Henry enjoyed time to himself especially when he had a lot on his mind and so far a lot has happened to the boy. So it felt good to take a few moments by himself and walk along the great lake lost in his thoughts with his orange feline; Loki by his side.

I should go to the library later, I haven't been there in around 3 days and there's a couple books I have been dying to read... maybe I should see if Logan wants to grow our dueling practice group? Rose might want to come and perhaps Logan's partner... maybe a few other duelers to? Or perhaps from a study group in the library... a proper one at best instead of the one I have where we don't interact but somehow sit at the same table... bloody awkward really...

The twelve year old continued his slow pace with his young orange cat by his side walking the same pace.

Did I finished the homework for class? I did.. earlier right maybe I could convince the care of magical creatures professor to let me the class now... or not... maybe meet with Rose later? Good thing nothing is awkward between us with our parents engagement... maybe I could practice for the frog choir or dueling.... or... who is that?

Stopping in his tracks at the student and looking at the lake where a boy with red hair stood and looked like they were catching something. The boy had a slytherin scarf but Henry didn't remember seeing him in the common room and his scent was unfamiliar

not to mention he looked to old to be a first year.

Henry started to walk by the boy with Loki by his side however when the he was right behind the boy, Loki would give off a loud meow as if to get the mysterious boy's attention before sitting down. Henry would stop in his tracks and turn to look at his cat before turning and looking at the boy while he spoke " uh, sorry about my cat. What are you catching if you don't mind me asking? Frogs, fish, or something else?"

As Jay looked for more frogs someone approached, Jay looked up and turned their head to look who it was. The first thing that caught their eye was the orange cat that meowed, their eyes went wide, a cat... Cats are surely helpful with catching things? Like frogs... Jay shook their head, this cat could kill the frogs, "That wont do..." they muttered completely forgetting about the other student.

Jay diverted their attention back to him, they blinked at him as if they didn’t understand what he said.

“I um uhh…”

They had completely forgotten how to talk to people like normal human beings, “Frogs, yeah I’m catching frogs! Wanna help? MynameisJay,JayVictoriaPleasedToMeetYou,” they said rather quickly, then suddenly jumping to another spot in the shallow water, attempting to catch another frog. Once they failed, Jay looked up at him with a mischievous smile,

“Care to help mister?” they asked him.

Catching frogs was a great way to start conversations, though Jay wouldn’t exactly know that since they have very little interactions with people. It was merely an assumption. The other person was wearing an outfit that seemed more suited for frog catching, Jay was wearing their usual uniform of a turtleneck and uniform pants along with their winter coat.

Jay was bored and hoped that he wouldn’t be weirded out by their actions, they would most certainly would not want to be deemed as childish; as for the label ‘weird’ is something they are already used to. Jay then turned their head back to the water and spotted a frog sitting on a rock between some water grass. With their best attempt yet, the red head leaped out to grab it and success! With much hustle, they quickly went to their bag that laid on the grass and shoved the frog inside and closed it back.

They took a deep breath and fell onto the grass as if they just completed a very had task such as disarming a bomb. The student looked up at him, “Did you see that?! I am the most fantastic frog catcher at this school,” they boasted.

Henry was used to awkwardness rambling or stuttering being the victim of it so many times himself beside constantly dealing with his anxiety that was ever looming so as Henry listened to the red headed dressed in a black turtleneck with black pants and what appeared to be a winter coat stumble over their words almost before rambling, Henry just looked at them as he struggled with a response with the only things coming out, " uh, hi- uh," unsure what to say as he looked down at his the handy me down jeans and long sleeve gray shirt he was wearing along with his faded greenish jacket trying to concentrate on what they have just said.

I'm pretty sure they said their name was Jay... uhhh... Jay... Jay something with a V... Vick? Vicky? Vision? Vickson? Victor? Victoria? Wait that's it... Jay Victoria and they mentioned catching frogs... I like creatures and animals but I'm also bloody well awful at small talk and making friends and chatting and hanging out and awkward and anxious from my anxiety... should I just leave or... uh..

Hearing Jay Victoria speak again, Henry looked into the water and was edging himself to go since it seemed fun but was still worrying about his increasing anxiety as he spoke " sure, I can help," the twelve year old would take off his faded greenish jacket and laid it on the shore making sure his wand was tucked safely inside before rolling up his jeans to just above his knees and wandering into the water which was icy cold to the touch.

