Slytherin common room, Hogwarts
Dearest Auntie,
I arrived safely at Hogwarts yesterday. Sorry for not sending an owl yesterday. I was too exhausted even to lift up a quill. I have been missing you and uncle awfully!
When I waved goodbye to you, I was feeling really excited. So I tried to go from compartment to compartment, trying to find some place to sit. I finally found a seat and shared a compartment with Melody Parker, ( Slytherin like me) and Sunny Diaz ( Hufflepuff). They were pretty cool.
We took a long time to reach Hogwarts, and by the time we reached the castle by crossing the river through a boat, it was night time and I was starving by then… First we were taken into a room and then we went to the great Hall to get sorted and eat dinner.I was really nervous and tense when my turn came. I put the hat on and it took some time to decide which house to put me in. I was okay with both Ravenclaw and Slytherin was fine as well. The sorting hat decided Slytherin was the best for me. The table let out a huge cheer as I joined them. The great hall then filled with delicious food items and we all ate them hungrily. After desert, we were taken to our dormitories by the prefects.
I had a great time, Auntie!
