New Friendships
Even though it was Wednesday, but it was after classes the girl was wearing comfortable clothes such as orange summer dresses with yellow flowers on it. Teresa also had yellow ballerinas on her feet.
Teresa's steps were leading from the entrance of Hogwarts castle to the Great Lake. It seemed the weather was nice although the sky seemed a little bit of a gray. But that didn't change Teresa's mood and her big toothy smile she was wearing on her face. The little Hufflepuff girl was slowly, but surely approaching the Great Lake. She was enjoying today's weather, the animals she could hear nearby the lake, and the Great Lake's flora. All of these things were really beautiful in Teresa's eyes. She hummed satisfied to herself and playing with the skirt of her dress.
The Hufflepuff girl was almost near the Great Lake, she picked few flowers along the way and took her shoes off to feel the soft grass of Spring under her feet. It seemed that Teresa danced along the way from the castle to the Great Lake.
Teresa finally arrived at the Lake and sat down on the shore. When she heard that someone was approaching her, she turned around and smiled. "Ah! I got your owl! The letter said you wanted to meet here. I'm Teresa by the way." She smiled at the girl standing behind her.

OOC: I'm so sorry this is so delayed! I will try my best to be on top of this role-play from now on!!!Rose was walking toward the Lake. She was wearing short Jean shorts and a thin, red t-shirt. She was also wearing red converse over black no-show socks.
Why was she walking toward the lake?
Well, Rose had been a little lonely lately. So, she had sent an owl to a random person to see if maybe they got along. That random person, Teresa Shadowmoon, actually, miraculously replied. And now she was here, at the Great Lake, willing to be friends with Rose, of all people. And there she was, approaching this random person. She took a deep breath, reminded herself to act socially acceptable, and stood next to Teresa.
"Hi Teresa," Rose replied in her soft, American voice. "I'm Rose. Rose Moon. It's nice to meet you. You have a beautiful name, by the way."
Rose walked forward and sat on her knees a foot and a half away from Teresa.
"So... How are you? You're a Hufflepuff, right?" Rose continued, trying to make conversation.Rose's first impression of Teresa was that she was kind, a little loud, and light-hearted, all of which were good things. Rose just hoped that Teresa didn't think she was being too shy or quiet.

Teresa lightly waved at Rose's greeting. "Shadowmoon. Nice to meet you too, Rose." Teresa replied and added her surname when she didn't do before, her thick rough german accent slipping out here and there. It was really noticeable accent when was Teresa speaking, Teresa was speaking well English but some german words slipped throughout her conversations, too. "Danke! Thank you very much, your is beautiful, too. Rose is my favorite flower, too." She smiled.
Teresa took her shoes and put them aside away from Rose, so she could have more space to sit. She sat properly again and pulled up her legs, putting her chin on her knees, leaning into them.
"I am doing quite well! How are you?" Then Teresa nodded, pushing a strand of hair behind her right ear. "Indeed, I am a Hufflepuff! Wait- Let me guess your house!" She said excitedly and clapped her hands. Teresa squints her eyes, examining Rose and rubbing her chin, well the chin that wasn't hidden in her knees. "Hm... a Gryffindor?!" She said/asked after a while of silently staring. "Did I got it right?!" Teresa indeed seemed like an excited puppy.
Teresa's impression of Rose was that Rose was kind, a little quiet, had few friends but was friendly. Teresa was sure decided to befriend Rose, sticking to her personality and house of befriending anyone and everyone.

"Thank you," Rose added as Teresa complimented her again on her name. "And I'm doing pretty well, thanks."
Teresa was basically jumping up and down, awaiting eagerly Rose's reply. Smiling to herself at Teresa's obvious and innocent excitement, Rose said, "Yes, in fact, I am a Gryffindor. How did you know?" Maybe it was just a lucky guess, but Rose didn't always seem to be a Gryffindor to everyone. Maybe Teresa had seen her in class. Rose definitely was not a Slytherin, not that she saw Slytherins as evil, but that she wasn't really cunning or ambitious. She may have been a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff, but she wasn't. She was, strangely, sorted into Gryffindor.
Rose tried to make small talk and get to know Teresa a little bit better, so she asked a random question. "So, I'm just curious; not that it matters, but what's your blood status?" Rose asked. She was just curious-it wasn't like she cared about blood status. "I'm a half-blood, myself," she added.
"So, who do you live with? Like, do you have any siblings? Do you live with your grandparents? What about your parents? Are they around?" she really was curious about Teresa, so she only asked her smaller, more vauge questions. The heavier, more meaningful and specific questions would come later in the conversation.

"Oh, you're welcome." Teresa gave Rose a big wide smile. Then she nodded.
Teresa shrugged, letting her legs fall straight down again and resting on her hands behind her back, she was looking forward. "I don't really know? Lucky guess? I saw you around the castle sometime, so that's maybe why." Teresa explained all the Gryffindor guessing still not looking away from the Lake.
"It's so beautiful today, don't you agree?" Sighing to herself, looking at Rose for the first time in a while with a question.
Teresa nods, maybe as in 'me too'. "Half-blood, mother is witch, father is muggle lawyer."
"I live with my parents, my father is rarely home as his job is a lawyer, he is a really successful lawyer. I do have siblings, a brother to be exact. He is in fifth grade - Ravenclaw. My mother is pure-blood and her parents didn't like that she married a muggle... so they rarely keep in contact with us..." Teresa chuckles under her breath. "My grandparents low-key hate us, me and my brother because we carry muggle blood..."
Teresa stops her monologue and slightly smiles at Rose and lightly rubs the back of her head. "But enough rambling about myself...What about you and your family?"

