Dating Back at The Start of The Year
Finally, Hogwarts was here, with a few bumps in the way Aldor was really here, he could not decide what was the best thing about this school, the amazing amount of space that the grounds had, the awfully comfortable common room, the lake, or this wonderful, magic and beautiful place, the library.
If there was something that Aldor enjoyed more than listening to heavy metal and planning on future tattoos, was reading, this activity has been a key part of Aldor's life. Before sleeping he would read, in his free time, he would read and whenever he could, you guessed it, he would read. This place had such a big collection of books that Aldor felt the need to read every single one he could take, this reminds him of when he lived in Ireland, he read every single book or manual in his house, even his dad's old TV's manual. Every single thing that was readable in that home, would be eventually read by Aldor.
This time, he has restrictions on where to go, and what books to take, but this did not bother him, here in the library, there was more than enough books for a lifetime, even with the restriction of the forbidden books, he was more than happy to have all of this books at his disposition, nothing could ruin this place, except for that promess that a young witch did, in what house would she end up in? She was not a Hufflepuff, he already saw all of the first year Hufflepuffs, there were still three more options, but wherever she was, Aldor just wishes to not stumble into her any time soon.

The first place that Millie had thought to explore was the library. She had always loved reading, but growing up in a house full of non-magic users, she had only read classic fairytales written by muggles.
Millie was excited to read books from the point of view of a witch or wizard.
She slowly looked through the aisles when she came upon the forbidden books. I wonder why these books are put on display since we're not allowed to read them, she thought to herself. She quickly left the aisle before she got interested in one of the titles.
Millie turned to the aisle and saw a section on magical creatures, and immediately ran up to it. She quickly noticed a book with a cute design on the spine. Millie was someone who loved all cute things, so it was no surprise that she was drawn to this book. She stroked the spine and pulled it out of the shelf gently. She carefully opened the book and flipped to the first page: "Abarimon," she read aloud. Millie had never heard of an Abarimon, but it immediately caught her interest.
She shut the book and turned to find a comfortable area to read. She figured that the Hogwarts library did since all of the libraries in the non-magical world did. Millie quickly found a cozy reading area and noticed a boy with ginger hair reading. She approached him.
"Um, is this seat taken?" she asked, pointing to the seat next to him.

The library somewhat reminded Natasha of her father's office. Just like home, there were endless aisles and themes one could explore to expand their knowledge. The only difference was that, while she wasn't allowed to touch any of the books in the Choi manor without an adult's supervision, at Hogwarts she was free to roam to her heart's content (aside from the restricted section). That, and the fact that the school's library was a hundred times bigger than what she was used to.
The girl walked around, enjoying the silence surrounding her. Although she looked like there was no purpose to her steps, she knew exactly what she was looking for. For a long time now, she was interested in the art of potion making. It was her mother's speciality, although the woman rarely practiced it anymore. So Natasha was curious, would she inherit her mother's natural talent when it came to potions? There was only one way to find out: she had to start studying, if she was indeed gifted, then it would surely show with time.
When Natasha found a book, namely about different types of snake poisons and their usage in potions, she started to look for a free seat. She rounded a corner, and came face to face with the studying area. Involuntary, her eyes were drawn to a ginger headed figure. Upon closer inspection, she recognised him as the boy she met in Diagon Alley.
Oh, the joy.
She eyed him for a while; a girl seemed to approach him. She, too, was looking for an empty seat, it seemed. When she was close enough, the sarcastic remark escaped her lips without her wanting too.
"Hufflepuff," she hissed, eying the boy up and down. "Why am I not surprised?"
The young witch then turned her attention to the other girl. She had a feeling that she was exactly like Aldor. Same status, same kind. "And another yellow clown. Let me guess. Muggle-born?"

Millie stepped back, stunned like she had been hit with a spell. She had no idea how to deal with people insulting her. This never happened back home, she realized painfully. Usually, whenever she met someone they would automatically like her. Millie suspected it was because of her aura, but she wasn't exactly sure. However, she was sure that she had never bewitched someone into liking her but the girl she was looking at looked like she was capable of doing so."And another yellow clown. Let me guess. Muggle-born?"
On top of all that, Millie wasn't even 100 percent sure if she should be insulted by this statement.
After all, there should be nothing wrong with being born into a family of non-magic users, right? Millie eventually came to the conclusion that it was meant to be insulting, but she still didn't understand why that would be used as an insult. A million thoughts raced through her mind, but, thanks to her quick mind, she quickly figured out what to say.
"Um, yes...I was born into a family of non-magic users," she said, then added. "Is there something wrong with that?"
Her heart raced, waiting for the other girl's response.

