Farewell Class of 2024
Morning, June 10, 2024

It had taken Cassius the better part of the morning to rearrange enough wall space in the Small Hall to accommodate the large corkboard he had borrowed from elsewhere in the castle. The levitation charm had been invaluable in navigating the bulky item through the castle corridors and in hanging it upon the wall where it now rested a few short paces from the large double doors that led into the Great Hall. The work had not been exhausting but when he brushed his temple with the sleeve of his robe he found he was sweating. It had not helped that many of the portraits in the room -- some of whom were not happy at having been temporarily rearranged -- formed a kind of peanut gallery offering everything from taunts to uninvited decoration advice that often contradicted what the portrait adjacent to them recommended. Indeed, there were very strong opinions when Cassius accidentally left the corkboard askew by half a degree.

Eventually, once content everything was hanging properly, the Ravenclaw prefect took a few steps back to admire his handiwork. Where portraits once hanged a large corkboard dominated the space on the wall, a banner with words "Farewell Class of 2024" displayed proudly near the top. He was no artist but he was proud of himself for not butchering the spacing of the letters. Cassius recalled without fondness the last banner he had created in which the final letters had to be squished together in order to fit. The result of poor planning and a mistake he did not make a second time.

Near the corkboard was a table that played host to an assortment of quill pens, inkwells, parchment of various sizes, and thumb tacks. If students wished to bring their own supplies they were welcome to but Cassius had only provided the basics. A note with instructions to students already hanged upon the corkboard but to start off what he hoped might become a Hogwarts tradition, Cassius approached the table to write the inaugural note:
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began
Now far ahead the Road has gone
And I must follow, if I can
Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet
And whither then? I cannot say
It was a song of hope and adventure from one of Cassius' favorite authors. It sang of a future to be discovered, a journey to be experienced. A fine send-off for the graduates now entering the world outside of Hogwarts, filled with knowledge and potential to leave their marks upon the world. He wished each and every one of them the best of luck.

Farewell Note

The day was quite approaching for the seventh years to graduate, it was strange to say that for Tristan, they were only two years away from him, that he would graduate two years from now. He could without doubt claim that he had changed significantly from the boy he was in his first year. The re was such a mysterious air to the world out there after graduation in a way. The beauty of it was that everything would be up to air once he graduated and once the seventh years this year graduation. He and them could do anything they desired to do, get a job, stay unemployed, or disappear. It was strange to say but also exciting at the same time. He had come to hope that the division of houses and petty rivalries would end between peers once he graduated so that was the advice that he would provide to them today. Although as a fifth year, it was unlikely that all the seventh years would listen to his younger advice, but he knew that it was important. They would be shocked by what he wrote after all. So he took a scroll and a quill and started writing.
Dear Seventh years, you may have heard of me, you may have not, who cares. What I am telling you right now is let all rivalries die, do not let the divisions created in Hogwarts affect your experience in the Wizarding World. It is quite important that as wixen we must not fight amongst ourselves. The muggles are far more powerful than us, they are more innovative, and they could kill us at any moment. But they don't know about us and they won't know about us. Revolutionise the world, seventh years. Research and combine muggle technology with magical powers. I would say I would be begging if that would not be embarrassing. But also, be kind, use magic to save people, to better our world and the Muggle world. Be better than our predecessors. I am too cynical to say that you will be the generation to change the way we see the Muggle World, but I hope that you will at least see the benefit that would come from figuring out a way to combine Muggle technology with magic. They've gone to the moon for goodness sake, did you know that? Any ways, congratulations seventh years, and enjoy your adulthood.

She wasn't sure what exactly to expect when she entered the Small Hall but when Emily heard about a little event to help wish the graduating Seventh Years luck in their adulthood, she couldn't help but feel drawn to the activity. No doubt the current Seventh Years had seen more First Years than they could've possibly counted during their tenure at Hogwarts, but surely they would feel encouraged all the same, even a little bit, if a First Year such as Emily would write them a letter to wish them well right?

She walked into the Small Hall and was immediately greeted with the corkboard that would display all the heartfelt messages soon to be delivered to the graduates. The size of it was big enough to carry the thoughts and feelings of every other student in the school. It was already intimidating enough for Emily.

What could I possibly say that could encourage these guys?

