Reading over the holidays
Leona sat by a large bookshelf, she was reading a book. There are so many books in the library. She thought knowing she would never read all of them. She saw nobody near her and she didn't know if anyone had stayed at Hogwarts over Christmas. She didn't really pay attention to who signed up to stay. She was one of the only ones in the Hufflepuff Common Room at night.
This is so boring...but also quite fun. Leona looked around for people but she still din't see anyone. She squirmed a bit to get in a more comfortable position on the ground. Leona hadn't really made my friends but was hoping she would. So far she knew Eugenia and Azazel, from whom she can remember. I really want more friends or to know more people maybe. She only wanted to have someone to talk to over Christmas break, but she was hoping she could read in silence. Well right now someone to talk to would be nice.
Leona sat reading for a bit longer until she got really bored and got up to look for a new book. She couldn't find one for a bit. She managed to find one after a bit and then she sat to read it.

Behind the stacks, Eryn was at work sorting through the shelves.
“Owls….. Plants. Honestly, you’d think this place would be labelled better.” She had seen some of the teachers cast spells to locate their books, and thought it was a bit of an oversight that younger students probably couldn’t do that.
She couldn’t stay too upset, however. The library was too impressive to inspire anything but awe. Though Eryn was perhaps not your typical ‘book loving’ Ravenclaw, she could certainly appreciate the knowledge stored in these walls.
It hadn’t taken long for her to explore the castle, her inquisitive nature taking over. But now she was regretting spending so much time wandering the grounds, rather than that castle. Where were those stupid books?
It wasn’t like she could just ask for help, either. The library was empty, as far as she knew, for the holidays. Though she hadn’t exactly made a grand effort to make friends during classes, she was a little lonely. When she had put her name down to stay at the school over the holidays, she hadn’t realized it would be so…. Empty.
Giving up, Eryn pulled a book from the section closest to her. Dragons. While, it wasn’t what she had come here for, but it was for sure better than another day of playing wizard chess by herself. Maybe it would even lead to her next interest, like solar flares and star systems had been this time last year. She rounded a corner to find a place to sit, and found herself standing right in front of another student. Oh, the library wasn’t empty after all!

Reading over the holidays
Leona looked up when she heard footsteps. Oh! Another student? She thinks. The girl was standing right in front of her now. She tried to say something but couldn't manage to get her words out. Not this again! Leona usually will not be able to speak when she just meets someone. "What..your...name...?" She shyly asks the girl. She looks around to see if anyone is nearby. No one. She looks back at the girl. She looks nice...but I can't trust her. Leona doesn't usually trust people easily.
The book Leona was reading was a bit boring. Leona wished that she brought 'Hogwarts, A History' to the library with her. She was interested in the big history book. It taught her about the place she was sleeping and learning in. Leona knows nothing about magic. It didn't help her being a Muggle-born but she wanted to know about the school. Leona looked around to see no kids except for this girl. Who is this girl? She gets up to walk over to the girl. She reaches her hand out, it's a bit sweaty. Will she accept it? It's sweaty...that usually happens.
Leona stares at the girl as she begins to want to leave.

Reading over the holidays
“Oh, Hey!” Eryn says, looking the other student over. She looks shy, like she doesn’t want to be disturbed. Or maybe just like she wasn’t expecting company. “I’m Eryn. Ravenclaw, if you couldn’t tell” she pats the blue accents on her jacket, before taking the other girl’s hand and shaking it. “What’s yours?”Reducio★ Interacting with @Leona Cooper★ Text ★ Speech ★
She hadn't come to the library looking for company, but she would never turn it down. The empty Ravenclaw tower felt unfamiliar. There were still scattered pieces from a wizard’s chess set on the common room table, long forgotten by the students returning home. She had decided to stay over the holidays to get more used to the school. And perhaps explore some of the places she wouldn’t get away with otherwise… But the castle was quiet and boring without any of her friends. Plus, you could only have so many conversations with paintings. She had, in fact, come looking for books on owls. She wasn’t quite sure how the birds could fly such distances- but she really wanted to know what she could get an owl to carry. What were the limits?
It was ok though. The books she had found so far were interesting, and she was looking forward to retreating to her room to tidy up her things and relax in the quiet. “What books are you reading?” she asks, looking at the books in her arms.

Interacting with @Eryn Bailey Thoughts Just in case you didn't know already
Leona looks at the girl that just introduced herself. "Oh...I'm Leona...Hi Eryn...I'm just reading a book I found" She looks at the girl wondering why she was here. She seems nice...and she's Ravenclaw...not that that matters. She thinks as she skims over the girl. Yes...100% Ravenclaw...blue...nice hair. Leona looks past Eryn to see no other kids in the library. Well it's just me and Eryn I guess. She notices a book near her that is quite big. Leona grabs the book and reads a few pages.
Huh...cool. What! As Leona reads the mysterious book she begins to wonder. What would it be like if I wasn't a Muggle-Born...If I was a Pure Blood I might not feel so stupid. I can't really change my family though. Leona reads the pages and then puts it back. What is that book? She starts to read the other book again. The normal book that doesn't make her feel ashamed. Well that was really weird...it was a normal book...right? Leona turns to look at Eryn.
"So...how are you?" Leona asks Eryn. She wants to make another friend. Maybe Eryn will be her new friend. I have friends but I want maybe a few more. She looks at the strange book but quickly turns to look back a Eryn to wait for Eryn's answer.