" I'm Henry, Henry Knight and that," the boy would wave toward his cat before continuing, " is Loki, it's nice to meet you Jay," a quick smile before the boy eyed the water around him looking for a frog to catch.

Unintentionally placing his hand on his chest where hidden underneath his shirt laid a sun rusted pendant from his mum and a fox necklace from his best friend; Logan Baird both things put of sight from Jay Victoria as they touched his bare skin understand his shirt.

Looking for a frog still when he noticed Jay almost stalk one and catch it before putting it away in his bag and comment about it causing a grin from Henry as he spoke as a joke " most fantastic? Well that might change," his comment was a joke as Henry eyed a frog and bended his knees a bit before biting the edge of his lip and slowly cutting through the water before making a quick jump and landing his hands on the frog.

Henry didn't care if someone looked over and saw him, others already saw him as either; weird, nerdy, anxious, quite, shy, awkward so the twelve year didn't care what others thought as he step out of the water and would pass the frog to Jay before plopping down on the grass beside them and looking out at the lake as he spoke " so since I helped, could I know what your going to do with them?"

Loki seemed to be feeling left out and not afraid of water, the feline stepped into a shallow potion of the lake so he can still walk and wasn't completely wet before eyeing a frog and stalking it, the orange feline then pounced on the frog but didn't kill since the cat seem to be almost against killing his prey as he pick it up by a leg and went to drop it off in Jay's lap before going to catch another causing a slight laugh from Henry.

Henry Knight he said his name was, Jay thought it was quite an interesting name. The red-haired student liked interesting names, and interesting, and to add on, interesting pets. He then proceeded to say the cat’s name was Loki, Jay’s eyes widened, they were catching frogs with a green knight and a god of mischief in the form of a cat, how could this evening get any better? A smile crept to their lips at these thoughts, they were starting to like these two a lot.

He then caught a frog and handed it to them, Jay proceeded to put it in their bag.

“Sounds like I might have frog catching competition heh,” they chuckled, looking at him. When they were eight, Jay always insisted that frog catching was a sport and that it was better than muggle Olympics, now, Jay Victoria cringes at the thought of that. Luckily, it wasn’t like they bothered Sir Victoria about it all the time and in the times they did he didn’t mind it at all. Instead, Sir Victoria would tell them stories about gigantic frogs that not even giants could catch, Jay never found out if these stories were real or not but for the sake of dreaming they just assumed they were real.

“I like to catch frogs for fun, but every great super villain has super villain plans! I might prank a person or two, and I, the great Jay Victoria the first declare you my partner in crime, as for your cat, Loki the sidekick,” they said in a bit too serious voice. The thirteen year old must of sounded very silly, but what else could they say to a green knight and a mischief god?

Just then, Jay looked at Loki who was about to catch a frog, the cat caught one and dropped it right oh their lap. Jay Victorias eyes widened, the frog wasn’t dead, what an amazing cat! Knight then laughed at this, their face turned a bit red and they quickly grabbed the frog before it would jump away.

“That’s a truly amazing cat, I have never met one that has ever caught frogs! How amazing!” they exclaimed before going back into the shallow water to catch more frogs.

The red haired student gazed at Loki in admiration, cats were great, ever since Jay moved into the Victoria manor they have asked Lady Angelique and Sir Victoria for one. Perhaps they would get one once they stopped spending their money on pranks and candy. Jay then proceeded to slip the frog into their bag along with the others. A mischievous grin took over their face as Knight asked who might be their unsuspecting victim.

“I was thinking of a prefect or two, we could sneak up on them and make frogs fly onto them. That would be bloody hilarious,” Jay laughed, “I think if we just walk around the castle we out to find a prefect or two, oh and that reminds me- which house are you in? I'm a Griffindor,” they asked. It would be better to label the Knights color based off his house rather than clothing. The Griffindor hasn’t had bad interactions with prefects, in the many times they got detentions, it was from getting caught by a professor. In fact, the nicest prefect they’ve ever met was a girl from Slytherin last year. Jay quickly pushed those thoughts aside and focused back on frogs and frog catching.

“I don’t have a pet, though I’m thinking of getting one sometime,” they replied as they caught another frog. Jay then went back to their bag and realized they had quite a bit of frogs now, “Hey we got so many frogs, this is great!”