After almost a full year at Hogwarts Emily still had her bouts of insecurities. She was genetically a tall girl but still felt small at the most profound of times.

But if there was one thing she could do, it was write. She loved it, practically a joint first to reading. Any advice was good advice and so long she wrote it down her letter would be a success anyhow. She grabbed a fresh sheet of parchment and went to a space in the corner of the room where she began to have a think of what to say. After a few minutes she decided to follow the usual "Write what you feel" cliché but also to stress the hope they should be feeling for their future. She has hope for them. She'll become just like them in a few years after all and not just in the sense that she'll be leaving Hogwarts to pursue something beyond that.

With her head down, Emily began to write...
Dear Seventh Years,

I know you don't know me. To yous I'm just another head in the masses of students fumbling about between classes and the chaos of being a young person. But to us down at the bottom of this convoluted mess, you're a bunch of All-Stars who have earned their rightful place in the successful hierarchy - also known as Adulthood.

You've all gone through seven years of ups, downs, lefts, rights and very bizarre diagonals yet you've all come out on top. That's as amazing as climbing Kilimanjaro in the Muggle world! To be able to make sense of being a teenager whilst juggling exams and figuring things out for yourself... While I'm sure it has been far from a flawless and easy journey, you all now have the finesse to make the journey through adulthood smoother for yourselves. The best part is that you all now have the chance to do what you love.

And I suppose that's the take away from my wordy letter. You've worked hard to get where you're going now and it all leads to doing something you're all going to enjoy! In a weird way, adulthood is like taking a vacation - you're going off to new places and are about to do all kinds of new and fun things!

Don't worry about what you're leaving behind back here. If anything, it's now our responsibility to make you all proud. And we will. We will do our very best to honour what you've achieved, either for yourselves or for Hogwarts as a whole. It's the least we can do after all you've had to put up with, between flipping through endless revision notes and directing lost First Years as we ask for help in the corridors... I'm pretty sure I was one of them... Sorry!

Good luck in all yous are pursuing! We'll miss you but we couldn't be happier for you!

The corridors of Hogwarts were quieter than usual as the end of the school year approached. Ruby felt a mixture of excitement and sadness. It had been a year of discovery, magic, and new friendships, but now it was time to say goodbye to the seventh years who were graduating. Though she didn't personally know any of them, she admired their journey and the stories she'd overheard about their adventures.

Carrying a piece of parchment in her hand, Ruby made her way to the Small Hall. She had spent the last few nights working on a letter, a heartfelt message to the graduates who were about to leave the castle and embark on new adventures. She wanted to contribute something meaningful, a small token of appreciation and inspiration for those who had paved the way for students like her.

Ruby reached the large corkboard in the Small Hall, where other students already hung their letters. She carefully unrolled the parchment, reading it one last time to ensure everything was just right.
To the Graduating Seventh Years,

As you prepare to leave Hogwarts and step into the wider world, I wanted to take a moment to express my admiration and gratitude. Though we may not know each other personally, your journey has been an inspiration to all of us younger students. Your courage, perseverance, and kindness have left an indelible mark on this school and on our hearts.

Hogwarts is a place of learning, magic, and growth. Each of you has contributed to making it a home for those who follow in your footsteps. Remember the friendships you have made, the challenges you have faced, and the triumphs you have celebrated. These memories will always be a part of you, guiding you as you venture into new horizons.

As you step into this next chapter, carry with you the lessons learned within these walls. Embrace the unknown with confidence and kindness. The world beyond Hogwarts is vast and full of possibilities, and you have the strength and wisdom to make a difference.

Thank you for being the role models we needed. Congratulations on your graduation, and may your future be as bright and magical as your time here.

With heartfelt wishes,

Ruby
Satisfied, Ruby pinned the letter to the corkboard, making sure it was secure. She stepped back to admire it, feeling a sense of accomplishment. She hoped her words would resonate with the graduates, offering them a moment of reflection and encouragement as they moved on from this chapter of their lives.

Ruby took a deep breath and smiled, imagining the seventh years reading her letter and feeling a sense of pride and warmth. She might be a first-year, but she had found her own way to contribute to the Hogwarts community. With one last look at the letter, she turned and walked away, her heart light and hopeful for the future.

you must forge your own path for it to mean anything
They were days away from graduation. She should have been excited but in truth, she was just scared. Being an adult seemed terrifying. Hogwarts had, quite ironically, become her safety net over the years and going out into the big wide world alone in horrifying. Serena could not shake the feeling of dread that flowed with her as she looked forward, knowing full well that she was going to have to look after herself.

