┏ ┓Promise made her way to the Hogwarts library in look of peace and quiet to finish up some history homework. As soon as she enterd the library, she spied shelves and shelves of books, waiting for there pages to be read. Promise could call herself a book worm, but that might be an overstatment, since she couldn't always be found with her nose in a book. She loved the way books could always have impressions on us, and always have us sobing, laughing, or sitting at the edge of our seats.
She took a spot at a table she found, then placed down her bag and pulled out her half-finished piece of homework and quill along with some ink. Dipping her quill gracefully into the bottle and writing down the rest of her work, she paused every now and then to think about the next sentence, which became paragraphs. She marveld at the wondeful silence that was around her, she loved it with all her heart, she should always write her homework in this quiet library. If she thought back to all her times in past libraries, she couldn't help imagining them noisy, as children scrambled around gigling, and there parents chased them around and around the packed shelves, the librarians, looking up from there papers, shushing the kids and adults. Promise dropped her quill and leaned back in her chair, almost done. She slid back over to her parchment, but before she could press her quill to the page, she heard the door close, she turned around.┗ ┛

Reducio@@ Coding by @Estelle NyxQuinn yawned and checked her wizard watch. With a jolt of surprise she realized she should get going on her homework. Quinn grabbed her bag full of her homework, quill, and ink and set off to the library. Quinn wondered what she should do first. Her potions homework wasn't too hard, her transfiguration homework really needed to get done though. Quinn shrugged to herself then smiled as she reached the familiar library doors. She opened them as quietly as she could in case other students were studying. The doors were painfully loud as they closed and Quinn winced as a girl gave her a stare. Unfortunatly it was the only free table so Quinn quickly sat down on the other side of the table and put her bag down. Taking out her ink and quill she read the question over again. Gosh, I need to find a book on this. Quinn looked in her bag for her transfiguration book and flipped to the page she wanted. The book thudded on the table with a loud sound.
"Sorry about the noise." Quinn said to the girl next to her. She hoped that she didn't sound rude or anything. Quinn wondered why she didn't recognize the girl, she was obviously a Ravenclaw.

┏ ┓Promise looked back at her work with a sigh, she still had work to do. As the other girl walked over, Promise saw that she as well was a fellow Ravenclw, the first year sat down next to her and the book made a disturbing loud sound as it was placed on the table. Promise frowned slightly, but looked back at her page. The girl apoligized for the noise, which was at least resuring. Promise just nodded silently, opening her own book to check her answers. She flipped through the pages, scribbling down ideas every now and then, she looked over at the other girl. Perhaps she was doing homework, likely, what else would one be doing at the table of a library. Promise decided she might as well be polite, so she settled with a simple:
"Hello." Which was hopfully polite enough. She dipped her quill into her ink bottle countless times, and scribbled down countless words. Doing homework was boring. She sighed as she snapped her book shut and rested her quill atop her ink bottle so she wouldn't ruin her work with ink. Are you doing homework as well? She asked, she was almost finished, her hands were exhausted and she just needed a quick hand break before returning to writing down paragraph after paragraph.
