After Aurélie had gained back some balance but not any pride, she heard the boy ask politely if she was okay. "Yes, I am okay. I don't know what happened there, I suddenly felt everything coming at me, I felt like I could hear everyone at once..." Aurélie realised she might have mentioned too much and the boy would find it strange so quickly she added; "I guess I'm not used to such big crowds. Are you sure I didn't hurt you?" Aurélie wanted to be sure since she didn't always know her strength and could easily harm someone. A few moments later, the boy introduced himself as Henry and said: "I'm Henry, your eyes are stunning by the way... uh are from Hogwarts as well?" Aurélie was a bit flustered by Henry's compliment so it took her a few seconds before she answered with a blush on her cheeks; "Oh, thanks. Yeah, I am going to Hogwarts in september, it will be my first year. Are you attending too?" Aurélie couldn't hide her excitement about meeting a possible co-student. She hadn't met many people like her so it would be nice knowing a familiar face when she started at Hogwarts.

Henry's blue eyes stared at her as he smiled. A few moments after asking him about Hogwarts, she confessed; "I uhh- I like your eyes too. They remind me of that flower, what is it called again..." Aurélie only remembered the French name of the blue blossom. "It's 'Gloire du Matin' in French but I can't remember the English word for it." A slight frown appeared on her forehead but she quickly recalled that she hadn't told Henry her name yet. "Oh, it doesn't matter", she waved her hands to gesture and added; "I'm Aurélie, it's nice to meet you Henry". Stretching out her hand to shake his, in order to formally get acquianted, a grin appeared on her face. What a nice lad. I hope he is going to Hogwarts too so I'm not all alone on my first day. Perhaps I could ask him to show me around when school starts.

When Henry spoke about him being a Slytherin and mentioned a few other names Aurélie had never heard of, she frowned and asked him; "What do you mean by Slytherin? Is that like a school club or something?" Aurélie hoped she hadn't just asked the dumbest question in wizarding history but the lady from the Ministry ,who had come to inform her about the wizarding world and Hogwarts, hadn't told her much besides when school started and Summer Camp. Huh, if there are clubs at Hogwarts I might join one. Maybe they have a baking club.. "I'm sorry if that's a stupid question but I didn't get much information about Hogwarts. I didn't even know magic existed until a few weeks ago.", Aurélie confessed. When Henry asked her about where she lived and if she was French, she felt the need to tell him about her history a bit more. It could be a tad confusing otherwise so the girl told him, "Well, actually I'm originally from Somalia but my Nanna adopted me, she is French, and took me with her to Scotland where we live. I grew up in Scotland but I got used to speaking a bit French since my grandma does. I did hear about Beauxbatons and the school that our school is playing against today, Durmstrang right? I'm not familiar with everything yet. I grew up without magic even though that lady from the Ministry said I'm a pureblood. Apparently, pureblood is a good thing right?" Aurélie was surprised when Henry said he was going to his second year at Hogwarts. She had only met three people so far and all of them were second year students. Nevertheless, Aurélie liked hanging out with people a bit older than herself, she was quite mature for her age even though she was only short.

The line Henry was waiting in before she bumped into him, had started to move so Aurélie took a step forward and waited with him. She didn't particularly need anything but she didn't want to end their conversation either. "What food are you getting?", she curiously asked the boy as she looked around to find a menu for the snackvender. "If they sell hamburgers I might get one." Her senses tingled again from all the scents coming her way. Oh yeah, I can definitely smell burgers..

Silent as a mouse Aurélie listened to Henry explaining what purebloods, halfbloods and muggleborns were. “Okay, it’s just a genetic thing. It sounds cool that kids with two muggle parents can also have magic.” After a pause that let Henry catch a breath, he continued and told her about the four houses of Hogwarts. “Wow, so on my first day I’ll get sorted into a house, that’s exciting and… makes me a bit nervous.” Aurélie let out a soft chuckle and added “I can’t wait to see which house I’ll be in.”

