Magical Mysteries PV Roxanne and Oswald Closed

"Maybe it could be easier to belong with fr-...uhm... just... with someone could relate...". Eileen went from a sad, embarrassed expression to an excited and happy one. Her eyes shined at the thought that the pretty girl did not exactly hate her. She wanted to jump around and hug her, but she stopped herself before so she wouldn't scare Roxanne.
Roxanne reminded her of a frightened street kitten, scared and alone. One time, when Eileen was still in London, she was walking with her family when they found a small cat. Eileen chased the cat into an alley, similar how to Roxanne was in between two shelves in the library. When Eileen tried to step near the cat, it hissed and scratched her and ran away as fast as its little legs could carry it.
She made sure to calm herself down and pretend like it wasn't a big deal.
"REALLY? Oh I mean... Really? That's cool. Thats real cool."
Then, the red head stepped closer, surely to scold Eileen this time. She embraced for the impact of harsh words but instead got an unexpected answer. Advice.

He advised that the two girls researched spells and magic creatures and even gave a name of a book that they could read. But before Eileen could thank him he turned away grabbing his book and walk out of the library. "Wait!"
"SHHHHHH!!!" Eileen ignored that one this time.
She turned to her new friend. "Uhm, should we chase after him? He seems like he knows how this school works. Or, um, do you just want to look at that book? The history of Hogwarts or whatnot."

Roxanne flinches as the redhead moves closer and speaks to them as well. Not because of who they were or what they said, just the closer other people got the more trapped and confined she felt. How she wished she could be normal. But then he speaks offering advice on what they could do in order to get a better understanding of the magical world. And a book, a book about the history of Hogwarts. She was sure that one would probably be a good stepping off point to be sure. Before either her or Eileen could say anything to him though, the boy quickly ran away from them and out of the library. Perhaps she wasn't the only one with social anxieties? She almost felt bad for the boy.

And then Eileen spoke up, wanting to chase after the boy. Her whole body tenses up at the idea of chasing after someone through the halls, the idea made her feel ill. Especially since when people ran, they would sweat. and sweat is both smelly and dirty. and if she and the other two are sweaty she was completely certain she would pass out if not be entirely Ill.

"If...If you want to, you can..." she says sheepishly "But if he wanted to leave...maybe it's best to let him?" she felt sort of guilty for suggesting not going after the boy, he seemed helpful and like he wanted to friendly

The suggestion of chasing after the boy made Roxanne's body tense up. Eileen figured that chasing after him would probably be a bad idea. Besides, they will probably see each other around... right?

"If...if you want to, you can... but if he wanted to leave... maybe it's best to let him? she said in a sheepish voice.
Eileen never thought of that before. He probably wanted to be away from them since they had caused a scene, but then why would he give them advice? People were confusing.
Ever since Eileen was still in her muggle primary school, she could never understand people no matter how much she tried. It was most likely because she couldn't understand people's sarcasm or read body positions. She didn't understand why people wanted to be alone, but she did understand that everyone was different from her. Eileen had to learn that at a very young age when the other kids started teasing her for the things she said or did. But Eileen was brave, and teasing never really bothered her, so she did her best to try and understand why the other kids wanted to hurt her. Just as now, she tried her best to understand why that boy wanted to run away.
"Yeah, you are probably right," she said turning to Roxanne. "We should go find that book! Any idea where it could be?"