Serena hesitated for a moment before she walked up to the corkboard and pinned up a long piece of parchment. She did not bother to add her name onto it, it didn't really matter who she was in truth. Her letter was likely far too long but after seven years, she had a lot to say. Despite that, there was so much more she had to say and far too many people she had to thank. For now, it would do. It covered what she really wanted to say, after all.
Dear You,

The past seven years have changed me more than I can truly explain. It's kind of funny to look back now. I remember how seven years ago, I was not sure if I would ever walk out of here alive. My goal was simply to survive and get out of Hogwarts in one piece. And now, I don't actually want to leave. I'll miss this place that has truly become my home through all of the trials and tribulations. Let me share my story, because I feel like there would be someone out there who may need to hear it. If you feel like your only goal in life is to survive and leave Hogwarts, keep reading.

I know Hogwarts is full of danger, but I didn't know just how bad it could get. In my first year, I almost died. As in, I likely would have never made it to Spring if my then Head of House hadn't risked his own life to save mine. I owe the now Headmaster @Solomon Lear more than my words can capture, as well as former Head Boy @Reid Kovacs, who got me to the hospital wing that night. The rumours of the Hufflepuff camp out and the 'Burnt Hufflepuff' followed me.

It changed me. I became a shadow of my former self. Afraid of things I had never really feared before. I dealt with typical school experiences like stupid boys with their stupid rumours, spreading dumb lies that were not even remotely true! I pushed people away like any moody teenager, not wanting to let them in and not wanting to let people know that I was scared. I was afraid of life. Despite being alive, I was alone and hopeless.

Yet in that darkness, I found myself saved by those around me. My Head of House, Professor @Caradoc Browne, sparked a light in that dark abyss that I forgot had once existed. The shadow that left a scar so deep finally started to wither away in that light. I met a student who I definitely yelled at (thinking he was one of those aforementioned stupid boys). He turned out to be my best friend. He helped me to stand up every time I fell, and every single time I face adversity, I think of a single motto: "What would @Hugh Lowe do?".

Seven years ago, I inadvertly hid who I was because I was so afraid of being treated differently, so afraid of yet another person telling me how ugly I am because my heritage. But living by that motto and seeing how our Hogwarts Hexwizard Champion @Howard White fought so hard against the prejudice half-breeds face inspired me.

Throughout the years, students both graduating and younger, have bought a smile to my face. Time and time again, I was saved.

Seven years ago, I wouldn't have had the courage to tell you this story. I now do. And I am sharing it with the hope that you realise that no matter how dark the path ahead may seem at times, there is always light if you keep on walking. Hold onto that glimmer of hope, it will keep you going. And if you can't, hold onto your friends. The people around you will relight the fire of hope within you. You are never alone in Hogwarts. Someone out there has been through the same situation. You will never have to walk that dark path alone, even if you cannot see the others walking beside you right now just know that they are there.

Seven years ago, I was supposed to be the Head Girl who led my fellow classmates and school. But it was my classmates, the students and the professors at this school that ended up leading me.

So thank you. Because I knew you, I was saved. Because I knew you, I finally found my light. Because I knew you, I have changed for good.

To the friends I leave behind - if I could stay, I would. Trust me when I say that I do not want to leave Hogwarts anymore than you likely want to stay. Nonetheless, I am so incredibly proud to say that you're my friend. I'll be waiting on the other side. No matter what happens, keep on walking. If you need me, I will come flying, fully donning shiny armour and ready to kick butt.

To my fellow graduating class of 2024 - you have survived every single day that you have been through so far. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that if you can survive school, you can handle any obstacles that may come your way. I have no doubt that the lessons we have learned will guide our path. So until we meet again, let me just say it has been one hell of a ride and I am glad we made it to the other side. Let the new adventure begin - I will see you out there.

Lots of love always,
Me

With a sigh, Serena walked away. This was it, it was almost time to say goodbye to her home. From July, she would need to find a new place to live and earn money. For now, she needed to continue her job search before she ended up homeless.

