Mislaid Book pv Anne Stay Finished

I was on my way to the library to study for tomorrow's exam, when I got there I picked up a book on potions, and sat at a table next to a girl who was sleeping under a book with a card next to her that appeared to be a diary. I put my thoughts aside and began to study.But I see that she forgot her diary on the table, I take a closer look at the cover of the diary and see that it has a name. Elizabeth, I thought. Suddenly, I hear the doors of the library open and I see the diary girl, desperate, seeming to be looking for something, and I go up to her with the diary in my hand and ask, "That's yours, isn't it."

I still walk up to her and see her face, which was once one of despair, turn into a face of alavius; ''I know what it's like to lose these personal things once I dropped my diary in my friend's backpack, I freaked out in despair.''

As she walked back into the library, looking for her journal, she saw a fellow Ravenclaw sitting at the table where she had been sitting, holding her journal. She slowly walked over and sat down.

Elizabeth smiled and said, "Hi there, my name's Elizabeth, I think that's my journal. Can I have it to make sure?"

Perhaps the girl would be nice and let her see if it was her journal. She didn't want to make a bad impression on her but she didn't want the diary to get into the wrong hands. That would be her worst nightmare come true.

"If you want to, we can be friends, I'm not that bad. Just a prankster on people who I don't know. Well, also on my enemies but I don't have any enemies here so, my acquaintances and friends are the only people safe from my pranks. Oh and, by the way, what's your name?" She asked and twirled a curl around her finger.

Did I ask the right thing? Will she say yes or no? She thought and bit her lip, waiting for a response. I hope I said the right thing. I would hate it if I didn't.

"I'm not usually shy, it's...well, when I talk to people for the first time it's...kind of complicated haha." She said and smiled.

Quickly reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a crystal ring. "I bought this when me and my parents were shopping for my school supplies and, well...here, you can have it to remember me, your first friend here." She said and carved Anne's name in the ring.

"Now it says 'Liz to Anne!'" She said and gave it to Anne, "It's yours to keep, I can get more for my friends during the summer holidays. Well...see you in the morning?" She walked to the other side of Anne and opened her trunk.

She sat down at the table and cocked her head in thought before saying, "Do you like it here? I love it, especially since I've made a lot of acquaintances and friends. What's your favorite class? Mine is weird but it's Potions. A few people agree with me that History is the most boring. It's not that bad but I kind of have a hard time not dozing off." Then she paused for a moment.

"Do you have any siblings? I have an older brother, we're super close to each other."

"Do you like school, like crazy about school? I am, it's weird because my parents weren't. Might have gotten that from my grandparents." She said and smiled with fondness at her mention of her grandparents.

"Do you have grandparents that you visit? Mine are in France and in Ireland so I know some French and Irish. My best friend is at Beauxbaton, another magical school like Hogwarts. It's in France near where she was born I think."

''She's in England, she was invited to come to Hogwarts when she took 1 more year, so next year I'll introduce you to her.''

I speak excitedly and a little loud and forget I'm in the library and I put my mom covering her mouth after realizing that I spoke a little loudly, soon after I turn red like a tomato with embarrassment

"We'll grab some breakfast as soon as we can in the morning, then run out and look for mushrooms. I'm glad that tomorrow's a weekend and we don't have classes. Are you?" I asked.

Is going on the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest allowed? I don't think it's exactly forbidden. Well, we can try it, see if we get in trouble. I hope we don't though. She thought and sighed.

As she got up, she thanked Anne for giving her journal back and for the pink crystal. "My journal was a gift from my dad, I wouldn't want to lose it forever. It's kind of special to me. Do you have something special that you don't want to part with? I have a few other things that are special and are like that, one of which is the pink crystal here."

I should really get to bed. I'm tired. She thought and as a hopefully final remark said, "We should get to bed now."

1 day later
I was in the library writing a letter to Elizabeth informing her that we could not leave the castle because I had a headache and I also told her to meet at the library because I had found it a very good book.
