I wish a genie could pop out of nowhere and I could share wishes with anyone I like to.

I wish any kind of discrimination never existed.

Granted, but the human race is cursed to be 10x meaner or crueler for other underlying reasons than it would've been in a world with discrimination.

I wish to live to see a solarpunk universe come to fruition.

Granted, but you're trapped in an endless cycle of witnessing the solarpunk universe till the time it eventually decays.

I wish I could be fluent in Spanish and Korean.

Granted! But you can’t speak your original language anymore.

I wish I could be an elf.

Granted, but you don't have any powers an elf possesses.

I wish I could know more about ghosts.

Granted, but later you yourself will become a ghost.

I wish I could master in poem writing.

Granted, but you're not good at writing anything else now...

I wish I could have a good sense of humour.

Granted, but everyone else around you has absolutely no sense of humour/emotion.

I wish the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine had more episodes.

Granted, but they're not at all as fun as the episodes before them.

I wish to be successful in what I want to become in the future.