Despite not knowing a single one of the seventh years graduating, Cass's wondering feet had lead them to the massive chalkboard. Initially they hadn't planned on writing a message as it was well... writing. Which wasn't something they really enjoyed. At all. They couldn't help but get distracted every time they picked up a quill, and going out of their way to do more wasn't something they were planning to do. But yet here they were.

One note couldn't hurt. Besides, probably no one would read these either. And it was a nice thing to do. They were trying to do more nice things. So with a deep breath, they picked up a quill and parchment. What would they even write? "Hi I'm some random firstie that you have never met have a nice life?". It may have only been a year, but they couldn't imagine leaving Hogwarts.

Breath in, and out. Focus. Just write something. Talk about how you hope they get a nice job and don't end up homeless and things. But with nicer words. It didn't have to be long, and they didn't even have to put their name on it. Though they probably would. This was even more pointless if they didn't get any credit from it. In six years they would be doing the same thing, which was crazy. It was so far away that they didn't even want to think about it.

To the seventh years

Hey. My name is Cass. None of you know me. But I wrote this anyway, and I don't even know why. I hope you all get jobs and don't end up homeless. I hope you keep your friends from Hogwarts and don't get stabbed as much as you do here. I hope you find the thing that you want to do for your whole life, and do it well. I hope you don't forget your time at Hogwarts, because though it was undoubtedly crazy it was important to. It made you who you are and all them fancy words. Yeah. I didn't really know what to write but what I wanted to say is have a good life. But in fancier nicer words.

Have fun and stay alive,
Cass

It certainly wasn't as fancy or as inspiring as the other letters on the wall, but it was theirs and it was honest. Graduation must be terrifying, and if their letter helped at all it was worth writing it. They chucked the quill down and pinned their paper up on the corkboard. Farewell, seventh years.

OOC NOTE: I never got to meet any 7th years IC sob sob but cant wait to have Cass cause chaos with your new firsties. As Cass would say, have fun and hope you don't get stabbed as much as at hogwarts :]

sometime between june 10 and june 25

While she had a reason to celebrate with her upcoming birthday, she also had a reason to grieve much like others did. It was that time of the year again, everyone moving up a grade, save for a small few. For some, this was the end of the road. Alyssea already attended Howard's farewell party that Annie hosted... two weeks ago? But the end was truly beginning to set in for everyone.

Passing by the halls, Alyssea found a big board with the words 'Farewell Class of 2024' to frame it. There were already some notes, some small and some longer than the rest. She was running late to class the first time she saw it and resolved herself to come back later and write something down.

While she was usually forgetful and kept some things until the end, this one kept gnawing at the back of her head. Alyssea hadn't met many Seventh Years, but there were a couple that were owed some words of goodbye. Alyssea began preparing the notes in class on pages in her notebook that she would come to rip out later. There was always time for class, time to ask the teachers questions later. But there might never be time to say a few things to the seniors before they left. In these final moments, Alyssea could only stomach the stress and sadness of saying goodbye, even if they may not have been close.

When class ended and she had free time before dinner, Alyssea came back to the corridor with the board and ripped out the notes she prepared. They weren't long; she was trying to save paper in her notebooks and some she had only talked to a few times, but it was better than nothing.
@Serena Towers,

You're an incredible broom racer and writer. It's been a great honour to work beside you in the Headliner and as your captain. We will miss you so much but I know you're destined for great things. We'll never forget you.
- Alyssea B.
@Howard White,

It's easy to see how much the Quidditch team loves you and will miss you. I may not have known you for long but I'm sure you'll do great things in the future. Good luck and fly high, captain!
- Alyssea B.
@Xailah Alptraum,

The way you're able to imitate people's appearances is really cool. But you're also a really cool person in general. It's been an honour seeing you race on the broom racing fields. Best of luck wherever you go from here!
- Alyssea B.
@Alan Vanes,

If you become a famous duellist, at least I can say I got encased in a bubble by the one and only Alan Vanes. Seriously, that was super cool. I hope to be able to learn as many cool spells as you know. Best wishes for the future!
- Alyssea B.
@Delilah Stewart,

I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do managing the Headliner! We're a pretty big bunch but you and Ruby have always made it work. Wherever you go, I'm sure you'll be just as successful, if not more so. Good luck!
- Alyssea B.
She scattered them across the board to make it look fuller than it already was. If only she'd known them more, known even more Seventh Years so she could write them all messages. Alyssea opened her notebook again to scribble one last note. One big message for all of them so that if someone didn't receive a personal one, there was at least one person thinking about them. The handwriting was more messy than the ones she'd prepared in class, more rushed, but the thought was there.
To all the Seventh Years,

You are an incredible bunch. I may not have known you personally, but you've lived a whole seven years here, so that's pretty impressive. For a little kid like me who's still got her years ahead of her, I'm sure you've touched the hearts of many students, even just a single drop. But a drop in the ocean is all that it takes to make an impact for the rest of someone's life.

