Girl's hideout Closed

Fay has entered a light wooden door and peeked inside. It seemed empty as only  a sound of water drops falling from the unclosed tap in the sink was to be heard. She silently entered and made sure to close the door behind her. The room was very cold, so cold that it made Fay shiver. At that moment she wished she would have learned some fire charms to be able to fill the empty candlesticks with warm heat.
She stepped towards the window and looked from it. It was fascinating to see the common grounds of the castle, at this moment she really realized the majesty of the Hogwarts. She looked at the floor, it seemed clean since it was sparkling. She sat down and took out the book to her Potions class.

She kept reading for a while about this fascinating class, probably the class she was the most looking forward to.  The time was passing and Fay was suddenly  forced to look from her book when the sun hit her directly into the face. She looked to the window that was now sparkling in the shades of red and orange. She put a book on the floor and lied down. Facing the warm rays of evening sun, she closed her eyes.

Caitlin pushed open the doors the see the girl laying on the floor. "That does not seem sanitary. You do know it is just charmed to look clean right?" She asked as she pulled out her wand and said a spell that reversed the illusion placed on the whole bathroom. "It is filthy in here." She made a sweeping motion with her wand and all the dirt, dust, and grime was swept into the corner of the room. "That's just nasty." She said as she put her wand away and offered a hand to the girl. "My name is Caitlin Jones, Gryffindor. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Fay raised her eyes as she noticed that someone entered the room. As soon as she heard about the mess, she quickly jumped out.
"Ewww, I did not know that!", she squeeked. She often forgot that the wizarding world is not the same one as the world outside there, despite her being half-blood. She looked into the mirror to groom her hair that were now messily flying around and quickly brushed the dust from her cloak.
She looked at the newcomer and smiled in hope she does not think her to be weird.
"I am sorry. I am Fay and I am the first year from Ravenclaw. Nice to meet you", she said smiling, trying to remember her face and name. The girl looked friendly and was the first girl she ever met from Gryffindor. Fay always wandered about the houses, she often questioned herself if the people sorted into them were really as they were described in the books she has read in the past. However, after her own sorting ceremony she realized that there is probably something more hidden in her, since she herself did not expect to end up in Ravenclaw. She looked back at the new girl

Caitlin helped by dusting off Fays back. "It is quite alright. I use to do that very charm on my mother just to get out of cleaning my room, which worked until she tripped over something on the floor." With a small smile, Caitlin turned and waved her wand one last time to spell the dirt, dust, and grime away. "There we go. All done."

She smiled at the new girl: "Thanks for help, that definitely sounds handy....I could not use such spells at home." She looked around and took her Potion book from the floor. She brushed the dust from it and looked at Caitlin with curious eyes. "So...what brings you here?", she asked as she sat down on the windowsill. She watched a new girl with interest. She looked powerful ans she already seemed to know much more than Fay about the spells and wizarding world despite she herself had a father who was a wizard. She knew very well that she was a witch-to-be, but she could never release her powers at home. Suddenly she started to feel sad as she was thinking about home. But at the same time she felt extremely happy. She was not home now and, although she loved the place she grew up in, it was never as great as Hogwarts, despite she was here only a few days so far.
She pinched her cheek, "There was no time to think about home and especially to be sad!", she whispered silently to herself and looked again on the new girl.
"Please, teach me the spell", she smiled at her with determination in her eyes.

"Nothing much. I have a free period and normally the Library is full at all times of the day. So I come here to just read." Caitlin took the other side of the windowsill. Her eyes looked out at the window. "Hope you do not mind some company. I will probably just be reading. But I could teach you those spells if you want." Caitlin offered as she brushed some hair behind her ear.

"That would be great!", she smiled at the girl and started to feel excited to learn some new spells. She put her potions book away and the sink and took out her wand from the pocket of her cloak. Fay always felt the most happy when she could learn to use magic since at home she was not allowed to use it as her mother was way too worried about being discovered. She looked at her wand which she was now gripping tightly and for the first time she realized the power that she could achieve with this magical wand. She stood up straight as if she was preparing for a battle and pointed with the tip of her wand on the floor.
"Please, show me", she watched Caitlin with curious eyes, making sure to hear her well. She gripped her wand tighter, thinking it would make her spells more powerful. She already felt excited when she saw the magic for the first time, but now someone is actually willing to teach her a new spell! Fay could not be happier, but for the first time she did not want to show it. She really wanted to be recognized as a potential witch.

A girl would inch into the bathroom, glancing around with her deep, dark blue eyes. It was evident she wasn't in a good state of mind. Her small legs rushed her over to the sink, her hands quickly splashing water in her face, uncaring as to whether or not it dripped onto her clothing. She rested there for a moment, eyes focused on herself into the mirror.

"It's okay.. It's okay.. The hat doesn't make mistakes, you'll do fine."

She told herself, trying her best to stay calm. In all the commotion, she hadn't even noticed the two other girls occupying the room. She twisted around to the two, eyes wide as she tried her best to adjust her posture, wiping some water from her fringe, so it wouldn't leak onto her eyes and nose.

"Hi. Sorry. I'm just.. having a bit of trouble."

Fay slowly turned her head towards the opening door and when she saw a girl sneak in, she smiled widely. Although she really wanted to run to her and tell her hello, as it seemed a great new opportunity to make a friend, instead she forced herself to stay calm and not to say a word. She watched the girl with curious eyes, but then it turned into the worry. She felt sorry for the girl, she did not know what happened to her, but it seemed as she was unhappy, which deeply affected Fay. She did not like to see unhappy people.
She made a silent step forward to listen what she is saying and immediately as she said 'the hat', she became interested.
Fay stepped forward and calmly looked at the girl. With a worried voice she asked:
"Are you alright?...Is something bothering you?", she gave her a friendly smile as she stood there, looking at the distressed girl whose name she did not even know. She put her hands into her cloak pocket and took out a tissue from it which she offered to the new girl, hoping it would break the ice between them and make her happier.

She'd blush, it being quite obvious and easy to see. Though she took the generous offer of tissue, jutting her hand outwards to slowly take it from the girls hand, wiping a combination of water and tears from her face and eyes. She was distressed, though knew to remain courteous, always using her manners.

"Sorry, how rude of me.. I'm Siena, Slytherin. First year, as you could tell by the whole.. 'the hat doesn't make mistakes' thing."

She analysed the girl up and down, looking her from head to toe. It was clear she didn't do it in a rude way, just intrigued by the girl, interested in getting to know her, mainly due to her politeness.