Henry still stood in the knee level water peering down at frogs occasionally squinting to be able to see them clearly but not as noticable as the twelve year old looked when he heard the red head's voice.

A perfect? Why is it that I'm both excited and nervous but definitely inclined to that?

While his mind went to work, Henry nodded a bit toward the boy witu a slight smile on his face but before he could reply the student spoke the words the Henry hated.

Which house was he in? Henry hated saying that he was a slytherin and he hated more that some had prejudiced over the house leading to why the boy hated saying which house he was in.

Still curiously the second year wondered why the red head had a slytherin scarf but was in gryffindor as he spoke" I'm a slytherin- uh but levitating the frogs onto a unsuspecting prefect sounds bloody brilliant!" wondering which house prefect they would prank and also wondering if he should use the singing jinx as well.

"Any specific prefect in mind? Or just the first one we come across? I could cast the singing jinx as them as well if you like or on the frogs?" Henry had a grin on his face as he stepped out of the water followed by his ginger cat whom had another frog in his mouth.

Loki would drop the frog at Jay's feet before sitting down between the two students as Henry rather cautiously asked" if you don't mind me asking Jay, why do you have a slytherin scarf?" Deciding to not ask the other student if they could not prank a slytherin prefect since Henry wasn't in bad terms with any of them same for ravenclaw actually and majority of the prefects, it seems professors were the only ones that he gotten in trouble with.

Henry nodded at his comment at getting a pet as he replied" well I hope you get your pet soon then mate," with a slight smile toward the red head before a rather quick nod toward their comment about the frogs. They did have a lot didn't they.

Jay chuckled, he was a Slytherin, which meant that Green Knight still applied to him. Then, as he spoke about a singing jinx Jay gave a laugh, “Now we’re talking! Singing frogs frogs flying onto prefects sounds like harmony,” they said. Jay was quite glad he didn’t have a negative reaction to them being a Grifindor, a hand went to the old green scarf. It was Sir Victorias childhood scarf from when he attended Hogwarts. They were in third year yet they were still not accustomed to being a Griffindor, Jay feared the day Sir Victoria would come back and realize they were not the person he raised them to be.

They grabbed the frog, giving Loki a smile, then putting it into the bag.

“Well… having a scarf from another house can come in handy at times, and uh it’s my guardians old scarf, he was a Slytherin, and I kinda was supposed to be a Slytherin too…” Jay replied, looking down at the grass, they then got up and found their red scarf.

“If we get seen, I recommend wearing this so that the prefects don’t find out our real houses,”Jay said as they turned back to him and held out the noticeably not so worn out red scarf. Lady Anguelique had mailed it to them a while ago, and they would most definitely not care if it was given to someone else, especially for the sake of pranking and mischievousness.

“I hope so too,” they smiled. Jay was excited to finally be able to pull off some pranks with a partner in crime. It has been a while since they’ve had much fun with a person. Jay looked at Loki and then looked back at him,

“Shall we look for those prefects now?” they laughed.

Henry smiled at the red head, glad that they liked his idea about using the singing jinx as well as the levitating spell. Henry has being dying to use the singing jinx since he learned it and even through the boy was on the dueling team didn't mean his opportunity for casting the jinx came yet. So Henry assumed well hoped that he was the one that would be casting the singing jinx and Jay would cast the levitation charm.

Henry nodded toward his words with a small smile since he himself had his mum's old ravenclaw scarf and for the longest time and still would rather be in the house of knowledge as the twelve year spoke" having another house scarf lessons your chances of getting in trouble, that's bloody smart mate," smiling a bit at him before adding a moment later when Henry noticed the red head looking down in a odd way, " you seem like a mix of gryffindor and slytherin."

Henry smiled at the red scarf and carefully took it from the red head before wrapping it around his neck. Once the scarf was securely on, Henry looked over at Jay before speaking with a laugh " if we get caught then my name is Eyre Reeves, second year gryffindor," the slytherin knew Eyre briefly and the last time Henry interacted with the kid there was a rather rough fight and potions class.

Looking down at Loki who flick his tail a bit before staring back up at the two students with a almost shimmer of mischief in the felines eyes.

Henry hadn't pulled a prank since the start of his second year yet, yes he got in trouble but hadn't pulled a prank yet so the boy was excited as Henry spoke with a sly smirk" shall we go cause some mischief then?"
