Owls love to play closed

I walked up to the owlery to do what I do when Levi is taking a nap. I always play with the owls. I love owls cause they are night birds. I love the night and I have always wanted to fly.
"owls, I'm back. come here I have bird seed." As soon as I said that owls flew down and landed on me. One on each shoulder.
"Hello my friends." I said quietly
I started to feed them, petting them as they ate. I giggled as one landed on my head.
"hoot hoot" I said talking to the owl. I had learned to speak owl so that I could talk to them. What I had said to the owl was "Have you seen Midnight?" Midnight wasn't my owl. I didn't know who he belonged to all I know was he was black so I named him Midnight. The owl gave a hoot that said he is asleep in one of the cubbies.
I said "hoot" which ment "thank you" I looked in each of the cubbies and as soon as I found him I picked him up and held him like a baby. His feathers were as soft as silk I loved holding him I sat down and waited for him to wake up.

Owls love to play closed
Eileen was on her way to deliver a letter to her parents, just as she does every week. Usually, the owlery was mostly empty and was filled with a bunch of owls hooting, sleeping, or coming in after delivering a letter. She never thought that you could play with the owls, until that day.
As Eileen stepped into the owlery she found a familiar looking girl with black, straight hair, standing in the middle of a group of owls, two of which were perched on her shoulders and one sitting on her head. The owl on her head looked at Eileen with curiosity and cocked it's head slightly. The girl must've not seen Eileen because she didn't acknowledge her presence, or simply she didn't care if Eileen was there. Suddenly, she started imitating an owl's noise. "Hoot Hoot!" Eileen was not born into a magical family, so she didn't know which things were normal in the wizarding world and which things were abnormal. However, Eileen was sure this was definitely not normal.
"How are you doing that?" Eileen said, mouth gaping. "Can you talk to owls?"
She started cautiously walking towards the girl and the owls. She lowered her voice so she wouldn't scare the birds away. That's the coolest freaking thing I've seen since I got here!"