It was Henry’s turn to order his food and after he received a pumpkin juice it was Aurélie’s turn. “One burger with chips please”,she politely told the vendor. It didn’t take long before she got her meal and joined Henry who waited for her a few steps further. “Im good with just a pumpkin juice, but a burger sounds good too. Your life or history sounds like an adventure or like should be a book, kind of.” While chewing on a mouthfull of burger she laughed when Henry said that and replied; “-Hmph- mhwou bhomp nmho phuh-“ She stopped mid-sentence realizing she was not understandable talking with her mouth full. She chewed and swallowed the rest of her bite and rephrased; “Sorry, I said you don’t know the half of it.” Aurélie grabbed a couple of chips from her paper plate and ate them. “Mmm, these are really good, do you want some?”, she held her plate out to Henry to offer him some chips. “How about you? Where are you from?” Aurélie started to walk in the direction of the stadium and gestured to the boy to walk with her. The girl may not have much knowledge about Quidditch yet but she didn’t want to miss the biggest game of the year.

Aurélie was glad Henry accepted her offer and walked alongside her back to the stadium. There was something about the Slytherin that appealed to Aurélie. She felt a connection to him but wasn't able yet to figure out what or why. The young girl felt a kind of tension between them but on the other hand he made her calmer than she had ever been with someone. Something about him sparked her interest and she hoped this wouldn’t be the last time she would see him.

Aurélie got pulled out of her thoughts when Henry spoke of his family and continued to ask her about her history. “It must be nice having two siblings, you’re probably rarely lonely?” Aurelié replied to Henry’s story about his twin sister and older brother. A curious feeling came over the young girl and she couldn’t help but ask; “Does Annabeth go to Hogwarts as well? If you don’t mind mah asking, I don’t mean to pry.”

The path towards the food tents got more crowded as the pair walked back to the arena. Having finished her burger and chips, Aurélie scanned her surroundings and located the nearest trash bin. She swiftly strayed of the path for a few seconds to throw away her empty plate and then joined Henry’s side again. When she reunited with him she gave him a soft smile and for a second they locked eyes. She tried to memorize the blue sea-like colour in her mind and then remembered what that certain flower was called she had talked about earlier. “Ah! Morning Glory!” Aurélie sighed in relief to finally get it right. “That’s the name of the flower I told you about. I really like those, heh”, Aurélie added excited and a little louder than she meant to, luckily the sound of the crowd buzzed so loud no one had noticed. Before she so rudely interrupted Henry he had asked her about her and her history so she continued; “Well, I live with my nan, she’s my adoptive guardian, but I don’t have any siblings. Which I don’t mind really.. All though I would have loved someone to spend my days with other than my grandmother I wasn’t lonely. I spent most my free time helping Nanna baking for her patisserie.” Aurélie hadn’t told Henry about the bakery yet so she filled him in; “My nan has a bakery in France and every summer we go there to run it for a couple of months. I wanted to help her this summer too but she thought it would be better if I joined the summer camp to get to know people before lessons start.”

Aurelié realised she hadn’t had many impressive stories to tell. Besides one of course.. But that wasn’t one she was ready to tell anyone. First, Aurélie wanted to see what Hogwarts was like and how the other kids were. She couldn’t imagine her being the only one with this kind of secret. Maybe one day, when she found someone she ought to be trustworthy, she could tell a friend so she wouldn’t have to go through her irregularity all alone. When Aurélie had finished her tale her face turned to a slightly more serious expression and she spoke in a very soft tone when she asked the boy; “Do you-, uhm, would you say Hogwarts is a safe school? I mean, if a student would have.. a problem.. would they be helped if they told the professors?” Aurélie had second thoughts immediately after saying it out loud but she couldn’t help but sense she could trust Henry. Not with everything straight away but she didn’t think he would spread the word if she asked him an odd question like that. At least she hoped he wouldn’t.
