QUIET PEOPLE HAVE THE LOUDEST MINDS
Basil stabbed himself with his nail. He couldn't help it, it was a nervous habit. He decided to head outside of the cabin. Hogwarts was very new to him. Very, very new. His parents had been delighted when they heard that he was returning from spring break not in Ilvermorny, but Hogwarts. Hogwarts was hosting a spring ball of some sort and many other schools had been invited. Basil had mentally freaked out when he saw the large amount of students in Hogwarts robes looking at him and whispering about him in his Ilvermorny uniform. Basil grabbed his bag and headed out towards the grounds of this new and unfamiliar castle. Shaking the thoughts of other students from his head he looked around for something to do. He didn't really know why he had come out, maybe to get some fresh air. Basil sighed then looked up at the castle. It looked really pretty from the grounds, it would look even better at night he guessed. He didn't know because of obvious reasons. Basil looked through his satchel and found a book. He opened it and started walking, a dangerous habit his mother never approved of. His mother turned out to be right as Basil slammed into a person. Aw geez- wha? He wondered as his book tumbled out of his hands and he fell backward onto the ground. I hope I didn't run into a Hogwarts student! He thought.

While iNPC is in Hogwarts
Kaya was a bit less excited for the spring ball. However, maybe she'll just approach someone at the ball. Her fall ball partner was nowhere to be seen, so she thought it was highly unlikely she would be with him again.

This day she decided to walk around the Hogwarts. It didn't bother her, all those stares and whispers. Kaya understood it. Balls were the only times except for summer camp when Hogwarts saw students from other schools.

She was now closer to great lake. Without her bestie temporarily, as she was certain she'll find her soon. It was at that time, while she was preoccupied by this thought, she felt suddenly someone slammed in her. She looked in front of her to find a younger guy. Somehow, she was sure he was from Ilvermorny as well.

Hey, are you okay? She sat down reaching for the book and gave it to him to take from her. She needed to stop being in her thoughts in this castle. Although she wasn't sure she'd notice him in time even if she'd look straight. Hogwarts. It was getting quite crowded, especially with all schools here now. You are also from Ilvermorny, aren't you?

Basil looked up at a girl who was definetly at least a year older then him. He shakily took back his book and brushed his legs off.
"I-yeah, I'm fine." Basil muttered, standing up. He looked up in surprise as she announced herself a Ilvermorny student. I can't believe it, she's from Ilvermorny! Basil thought. Basil nodded.
"Y-yes. First year horned serpent." Basil told her. Basil gave the girl a quick look down. She had long brown hair and brown eyes. Basil smoothed his hair self-consciously. The girl in front of him was fairly intimidating- then again, most students were. I hope she isn't a third year. That would be awkward. Basil thought. He had very little encounters with older students and when he saw them in the hallways they always looked down on him. Basil played with his strap on his bag, not knowing what to do.
"Er-sorry again for slamming into you. Was reading... I mean I guess that was kinda obvious..." Basil trailed off wishing he could be more confident. He stuffed his book in his bag thinking back to his father and mother's words. Don't read while walking! Someone could slam into you-or vise versa! Son, try to keep your head out of the clouds- Rose is very social! Why aren't you? The last memory slammed into his head like overflowing lava. He had come home from camp and his hair had mud all in it. The kids at camp had teased him for not talking and pushed his head into the mud. Basil bit his lip and looked at the ground, refusing to cry in front of an older kid.

When iNPC in Hogwarts
Kaya smiled. I'm Kaya Rose Bennett, second year, Thunderbird. What's your name? Horned Serpent was a nice house as well, but as she was more adventurous, she went to Thunderbird.

It's fine. Just take care while we are here. It can be rather crowded with all schools here and you might end up injuring yourself. She said with kind voice, simply giving caring advice rather than scolding.

As Kaya was talking, she thought she could notice that the mood of the guy in front of her changed, although she wasn't sure. So you like to read? That's really awesome! I'm more into adventures, however, if I find something interesting, I will keep reading till I finish the book. She chuckled. Kaya didn't mind being the one who was more talkative. It didn't bother her if another person was more comfortable with less talking. You know, don't worry if you are more interested in reading than talking to someone. Over your hobby you can meet really great friends and you might read together. Do what makes you feel comfortable and stay a nice person.
Kaya smiled warmly as she paused to see if the boy would say something. She remembered about her friends. Kaya couldn't say she had a lot of them, but she was certain she had true ones. And this was the most important.