Aldor would instantly dart his eyes to this girl with an awful attitude, and then realized, it was HER, all of the fear he kept from this few days, just came back to him and slapped him in the face with all it's might. Aldor would simply take a deep breath and cross his arms, as he closed his book.
''I wasn't expecting you to be here-'' He would slowly stand up, pushing the seat back it in it's place.
''I see your promess applies to every single one of the students around you-'' He would play with his hair. ''I am sorry but- I can not really afford to lose time with you today- I already finished my tasks-''
He would yawn, as he putted his hands behind his back. ''But I am not willing to let my free time to read be poisoned by you- Right now, I am looking forward to inspect the books who are normally read by third years-'' He would chuckle quietly, as he took the book he was reading in his hands.
The boy would dart his eyes to the other Hufflepuff girl ''And about you- You may take the seat, but don't let this Slytherin bother you-''
His attitude seemed strangely calm, this was obvious to the Slytherin student, who already saw Aldor near his limit, but this time, his words sounded more like the words of that witch who had no fear to make it obvious that she did not care about anyone's opinion. Even a little bit like Natasha's words.
''Now if you excuse me- I will be heading to the Herbology section- ''
The boy would slowly turn arround, and began walking away, although he knew that if they wanted, they could catch up to him, he preffered not to think about it, after all, he will not let her ruin his happines, not anymore.

Millie was surprised by the calmness of the boy's voice, but she suspected that it was partly, if not completely, an act. However, she had no real way of knowing, and he had walked away before she had a chance to try finding out more.
Millie looked down at the book that she had picked out, suddenly not interested in it anymore. I guess I'll take it out to read later, thought to herself then realized that she just didn't want to seem like she'd let her guard down in front of this girl. Millie quickly, and sadly, realized that she had been too quick to judge her. Perhaps she was just having a rough day and needed to take it out on someone?
Maybe this is why the hat put me in Hufflepuff, she realized, and not Ravenclaw, or even Gryffindor. Hufflepuff did suit her the best though, and she was glad to be in the house that included everyone.
Millie took a good look at the other girl and found a burning passion and curiosity to discover what had made her lash out. She ignored the part of her brain warning her that the girl could just be mean and smiled at the girl.
"Hello! My name is Millie, and what's your name?" she asked brightly.

Natasha clicked her tongue in annoyance. It was only their second meeting, and this Aldor boy already knew how to get under her skin. His words irritated her beyond belief. Not expecting her to be in the library? What did he think she was, a little princess who thinks she does not need to study or seek knowledge? She was still young, with so much to learn; the girl couldn't help but feel like the young wizard was looking down on her.
She huffed. She wasn't like that with everyone. Take her childhood friend, Henry, for example. When she was with him, her attitude was completely different. But these people, these muggle-borns, somehow always managed to make her mood sour.
To waste his precious time on her, that was something he shouldn't have said. After their first encounter in Diagon Alley, the girl wanted nothing more to do with him. She even wished she could avoid him for the rest of her year at Hogwarts, but for some unknown reason, the moment she saw him, that resolution evaporated. Maybe it was in her blood; voicing her opinion and letting people know where they truly belong.
"Aish jinjja Ah, really… He's annoying." Natasha felt a strong urge to follow the boy, and just shake him really hard, maybe that way something would flicker in his mind, and he'd realise that he was undeniably inferior to her. It was strange, she was never one to resort to physical violence.
Did he even know her name!?
But she couldn't go after the Hufflepuff boy just yet; there was another yellow fellow she had to deal with first. Natasha's eyes snapped in the friendly witch's direction. Her gaze was sharp like a snake's, even her aura seemed to change a bit.
This muggle-born witch seemed a little less unbearable than Aldor, but this didn't change the facts. She was inferior to Natasha.
"Natasha Choi." The girl responded curtly. She made sure that her words and tone reflected her annoyance. "Do you want something from me? If not, I'd appreciate it if you never approached me in the future."

