn't help but a slip a small smile onto her face. This girl's chipper attitude was pretty contagious. However, she wasn't prepared for the shower of questions suddenly plummeting her way and forced out a sheepish laugh. "Ah.. well my mother was a pure-blood and lived in London with my father who was muggle-born and from a city called Daegu. That's in Korea. Uh.. so I'm half Korean and a half-blood." She grinned bashfully. Wait, there were more questions weren't there? "I have quite the sweet tooth and I don't know... I have a dog named Podo, he was cute.. I don't have a favorite color and my favorite flowers are Tulips. Does that answer your questions?" She shifted the weight on her feet, musing over the questions she asked. Did I answer them all? She nodded to herself, slightly proud that she was able to remember them all. She picked awkwardly at her sleeves, awaiting Kendra's response. She sent a quick glance to the male student she had previously been conversing with and pursed her lips, raising a brow in question before focusing her attention back on the chipper girl before her.