There's a whole new world waiting for you, and I can't wait to hear everything you guys get up to. Best wishes and good luck. We'll see you on the other side o7
Her pen hovered at the end of the page. Should she sign it off with her name? There were five notes with her name on them already.

Alyssea stood for a few minutes before ripping the page out and sticking it to the wall. Done. It was done. She sighed as she looked at the board. As she walked away, she thought, I should say hi to them all before they leave.

“I hope she'll be a fool — that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.”

One word described Elisa's motivation to come to this little event. She was bored. Bored out of her mind. The end of year exams nowhere near as challenging as Elisa had expected them to be, and in her free time Elisa often found herself in the Library, reading for hours straight. Now she knew it wasn't good for her eyes, and that is exactly why she decided to take a peek at this Farewell event she had heard a few students talking about.

The little first year walked through the castle's majestic hallways, all the way to the Small Hall, where the event was supposed to take place. She hadn't been in this place a lot, but had no trouble finding it, because of her purposeless wanderings around the castle.

She was relatively early, but there were already a few students bending their heads towards a table, where quills and parchments and ink bottles were laid, ready for use. Among the little crowd, she spotted a few familiar faces.

Elisa realised she was lucky to find some people she knew. It would've been quite awkward to leave a little note and walk away, not talking to anyone present in the room.

As she thought, Elisa trotted to the place and empty place on the table.

Grabbing a quill for herself and a small piece of parchment (she figured she wouldn't need one that big, she wasn't about to write hundreds of words...), she found herself a spot on the table.

Elisa laid the parchment out in front of her, dipped the quill in the ink, and began writing.

Dear Seventh Years,

What next? Elisa didn't know how to address those grumpy looking adult-like older students. Well, she had to find a way somehow.

It has only been one year for me here at Hogwarts, and I have already made memories that will last a lifetime. You, as seventh years... I can not imagine the experiences and lessons and challenges and memories at a whole.

When I first entered through those magnificent great oak doors, I sensed magic vibrating through the walls of the ancient stone castle. Hogwarts is so wonderful, so full of mysteries and knowledge. Thousands, maybe millions of magical children have entered and left through its doors.

You, as big seventh years, have entered and left so many times already, but this time, you will not come back again.

It is a pity to leave this magical place, but it is after all just school. You have learnt much already, and now is time to go on.

Elisa lifted her quill. She wondered if she should sign her name. No, she'd rather not. After all, which seventh year cared about a stupid little first year?

Well, I wouldn't talk to anyone, Elisa thought as she left the now very crowded table.

Walking around the halls of Hogwarts on the quiet morning of June 10th, a few days before graduation, Brooke realized that she did not know any 7th years. She was sad to know that but she walked down the the stairs of the Grand Hall. Seeing some people eating breakfast at the tables, she continued on her way. Always, since the first day she started roaming, she’d loved roaming school. Just looking at paintings, portraits, and everything at Hogwarts was oh so beautiful. She walked and walked.

Brook eneded up in the Small Hall, where she saw in there was a large corkboard. She smiled when she saw the handwriting on those notes pinned carefully to the wall. Though she could not see the words meant or was, she knew they were close to someone ’s heart or a kind note for an wonderful seventh year. In spite of not knowing any seventh years, Brooke did not want to be the only one to not write to the graduating class of 2024. She smiled, and saw that others were writing too as well in here.

To the table, she walked, Brooke noticed quills, ink, parchment, and thumb tacks all scattered like stars in a dark night’s sky all around the table by the board. She saw a brown haired girl’s head down, writing a letter with a quill. Brooke noticed it was Emily, her new friend from not even that long along. There was more people there but after writing their letter, they stood back to admire the work of other students and a perfect’s great idea to do this, and turned on their heels to leave the beautiful hall.