Lucky guess? Okay, then. Rose shrugged.
"It is such a beautiful day," Rose replied, looking watching the small ripples of the lake and how the fluffy, white clouds in the sky were reflected onto the watery surface. It was warm outside with a cool spring breeze, and the birds chattered in the trees behind them. It wasnt just beautiful: it was Rose's idea of perfect.
Breathing in the fresh spring air, Rose listened to Teresa's story about her family, nodding.
"My family?" she asked, taking a deep breath before saying, "I live with my mom and my four siblings. Two in front, two in back, making me the middle child of five children. My grandparents and pretty much my mom's whole side if the family lives in America and went to Illvermorny, and my dad's side of the family are all muggles who are scared of us because we're magic." She smiled a tiny bit in spite of herself, remembering. Whenever they had been with the Moons, they had all been terrified of them. It didn't help that her younger brother, Gabe, who was one or two at the time they were trying to get along, had a favorite word at the time: Abracadabra.

New Friendships
Lyra was walking, book in hand, to her favorite spot by the Lake. It was softly bathed it sunlight, with a Weeping Willow draping over a small extent of the Lake. This area was usually full of Murtlaps and other creatures, and it was interesting to study them and play with them. Furthermore, the area was quite far from the castle, so few people went there. As she was headed in that direction, she spotted two girls talking and decided to make friends, as they were close to her destination anyway. As usual, Lyra’s hand was cupped around a small Bowtruckle, which she had named Oak. They were often together when Lyra wasn’t in class.
She turned to the girls and hurried there, waving and smiling at the both of them. “Hi, I’m Lyra, a Ravenclaw. I hope I’m not interrupting anything. I was just looking to meet new people around here.” She had seen both of them at the Great Hall but could only recall that one was on Gryffindor and the other was in Hufflepuff. However, she didn’t remember which girl belonged where. Lyra chose to let the girls introduce themselves instead of saying ‘I don’t remember which of you is where’, because she thought it would be more polite.

Rose turned around to face the girl that had approached them. Lyra, she said her name was. Rose smiled, answering and introducing herself, "Oh, hi, Lyra. I'm Rose. Rose Moon. Nice to meet you."
Lyra was apparently Ravenclaw. The only Ravenclaw Rose had met was her older brother. Curious to meet her, Rose patted the spot next to her, to her right. Teresa was currently sitting next to Rose on Rose's left, so there was plenty of room in the grass on Rose's right. "Would you like to join us? There's plenty of room."
Rose didn't know if Teresa didn't want Lyra around, but if she didn't, Rose trusted her enough to tell her. She didn't see why Lyra being there would be a problem, but maybe Lyra and Teresa had already met and didn't like each other for some reason or if Teresa wanted this meeting to be a strictly one on one meeting.
On seeing the bowtruckle in Lyra's hand, Rose's emerald eyes lit up. "Is that a bowtruckle?" she asked excitedly. "Aw, it's so cute! Does it have a name?" Rose really liked magical creatures and geeked out every time she saw one. She really wanted to hold him or her in her hand and watch him watch her. Bowtruckles were adorable.

Lyra smiled at Rose when she introduced herself. She seemed like a really kind and friendly person, much like Lyra. "It's nice to meet you, Rose. And yeah I'll gladly join you guys, thank you for offering." She sat down next to Rose, glancing at Teresa to make sure she was okay with it. If she wasn't, she would have spoken up, and if she later asked Lyra to leave, of course the latter would do so, out of respect for their conversation. Rose seemed to be the Gryffindor in this conversation, just because she had the aura of one. Although, she had seen many other houses act like that, so it would be rude to assume so. Nevertheless, the girl had a sort of Gryffindor aura about her.
She chuckled when Rose spoke enthusiastically about the Bowtruckle, opening her palm to let Oak get a better view of his surroundings. "Yeah, that is a Bowtruckle. Officially it's not my pet, he just tends to play with me and I with him. He's also great company by the way. His name is Oak." She noticed the way Rose was looking hopefully at Oak and grinned. She looked at the Bowtruckle, seeming to ask him a question, and when the latter nodded she placed him gently in Rose's hand. "You seemed like you wanted to hold him. By the way, you're in Gryffindor, right?"

Teresa turned around curious as who to the voice belonged to. Seeing a girl approaching them and introducing herself. Teresa nodded her head and waved as well. "Ah, I am glad to meet new people. Lyra, I am Teresa, Teresa Shadowmoon!" She lightly pointed with her whole hand at the empty space next to Rose that Rose had referred to earlier. And turned for a few moments back at Rose. "Ah, I see our families are similar then, I can't still believe some muggles are still afraid of us." Teresa stated little bit sad.
Honestly, Teresa had noticed Lyra's book first then the Bowtruckle. "Aww, the Bowtruckle is so nice and the name fits him." Teresa then chuckles. "I couldn't notice, your book... what is it about?!" Teresa loved books, some considered her a bookworm - something people wouldn't assume about a Hufflepuff. "I don't like falling into conclusions, but are you a Ravenclaw? I never met another Ravenclaw other than my brother." She scratched the back of her head and quickly added. "If you're not, please, ignore my question! I don't wanna seem rude at our first meeting!" Teresa immediately started to apologize, she tented to be rude without even realizing.