Millie wasn't expecting the girl to respond to her, but the response was just as crushing, if not more, as getting no reply at all. "Do you want something from me? If not, I'd appreciate it if you never approached me in the future"
No, of course not...what would I want from you? Millie wondered. Perhaps your friendship?
Millie's smile never wavered, even though she had taken offence from the girl, Natasha's, statement. Nothing like this had ever happened to her before. Most people appreciated her genuine kindness and repaid her with a genuine smile. But this girl was different. Perhaps she hadn't grown up in a warm household? Perhaps her childhood was filled with cold memories?
"I don't need anything from you," Millie stated, forcing her tone to stay friendly. She smiled at the witch, who was clearly annoyed to have to be in Millie's presence.
"I hope you have a good rest of the day, Natasha," she said with a smile. "And I won't bother you anymore."
Millie turned her back to the witch and took a seat, took out the book she was holding and pretended to read it. She's never going to like me, and we can never be friends, she thought to herself. And just because of the blood that flows through my veins...

Natasha gritted her teeth. There was a strange feeling in her gut, something wasn't quite right with this scenario. Usually when she showed her hard and cruel facade, people would react with hostility, surprise, anger, or even happiness and appreciation if they were pure-bloods. But this girl, Millie, didn't even flinch despite Natasha's annoyed attitude. She stayed friendly, as if unaffected. Could it be that it was only an act? It was possible. No one can be this friendly all the time despite the things people throw their way.
Natasha hesitated. She wanted to go after Aldor, "to sort things out", but it didn't seem right to just leave Millie behind like that. Maybe she was cruelly honest at times with a short temper, but her parents would be disappointed to see that she hurt someone, and left without another word. They might've raised her to be arrogant, but not heartless.
The girl sighed, turning towards the reading Hufflepuff.
"Look. Girl. I mean, Millie… I don't have anything against you as a person. I don't know you. Maybe for a muggle-born, you're quite decent, so don't take my words too seriously. But you see, our kinds are not compatible, we shouldn't interact. My ancestors would be deeply disappointed in me if they saw me with you right now. Pure-bloods and Muggle-borns should keep a distance between each other; we are part of two different worlds. We just don't mix. You can make friends with others of your status."
Natasha then tore her eyes away from the girl's form, and looked around the library, hoping to catch a glimpse of Aldor.
"But you see, I do have something personal against that boy. Disrespect is not something I take lightly… You did nothing of that sort, Millie, so you don't have to worry about me coming after you."
The young witch pulled the old potions book closer to her torso. "But little Aldor definitely has to be cautious from now on."
With another quick glance at the reading girl, Natasha took off towards the Herbology section of the library. She wasn't sure if Millie wanted to say something, or if she would go after her, so she kept going forward.
Ever since she set foot on the school grounds, she never apologised to anyone. She didn't have to apologize to the professors, and she definitely didn't want to say sorry to her peers. This was the closest thing to an apology she said to a fellow student since coming here, and it left a sour taste in Natasha's mouth.

The Hufflepuff boy would begin searching for a large amount of books, all of them from different autors, made for different grades. He would take the books between his arms as he began opening one of them, but before he could even finish the first page, he heard the little footsteps coming towards him, he knew what was about to happen, but he was clearly not willing to do this all over again,
''Should I stay or should I go-'' He would say under his breath, as he simply waited for the slytherin student to get there to do no more than destroying Aldor, but somehow he kept the same smile than before, so very calm, if someone tried to focus on said smile, they would feel the soothing power of keeping calm, even though a fiery inferno is running towards his way. He would let out a quiet sigh, as he turned to the side were she was coming from, tilting his head, like he was examinating her, just like she did in Diagon Alley.
Will tables turn at some point? Aldor would question every aspect of this sittuation, like he always did, but now, he is wiser, after the many mistakes he has done, he knows how to handle this a little bit better, although, the coldness in the way he acts, and all of the strange sassy attitude, it seemed like the Hufflepuff student turned into the stereotype Slytherin.
So he just stood there waiting, knowing the other Hufflepuff would not act.