Taking a quill and a piece of parchment paper, Brooke started to write. At first she did not know what to write, but thinking for a while, she finally started write what she really wanted to the seventh years to know and what her hopes and wishes were for them.
Dear graduating Seventh years,

Congrats to all of you, you’ve been through so much these past seven years, and you’ve had your ups and downs, but you made it through! So absolutely good but great luck to you, I’m happy that you are graduating but I'm sad that I didn’t get to know any of you. To be honest with you, I'm not really a wisdom person who has a lot of advice to people, but I’ll try.

Watching you walk around Hogwarts for the past year, its all amazing everything you do, big or small. To you, I'm just a another little admiring fan of yours that is astonished by ever move you make. I wish I could of gotten to know you but as a graduating seventh year, you have another thing, you have another priority right now, you have the world in your hands now. You get to choose where you get to go now. You get to choose what you are going to do.

You've all grown up since day one, but your not stopping your growth (ok, maybe not physically but emotionally and mentally you are), grow in life, emotions, and mentally. I may not know everything or as much as you do, but I sure do know about the hard mishaps and mistakes y'all, adults and I, as well, have. Much mistakes, that we all have lived and learned, hoping to not do them again on easy or hard costs.

In this new chapter, I wish all wonderful proficients
and great accomplishments in this new change of your life. As of all, I hope you all have a fiery flame of hope for your new world. Cheers for you, and your graduating peers! Congratulations for your achievement and happy graduation seventh years!!

May you light your new path always now and forever,
Brookline Quinn
Signing it, Brooke realized that her letter was kinda long. Oops, she thought in her head, chuckling a little. She read over a few times before she placed her quill down and grabbed a thumb tack.

Brooke pushed the tack into the board carefully to make sure she didn’t make the large board move. Stepping back, she wanted to look at the board, notes sprinkled upon the board, some long, some very short, some in the middle, though all uprising the same. Brooke saw her Slytherin friend Elisa leave the table, smiling softly she did the same.

It's finally June! The school year is coming to an end and Tracey is pretty sad about it. As much as she's excited for her second year, she's also sad about leaving Hogwarts and her friends, but she knows she'll be able to see them all next year.

Tracey heard rumors about something being held in the Small Hall by a Ravenclaw prefect, whom she doesn't really know, and since she was curious, she decided to go and check it out.

It took her a while from going down to the Small Hall, since the staircases kept on changing on her. She was annoyed by it since she hadn't gotten used to the staircases moving yet, but she soon made her way to the Small Hall, and saw nine people inside the small hall, and she only knew two of them, but they seemed to be busy, so she didn't approach them.

She looked around the Entrance Hall and noticed that the only thing different about it was that there was a huge corkboard with the words "Farewell Class of 2024", which made her smile, since she figured out what'll happen. She also saw a note stuck to the corkboard which made her know for sure that they'll be writing letters to the graduating class. Now, she doesn't know anyone who is a seventh year, so it'll be hard for her to write something, but in the end, she knows she'll be able to think of something to write.

She slowly walked over to the table with writing supplies on it and took a piece of parchment paper and a pen, since she was excited to have seen one and wanted to use it, since she hadn't used a pen in a while. She fiddled with the pen in her hand as she began thinking of what to write.

She completely had no idea what to write, nothing was coming to mind. If only she had spent some time with the seventh years, but either way, she decided to think of something to write to the whole graduation class, so she began thinking of some things to write, but again, nothing was coming to her mind. She had a feeling she was going to be here for a while, until something came to mind. She smiled happily when something came to her mind. She stopped fiddling with the pen and began writing,

Dear graduating class of 2024,
I hope you all enjoyed your time at Hogwarts, sadly it comes to an end. Outside of Hogwarts, I hope you all have a good life, and that you all have a good future, and I wish you all luck in the outside world!
From Tracey Bailey

Once she was finished writing, she put the pen back and took some thumb tacks and stuck them to the paper before she put it up onto the corkboard. She smiled happily with her mini letter, and she hoped the seventh years liked it though she wasn't sure what to write. Once she was done, she decided to leave the Small Hall, since there wasn't really any point of her staying in the Small Hall, so that's why she left.
