Personality: Zabe is a kind girl who can be talkative but loves making friends. She has walked with a limp since she could walk but that doesn't stop her from being herself.
History: Zabe Monet was born in Toulouse, France to her father George and her mother Helen. She was an only child and was content with simple things, never wanting anything special. One day when she was 3, a little girl named Elizabeth was visiting her grandparents in Cugnaux, France which was a short distance away. One day, after school, the school from Cugnaux came to visit and with them came the little girl. When it was time to go, Zabe convinced her parents to give their address to Elizabeth’s parents so that their little girls could be pen pals. Over the years, despite her parents' worries, Zabe never asked for anything expensive except to go visit her best friend Elizabeth. Once, when she was 8 and visiting her friend, she saw Elizabeth’s parents do magic, and she wanted to know if her parents could also do magic. Unfortunately, she found out that her father couldn’t do magic being a squib unlike her wizard mother. When she got her letter to Beauxbaton, she squealed with delight and immediately rushed off to write a letter to Elizabeth who had by that time gotten her Hogwarts letter.
Zabe’s first instance of magic happened when she was 6 years old. She had wanted to go sledding with the other kids in town on the single large hill nearby. Unfortunately, her parents could not afford a sled. She trudged up the hill, determined to ask if she could ride with someone on a sled. By the time she got up however, everyone had started sliding down so she sat down and scooted herself down. After a lot of scooting down without a sled, she had a funny feeling that she was sitting on something and she also saw that she was gaining on the other kids. Glancing down, she saw that she had a sled underneath her that hadn’t been there. When she finished sliding down and had grown tired, she started to drag the sled home but it had vanished. She raced home and excitedly told her parents about what had happened.
